“This was our first time booking experience through Rover and our pet sitter Emily. From my initial contact with Emily our experience has been wonderful. Emily provided great care for our furry friends, sent us daily notes and pictures and kept us well informed throughout. I highly recommend Emily and will be booking again soon!”

“Julie is awesome and I highly recommend her as your sitter. She was very responsive, on time, and followed the instructions to a T. Bandit seemed very happy with the amount she played fetch with him too. I hope she’s available in the future too because I will most definitely try asking for her help again.”

“Another 2 weeks of Michelle looking after my baby. Great to come home knowing my tiny lil kitten was fed and played with. Great photos are always taken of play time or snuggle time with Gracie Mae!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for myself and my pets with Jennifer. My dog who can be a bit shy really warmed up to her which is huge! Jennifer’s communication and overall positivity, care, and friendliness is so appreciated and made me feel completely comfortable leaving my dog and cat in her care. Highly recommend!”

“So my weekend plans came together at the last minute and my regular dog sitter was booked. So I gave Rover.com a try and booked Samantha K. and it was an excellent experience. First, I'm grateful that Samantha fit me into her schedule. She was great in getting to the house, getting our lab mix out for potty breaks, playtime, and back in for meal time. I would definitely recommend Samantha K. Pricing was very reasonable and the process so convenient.”

“Nicola was amazing with Roxy! Roxy was well taken care of with walks, feedings, and extra love and rubs!! This is our first time utilizing drop in services while away on vacation and I couldn’t ask for a better person to care for her. Will definitely utilize Nicola again in the future!”

“Betty watched our cats while we were out of town and took such good care of them- we really appreciate her attention to detail and consideration- she even brought in a few Amazon packages which were left outside. We’re thankful to have found such a good pet sitter- thank you Betty!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Ariel watching our dogs while we were out of state . She provided daily updates, which gave us great peace of mind, and it was clear that our dogs were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. She was attentive, reliable, and treated our dogs like they were her own. We came home to happy pups and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter!”

“Amanda and Joe did an amazing job taking care of our kitties. I got pictures every day they visited and updates on how each cat was doing while they were there. They even got our super shy cat to come out of her shell a bit after a couple visits. I will definitely be using them again!”

“Diana was very accommodating & was able to help me out at the last minute. She did very well with my two dogs & they seemed to be very comfortable with her. She followed my detailed instructions & didn't appear to have any problems with my sometimes problematic dog. I would definitely recommend Diana to those who need a caring, responsible pet sitter.”

“Samantha did an excellent job with my three dogs. They are all 65 lbs, two require pills and the third is a very strong minded (and bodied) dog. She treated them with love and respect. I appreciate how diligent she was with my dogs and how she did not rush in and out. Thank you!!!”

About: I have lots of experience administering medication to dogs and cats and I am comfortable doing so. I am also comfortable watching puppies, who are not potty trained, and cleaning up after them. I have had many puppies in my life and cleaned up a lot of messes. Depending on your requests (and your dog's preference), I will take your dog on a long (2 to 3 mile) walk a day or to the dog park (probably in Pheonixville: on Longford Rd). A dog deserves to get all his energy out, and I do not charge more for walking them. I recently moved to the Valley View Apartments in Pottstown, PA. I work part-time at The Home Depot (6 minutes away). I have a BA in English from Stony Brook University in NY and I am returning to School this fall, part-time, to begin a new journey in Engineering. I love dogs and I would enjoy watching them and taking care of them. I have had dogs my entire life, and due to my recent move, this is the first time in my life I am without them in residence. Your dog(s) is free to go and sleep wherever they want in my apartment. My dog, Oliver, is a gentle, sweet pup with random bursts of puppy energy. He suffers with epilepsy, which is where I gained experience administering (over fifty: not an exaggeration) pills a day to my dog. Our dogs and cats are free to go wherever they want at the house back at home and when they stay here at my apartment. Although I am not living with them currently, I believe taking them out either for a long walk or to the dog park for at least forty five minutes is essential.
About: I grew up with dogs and while my current situation isn't conducive to owning, dogsitting and walking suffice the immediate urge. I grew up with St. Bernards, so I can handle dogs of all sizes. My schedule will be very open, but I enjoy waking up early and going on walks, so if that is something that you are looking for I would gladly volunteer my services. I am very active and am ready to tire out your dog in the yard or on a run when necessary. Looking forward to spending time with your dog! I'm taking some time in between jobs, so my days are wide open, but I play soccer in the evenings very regularly, so that is the only part of the day where I may have limitations. I am not able to offer boarding given my apartment restrictions, but I can assure you I will treat your home with care and respect.

About: I am the ultimate pet lover! I grew up with fish, a hamster, a rabbit, and dogs. In 2008, I adopted 3 puppies of my parents’ dog. They were my kids and my pride and joy! My last pup passed away in January 2024, 2 months shy of his 16th birthday. Since then, I’ve been helping to take care of family pets and am excited to offer walking, feeding, and sitting services for others in the community. I am focusing on finishing my last year as a doctoral student. I’m also an expert at time management! I am available almost everyday of the week. I am detail-oriented, caring, trustworthy, customer service-oriented, and I love animals! I don’t have any direct experience caring for cats, but I have been around them enough to be comfortable with them. I promise to take care of others’ pets like they’re my own.
About: I grew up working on my aunt’s horse ranch and petting zoo, taming barn cats and swimming with my chocolate Lab, Yogi. Animals have always had a special place in my heart. I specialize in medically sensitive pets, seniors, animals who take their time warming up, and the ones who decide we’re best friends immediately. I care for every animal like I would want someone to care for my own. Clients often tell me, “You must think I’m nuts for doing all this for my pet.” My answer is always, “You should see what I do for mine. 😂” With four cats and a senior rescue dog I truly get it. Our animals are family. They give us unconditional love without words, and they deserve the very best care, patience, and stewardship we can give them. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, understood, and genuinely loved while they’re in my care. Pet care is my daily life and full-time passion. My schedule is built around providing reliable, attentive care while giving every animal the time they deserve. I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I expect for my own. I follow routines closely, prioritize safety, communicate consistently, and pay attention to each pet’s individual needs, comfort, and personality.
About: Connor and Kaitlyn love pets of all kinds. They’ve had many pets together over the years including a dog named Jango, hamsters, rats, reptiles, fish, and now two cats who they love and adore named Grub And Fern. Kaitlyn has 4 years of professional pet sitting experience, along with a lifetime of personal pet experience. She grew up with any pet you can think of! She also volunteered at her local ASPCA as a teenager. Connor grew up with dogs and has many years of personal experience with pets. Even dogs who “don’t like men” love him! They both have a great understanding of pet body language and boundaries. They both can administer medication. We are currently offering pet sitting services full time with a few exceptions here and there. We are very flexible and ready to care for your pets any time. We understand that every pet is unique and we strive to make every experience personalized. Wether your dog or cat is reactive, or they have special medical needs, we’re ready to make their experience a happy one. Our top priority is the safety of your pets and your home. We will always send real-time updates to keep you at ease!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
