“Mary is the first person we’ve ever left Dozer with and I felt so at ease knowing he was in a wonderful home with Mary. She sent me multiple updates and pictures of Dozer. It was so nice to be away knowing he was in such good hands 😊”

“Melissa watched my puppy on new years and did great! He was on medication for a hurt paw and she made sure he was properly taken care of. He had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend!”

“Carol, has become my go to sitter. I have used her twice and couldn’t be happier. Carol keeps me updated with reports and pictures and treats my puppy as her own. Her care, concern and love for my puppy helps me relax when I’m away knowing that she will be loved and well cared for.”

About: What sets me apart is the level of personalized care and experience I bring. I have over 6 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. While we don’t have a fenced yard, I prioritize frequent walks, outdoor time, and supervised potty breaks to ensure dogs stay active and engaged. We also have a friendly, goofy, and welcoming Golden Retriever who loves having dog friends and helps new pups feel comfortable quickly. I focus on consistency, safety, and making sure every dog feels at home, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is part of my daily routine, not an afterthought. I’m available to board your dog or provide care for a few hours, depending on your needs. I’m fully available on weekends, and I also work from home on Mondays and Fridays, allowing me to give your dog consistent attention and companionship on those days as well. I usually take our dog out every four hours. But depending on your dog needs, i can adjust.Depending on your pups needs, i can keep them separate from our dog or keep them together. I am flexible.
About: I have lots of experience administering medication to dogs and cats and I am comfortable doing so. I am also comfortable watching puppies, who are not potty trained, and cleaning up after them. I have had many puppies in my life and cleaned up a lot of messes. Depending on your requests (and your dog's preference), I will take your dog on a long (2 to 3 mile) walk a day or to the dog park (probably in Pheonixville: on Longford Rd). A dog deserves to get all his energy out, and I do not charge more for walking them. I recently moved to the Valley View Apartments in Pottstown, PA. I work part-time at The Home Depot (6 minutes away). I have a BA in English from Stony Brook University in NY and I am returning to School this fall, part-time, to begin a new journey in Engineering. I love dogs and I would enjoy watching them and taking care of them. I have had dogs my entire life, and due to my recent move, this is the first time in my life I am without them in residence. Your dog(s) is free to go and sleep wherever they want in my apartment. My dog, Oliver, is a gentle, sweet pup with random bursts of puppy energy. He suffers with epilepsy, which is where I gained experience administering (over fifty: not an exaggeration) pills a day to my dog. Our dogs and cats are free to go wherever they want at the house back at home and when they stay here at my apartment. Although I am not living with them currently, I believe taking them out either for a long walk or to the dog park for at least forty five minutes is essential.
“Meagan is so great with our dog! He loves going to stay with her since she takes such great care of him and treats him as if he were her own! Definitely recommend Meagan for any boarding needs! She is awesome!”

“Julie, Caleb and their children made Snickers stay wonderful. They kept me updated with pictures and how Snickers day was going. My husband and I were able to have a great vacation knowing Snickers was getting lots of love and attention! We will definitely use them again!!!”

“Tielian did a great job taking care of our dog, as always. We’ve used her to watch our pup many times and she’s always dependable and kind. We will definitely use her again!”

“We had a sick family member and needed someone to watch Hugs in a pinch. Tiffany was great with Hugs and super responsive. We appreciate her taking her on such late notice. Hugs had a great time and it is good knowing someone will treat your pet like family while you are away. Thanks Tiffany!!”

“Natalie and her husband are the absolute best! They kept me updated on my pups with pictures and messages each day! Their home is beautiful and clean with lots of room for my pups to play. I am so grateful I found them and would highly recommend to everyone. I completely trust my 2 dogs with them and felt safe knowing they were in their care our whole trip!!!!! ❤️”

About: I've worked both for neighbors providing pet care for years as well as worked for over a year at a pet boarding/daycare facility for a year. I'm a current college student with a light course load and plenty of time to spare looking after your fur baby! I love walks/hike so if your pet is up for an adventure, so am I! I treat others pets as I would my own. I ensure everything (walks, feeding, etc) are done exactly as you'd like and your pet will have all of my attention.
“I contacted Wendy from out of state mid-vacation because my dog wasn’t doing well when his sitter left the house. Wendy agreed to watch our dog at her house and helped us arrange his transportation. Our anxious pup warmed up to her immediately and loved his stay at her house! He got to snuggle on the couch, roam the big yard, chase the squirrels—what else could a dog want!? Our dog came home very happy and while he was glad to see me when I picked him up, he also went to Wendy and her family for goodbye pets—a sign he enjoyed his time with them. Wendy was such a delight to work with from beginning to end. Without hesitation, she will be the first person I contact to watch our dog when we plan our next vacation.”

“Hollie is an excellent dog sitter. This was the second time that we left our Jazzi with her and her dog Jovi for a week. She sent photos each day and I can tell she loves the dogs she sits as much as her own. Hollie is also very flexible and works with your schedule. She takes such great care of my Jazzi and I trust her with my girl.”

“Tim and his family took absolutely wonderful care of Togo! 🐶 Togo can be a bit of a trouble eater, but Tim and his family were incredibly patient and really went the extra mile to make sure he was comfortable and eating well. They tried different approaches and truly cared about making sure he was happy and settled. They made Togo feel completely at home, which gave us so much peace of mind. Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay — Tim regularly shared updates and pictures, which meant a lot to us. Our flight was unexpectedly delayed, and they were kind enough to accommodate Togo for a couple of extra hours at the last minute without any hesitation. That flexibility and understanding really meant so much. We are so grateful and would absolutely trust Tim and his family with Togo again. Highly recommend!”

“The ladies have been to Jim’s for 2 separate long weekends!! Amazing dude with a true gift of dog connection!! The ladies have never been away from home and they get right in the car to go back!! THANKS Jim”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Linfield
We had such a wonderful experience with Gina! She was reliable, caring, and kept us updated with messages and pictures while we were away, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly loved all the attention. It’s such a relief to know we have someone we can completely trust with our pet. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and loving sitter!
We left Schnitzel with Janette for a three-four day trip. Schnitzel had a great time making new friends with the family and with the dogs, and we were very happy to know that she was very well cared for. Janette sent piks and kept us updated and Schnitzel had a great time. I highly recommend Janette if you're looking for dog care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
