“I left my boy Ace for 3 weeks with Meagan and he had a blast! I never left him for so much to someone found an app.. but it was the best choice ever! I’ll bring Ace back for sure! He had soooo much fun!!”

“Jetzy was awesome with our little frenchie. She provided daily updates, and was able to accommodate his special needs. Our dog had a ton of fun with Captain. Would absolutely recommend and use Jetzy and family again!”

“My girl came home happy and she didn't want to leave her vacation! Erica was communicative and sent a picture or video almost every day which I told her gave huge comfort to my toddler. She delivered all of Coco Chanel's meds without incidence (and even gave her bi-weekly subcutaneous shot). Thank you Erica, we will book with you again!”

“Sarah was absolutely amazing. Being so timid I was worried about nova but she kept me updated daily as to how she was adjusting and getting along. Nova and Chloe both loved Sarah and I would absolutely rebook her again when I need to travel.”

“Tina is the BEST sitter you will ever find. She and her son love on our dog and give her so much exercise and attention when she stays. In fact, our dog has actually looked disappointed that her vacation was over when we came back. Thank you to Tina for all that you do for our baby!”

“This was my first time using Rover so i was very nervous. But after reading all her reviews, we chose Carole to take care of my 4 month old puppy Novie for 4 days and 3 nights and she took great care of her! She sent me lots of updates, responded quick when i texted, and sent lots of pictures showing Novie having a good time. I would use Carole again in a heartbeat.”

“Ariel was an excellent host. She kept me consistently updated on Rain’s day with photos, videos, and thoughtful messages. She was also very attentive to Rain’s needs, spending time playing with her and staying close by during her first night. I will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Debra and Michael were absolutely wonderful with Leia! They went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and cared for. They kept a detailed log of her activities and schedule, which gave us such peace of mind. We also loved getting all the photos and videos—they made us feel like we were right there with her. They were attentive to how much she was eating and even went out to get her more food to make sure she had everything she needed. She has been snoozing all day since she returned. Leia was clearly in great hands, and we’re so grateful for their care. Highly recommend them!”

About: I have lots of experience administering medication to dogs and cats and I am comfortable doing so. I am also comfortable watching puppies, who are not potty trained, and cleaning up after them. I have had many puppies in my life and cleaned up a lot of messes. Depending on your requests (and your dog's preference), I will take your dog on a long (2 to 3 mile) walk a day or to the dog park (probably in Pheonixville: on Longford Rd). A dog deserves to get all his energy out, and I do not charge more for walking them. I recently moved to the Valley View Apartments in Pottstown, PA. I work part-time at The Home Depot (6 minutes away). I have a BA in English from Stony Brook University in NY and I am returning to School this fall, part-time, to begin a new journey in Engineering. I love dogs and I would enjoy watching them and taking care of them. I have had dogs my entire life, and due to my recent move, this is the first time in my life I am without them in residence. Your dog(s) is free to go and sleep wherever they want in my apartment. My dog, Oliver, is a gentle, sweet pup with random bursts of puppy energy. He suffers with epilepsy, which is where I gained experience administering (over fifty: not an exaggeration) pills a day to my dog. Our dogs and cats are free to go wherever they want at the house back at home and when they stay here at my apartment. Although I am not living with them currently, I believe taking them out either for a long walk or to the dog park for at least forty five minutes is essential.
“Tim and his family were great for our dog. He stayed with them for 5 days. Tim was good about communicating as we were setting up a meet and greet and also while he watched our dog. We weren't sure how our dog would get along with his 2 dogs, but his dogs were very friendly and sweet. We had no worries about them getting along. His whole family came out to meet our dog at the meet and greet. They were all very nice and you could tell they all like dogs. Our dog came back to us happy and healthy. I would recommend Tim and plan to schedule with him in the future.”

“Both of our pups enjoyed their time with Megan and Vitaliy. They provided a warm loving home with lots of open space to safely explore and enjoy. Megan communicated with us an ample amount which made our time away a lot less stressful. I appreciate them and their care of our dogs.”

“I just want to eternally thank Cassandra for taking care of my boy as if he were me in such a short time. She made me feel very safe and comfortable on my vacation without having to think so much, but thanks to her I was very comfortable during these days away from my baby. Thank you so much and I recommend her with my eyes closed. She is very good at what she does 👏”

“Corra had the best time with Dolly and her sons. She was well taken care of with plenty of walks and cuddles. Dolly also kept us updated with frequent pictures. Will definitely book Dolly again !!”

“Sheryl was fantastic! My dog is so incredibly timid of new people and places but she did so wonderfully at Sheryl’s house for the week! I received updates throughout the week, which was greatly appreciated! I hope to use Sheryl again the next time we go out of town!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
