“Dolly and her three boys took exceptional care of Parker. She has three boys and a large fencing backyard that allowed him to play amd explore in a safe environment. When we arrived, parker was immediately snatched up by her by one of her two younger sons who promptly began playing with him, pampering him and loving him. Dolly said her sons even “argued” over whose bed he would sleep in. Parker came back a happy camper and made three great buddies along the way. Additionally, Dolly kept constant contact with me and sent pictures over the course of the two days. I would highly recommend this wonderful family to look after your pet whenever you need someone to watch them.”

About: I have had several dogs and cats in my adult life. I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats and one ferret. I am working with a dog trainer to assist my dogs getting along with my new rescue. I currently have a full time job from 8-4 in West Chester. I can come on the following days: Monday, Tuesday, Fridays, and weekends any time. I will stick to your schedule best I can. I will come and take the dogs for a walk, play and snuggle time. I will scoop poop in the yard. I will change the litter box and not force the cats to snuggle. If they want it, they can.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Alexa! My dog, Cricket, is a Chihuahua mix with severe anxiety. Since rescuing him over two years ago, he has never allowed another person to get close to him, much less developed a bond with anyone other than me. He is an incredibly sweet, loving dog, but his anxiety has made it nearly impossible for me to leave him with anyone. With an upcoming trip, I decided to try a one-night stay in hopes of finding someone with the patience, understanding, and compassion to let Cricket adjust at his own pace. Alexa was everything I could have hoped for and more. She took the time to earn his trust without rushing him or pushing his boundaries. She was wonderful about communicating with me throughout his stay, sending updates that put my mind at ease. To my absolute amazement, Cricket not only warmed up to her but actually bonded with her and even snuggled up next to her to sleep! This is something I never imagined would happen after just one night. What Alexa has given us is so much more than a place for Cricket to stay. She has given me the freedom and peace of mind to occasionally go places without worrying about him, and, even more importantly, she has given Cricket the opportunity to feel safe, loved, and comfortable with someone besides me. For anyone with a dog who needs a little extra patience, understanding, and love, I cannot recommend Alexa highly enough. I am beyond grateful to have found her!
We left Schnitzel with Janette for a three-four day trip. Schnitzel had a great time making new friends with the family and with the dogs, and we were very happy to know that she was very well cared for.
