“Kristin was wonderful! Our dog is a rescue and can be very nervous around new people. Kristin and her pets made Bagheera comfortable right away and I came back to a very happy, worn out doggy. Kristin also kept in touch during our trip and sent us many pictures, videos, and updates. She was also very flexible with our trip schedule and extremely friendly all around! I highly recommend Kristin!”

“Jenna has always provided excellent care for my dogs. She's great with communication, provides pictures and updates, and has been understanding and accommodating to emergency schedule changes. Most importantly, my dogs get really excited to go to her house, so I know that they're being well taken care of.”

“My guys enjoyed their time with Amanda. We scheduled a Meet & Greet on the day she received my request. My guys loved her fenced in yard. Amanda sent photos through the day and the buys were happy when I picked them up the next day. I will definitely reccomend and use her services again.”

“Lovely, cozy house and farm, where our Great Pyrenees had a perfect stay over the holiday period this year. Zach and Martin sent regular photo and video updates while we were gone - highly recommended!”

About: I have lots of experience administering medication to dogs and cats and I am comfortable doing so. I am also comfortable watching puppies, who are not potty trained, and cleaning up after them. I have had many puppies in my life and cleaned up a lot of messes. Depending on your requests (and your dog's preference), I will take your dog on a long (2 to 3 mile) walk a day or to the dog park (probably in Pheonixville: on Longford Rd). A dog deserves to get all his energy out, and I do not charge more for walking them. I recently moved to the Valley View Apartments in Pottstown, PA. I work part-time at The Home Depot (6 minutes away). I have a BA in English from Stony Brook University in NY and I am returning to School this fall, part-time, to begin a new journey in Engineering. I love dogs and I would enjoy watching them and taking care of them. I have had dogs my entire life, and due to my recent move, this is the first time in my life I am without them in residence. Your dog(s) is free to go and sleep wherever they want in my apartment. My dog, Oliver, is a gentle, sweet pup with random bursts of puppy energy. He suffers with epilepsy, which is where I gained experience administering (over fifty: not an exaggeration) pills a day to my dog. Our dogs and cats are free to go wherever they want at the house back at home and when they stay here at my apartment. Although I am not living with them currently, I believe taking them out either for a long walk or to the dog park for at least forty five minutes is essential.
“Amanda was amazing! It was my first time boarding my 2 large dogs and I was quite nervous however Amanda was extremely reassuring and sent me photos every day and let me know what my pups were up to! They had a great time and had a better vacation than my family did!”

“I want to thank Diego and Ameilia for taking such good care of Toffee! This was the first time we've left Toffee in a sitter’s home. Toffee seemed very happy and taken good care of. I felt pleased seeing all the pics that they shared.I will definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to others!”

“Thank you so much Mayra for taking amazing care of my baby boy on this long stay. Mayra is amazing and i can tell by the pictures and videos i was receiving daily that Milo was in loving care. Thank you so much to Mayra and her family!”

“Sruthi and Abha were so wonderful to our little Meatball! While we were on vacation, it was clear that Meatball was too! They sent updates with photos multiple times a day. It was so sweet and my kids, in particular, loved hearing what adventure their dog was having each day! We look forward to booking when we go away again! Thanks!!!”

“I don’t have enough nice things to say about Amanda! She took wonderful care of my dog while I was away for the week. She took into consideration for my dogs routine and his safety. She was very attentive to my dogs needs. He came home happy and tuckered out! 10/10 HIGHLY recommend!!”

“Wendy is so wonderful and flexible. Our boys get so excited when we pull up to Wendy’s house. She sends updates and pictures daily. “Deb took amazing care of Luna, and made us feel very secure she was being left in safe hands. She gave us daily updates on all their walks and playtimes, and she even bought Luna some toys which we truly appreciated. I highly recommend her!”

“Wendy and Daniel were absolutely wonderful. We get nervous leaving our Boston terrier if the person is not familiar with the brachiocephalic breed and they made us so comfortable at the meet and greet! Barney had the best time and can’t wait to book again.”

“Adrienne watched our fur baby Triple for the first time overnight. She was great! Triple enjoyed his stay. Thank you for taking such good care of him. I highly recommend and will definitely be using her again.”

“Missy is the best! I averaged about four photos every morning and then again later in the day that she sent to me. My very active Boston terrier had an absolute blast! Thank you, thank you thank you!”

We had a very good experience with Sai. She took regular photos and communicated how things were going while we were out of town. She took really good care of our dog and we felt comfortable with how she handled every situation that arose. I would recommend her to anyone that needs dog sitting. She was great!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
