“Julia was amazing. We had an out of town wedding and she took care of our Finn like her own. She has a little Yorkie named Archie and Finn and he had some much fun together. I was so relieved by Julia's updates and pictures that she sent. Finn loves to walk and she took him out for many walks in her very walkable neighborhood. I highly recommend Julia for your next getaway.”

“Sarah is amazing and caring. With this being the first time leaving Savannah overnight, Sarah eased us through the process and answered all of our questions and concerns. She communicated with us while Savannah was in her care. We are so glad we found Sarah and we definitely recommend reaching out to Sarah for all of your pet care needs. 💕”

“Deb took amazing care of Luna, and made us feel very secure she was being left in safe hands. She gave us daily updates on all their walks and playtimes, and she even bought Luna some toys which we truly appreciated. I highly recommend her!”

About: I have lots of experience administering medication to dogs and cats and I am comfortable doing so. I am also comfortable watching puppies, who are not potty trained, and cleaning up after them. I have had many puppies in my life and cleaned up a lot of messes. Depending on your requests (and your dog's preference), I will take your dog on a long (2 to 3 mile) walk a day or to the dog park (probably in Pheonixville: on Longford Rd). A dog deserves to get all his energy out, and I do not charge more for walking them. I recently moved to the Valley View Apartments in Pottstown, PA. I work part-time at The Home Depot (6 minutes away). I have a BA in English from Stony Brook University in NY and I am returning to School this fall, part-time, to begin a new journey in Engineering. I love dogs and I would enjoy watching them and taking care of them. I have had dogs my entire life, and due to my recent move, this is the first time in my life I am without them in residence. Your dog(s) is free to go and sleep wherever they want in my apartment. My dog, Oliver, is a gentle, sweet pup with random bursts of puppy energy. He suffers with epilepsy, which is where I gained experience administering (over fifty: not an exaggeration) pills a day to my dog. Our dogs and cats are free to go wherever they want at the house back at home and when they stay here at my apartment. Although I am not living with them currently, I believe taking them out either for a long walk or to the dog park for at least forty five minutes is essential.
“Lily is absolutely amazing. She treats our Charlie like family. She’s reasonable and listens to your questions and concerns. We absolutely love her! Thank you Lily for treating our Charlie as your own”

About: What sets me apart is the level of personalized care and experience I bring. I have over 6 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. While we don’t have a fenced yard, I prioritize frequent walks, outdoor time, and supervised potty breaks to ensure dogs stay active and engaged. We also have a friendly, goofy, and welcoming Golden Retriever who loves having dog friends and helps new pups feel comfortable quickly. I focus on consistency, safety, and making sure every dog feels at home, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is part of my daily routine, not an afterthought. I’m available to board your dog or provide care for a few hours, depending on your needs. I’m fully available on weekends, and I also work from home on Mondays and Fridays, allowing me to give your dog consistent attention and companionship on those days as well. I usually take our dog out every four hours. But depending on your dog needs, i can adjust.Depending on your pups needs, i can keep them separate from our dog or keep them together. I am flexible.
“My pups had a great stay with them and their 2 little dogs. I felt very safe leaving them there. They sent pictures throughout their stay to assure me they were doing well. They keep the dogs secured on their family room, which is nice, cozy, and safe. I definitely recommend them.”

“Kristin was amazing! Very friendly and flexible with reservations. She sent updates everyday, and some pictures to go with it. She played with my puppy (who constantly wants to play), and snuggled with my 14 year old dog who is completely blind and going deaf. We will definitely make reservations with Kristin again!”

“Our Layla had a great time with Samantha and family! Communication was wonderful and I was happy to get some pictures during our time away. I would definitely recommend and plan on booking with her again!”

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lori. She takes such great care of my very fussy Dora. My dog ran right into her house for her second overnight visit. She obviously loves going there. Thank you Lori.”

“Tina is amazing! She was so great with our dog Butters, and made sure we were updated regularly about how he was doing. He gets a bit anxious in new places, and she was wonderful with him through and through. Would highly recommend her!!”

“Tielian and her family took such good care of our pup. She sent a lot of pictures, which we appreciated. She was responsive and loving to our Charlie. She even gave him some extra treats to take home! We highly recommend Tielian and her family.”

“Luna had a great time staying at Cera’s. Cera went above and beyond in making sure Luna felt at home, taking her on runs, lots of snuggles, and sharing an abundance of updates. Would definitely book again.”

“We couldn't be happier with Mike and Perla’s care for our toy poodle Oscar, over the past four days. From the moment we dropped him off, it was clear that they genuinely love animals and takes this responsibilities seriously. Mike was incredibly attentive, sending us regular updates and adorable photos and videos of our little guy looking happy and relaxed. He followed all our instructions perfectly and even went above and beyond by giving extra cuddles and walks. Our little one came back calm, happy, and well-cared-for. We highly recommend Mike & Perla to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional sitter. Thank you, for your exceptional care and dedication — you’ve earned every one of these five stars! Chris & Derlim”

“Adrienne watched our fur baby Triple for the first time overnight. She was great! Triple enjoyed his stay. Thank you for taking such good care of him. I highly recommend and will definitely be using her again.”

“Gina is so kind and loving towards our dog. She treats her like her own. When we went to meet her for the first time, she was genuinely interested in Giulia and interacted so kindly with her. You can tell that Gina loves dogs and is very knowledgeable about them. We felt completely comfortable leaving Giulia with her for a week. We would absolutely ask her to keep our dog again.”

“Tim and his family were great for our dog. He stayed with them for 5 days. Tim was good about communicating as we were setting up a meet and greet and also while he watched our dog. We weren't sure how our dog would get along with his 2 dogs, but his dogs were very friendly and sweet. We had no worries about them getting along. His whole family came out to meet our dog at the meet and greet. They were all very nice and you could tell they all like dogs. Our dog came back to us happy and healthy. I would recommend Tim and plan to schedule with him in the future.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
