“I’ve used this dog sitter twice for extended trips, and both experiences were wonderful. It gave me great peace of mind knowing my dog was in such caring and capable hands. Communication was excellent, with regular updates and photos, and my pup was happy, well cared for, and comfortable each time. I returned home to a relaxed, healthy dog and couldn’t ask for more. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter!”

“We’ve used Chonlada and family for two separate weeks this summer to watch our Frenchie. Our dog Gus is so well taken care of and has such a fun time with her dog. Chonlada is very responsive/communicative and caring. Absolutely recommend and we will be booking with her and her family again in the future!”

“I had a great experience with Amanda. She was very friendly and communicative and conscientious. She is a very large, beautiful yard for the dogs to play. She also sent updates and photos.. I would highly recommend her.”

“Diego and Amelia took care of my dog for an entire day so I could focus on moving. They kept him for 4 hrs longer than planned. They were completely understanding and I felt comfortable the entire time.”

“Sruthi and Abha were so wonderful to our little Meatball! While we were on vacation, it was clear that Meatball was too! They sent updates with photos multiple times a day. It was so sweet and my kids, in particular, loved hearing what adventure their dog was having each day! We look forward to booking when we go away again! Thanks!!!”

“Deb took amazing care of Luna, and made us feel very secure she was being left in safe hands. She gave us daily updates on all their walks and playtimes, and she even bought Luna some toys which we truly appreciated. I highly recommend her!”

“Tina was wonderful for our weekend away from Charlie. Great communication and care for our pup! Her fenced in yard is perfect and you can tell how passionately she cares for the pets she watches. We are lucky to have found her and will definitely be repeat clients! Charlie came home a happy boy!”

“Brandi was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, she made us feel completely comfortable leaving Kuma in her care. We loved all the pictures and detailed updates she sent — it meant so much to see how happy and well cared for our pup was while we were away. It was clear she truly cares and goes above and beyond. We will definitely be using her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and attentive dog sitter!”

“Dutch has a great time with Melissa and her dog Nala! He received plenty of attention and exercise. She is very responsive and updates you regularly with texts, photos, and videos. Dutch even wanted to take me on his walking route during his stay! I would highly recommend Melissa to care for your dog.”

“Sheryl was fantastic! My dog is so incredibly timid of new people and places but she did so wonderfully at Sheryl’s house for the week! I received updates throughout the week, which was greatly appreciated! I hope to use Sheryl again the next time we go out of town!”

“So happy that I found these guys! I really can’t say enough good things about Bridget and her adorable daughter. As soon as we met I could tell that they are true dog lovers and my finicky pup was comfortable with them right away. Bridget was very thorough in asking questions and taking notes. Lolly stayed for an extended 4 day weekend and I received lots of updates, photos, and videos. I had no worries at all knowing that she was getting such good care and so much love and attention. In fact we joked that she might not want to come home. I highly recommend and would definitely book with Bridget again!”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
