About: My pet care experience starts at a young age. I’ve been surrounded by family pets since I can remember. Animal caretaking responsibilities were instilled in me very early in life. I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and multiple breeds, senior dogs who require medication, cats, and even small caged pets! Once I became eligible, I began volunteering at my local ASPCA where I was able to learn about a number of different breeds and their needs, how to safely walk dogs, and take care of cleaning responsibilities. Now, I am on this journey with Rover which has given me even more experience! I’m currently offering pet care as my full time job so aside from errands needing to be run, your pet will have someone to hang out with! I understand that pet parents with dog-reactive dogs have a tough time finding care for their pets, so I only sit one household’s pets at a time. Have no fear if your pup isn’t a fan of other dogs, that will not be an issue with me. I know how important routine is for pets so I will make sure to stick to your care schedule for potty breaks, feeding times, and medication administration.

About: Passionate about helping owners understand the 'why' behind their dogs behavior and making a plan to progress that aligns with their lifestyle and the dogs needs. I'm currently working full-time while hoping to transition my career to a full time dog trainer. I am available evenings and weekends, with some flexibility throughout the week day. I will always follow the requests of the client, but also offer better options that provide additional safety. Owner's know their dog best so I always like to establish any boundaries they may have upon the first service.

“This has been our first week with Kalista as a drop in help for our 6 month old Lab. She has been great to work with and is so communicative! She always sends pictures so I don’t miss him during the day! She took the time to come over before booking to meet us and Charlie so that we could show her around our home! Charlie has loved getting to see a friendly face in the middle of the day while we are working! The weather has been nice so Charlie has enjoyed getting outside and playing ball in the yard to get some energy out! I know he’s very taken care of.”
