About: I have had pets all my life and have cared for every shape, size and personality there is to come by whether that’s other people’s pets or my own. I can crate easily and have dealt with administering medications in elderly pets many times. I trim nails with no issue and I enjoy long walks or play time. I work part time in Collegeville, babysit on the side, and attend school in Pennsburg, so I don’t mind a little bit of a drive. I have no problem whatsoever stopping over to take care of your pet during a lunch break if ever necessary. I always leave room for during the day for bookings during the week, usually leaving me working at night, except for weekends. I always treat other peoples children or pets as I would my own, as a priority. I babysit very often and usually that includes pet care. I have watched dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and geckos. Safety means that while taking care of them both of us remain comfortable and relaxed in the presence of eachother. Also that they stay supervised even with their freedom.

About: Animals have always been a piece of my heart. I love every single breed of dogs. I’m always the one someone calls when they need a pet sitter. I care for the animals like no other. I have worked in the doggy daycare/ boarding industry for 2 years, I am a farm girl at heart. I have owned many animals including horses, goats, pigs, chickens, turkeys, & roosters! Right now I am unemployed since I had a cross country move. I am available all day everyday to sit with your pup, play, walk, whatever you would need me to do! I have my own Golden Retriever and Siberian Husky that loves to play. You will always catch my golden and I at the dog park. We love to play fetch!

Daphne was wonderful with our new puppy Koba. We needed someone last minute on the Fourth of July to let him out. She was very responsive and Koba loved her.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals my whole life. I currently have a cat named nacho! I have cared for several of my friends pets while they were away. My kids are older now and I now have spare time to come love and care for more pets. I currently work full time but I am off on on Fridays. So if need for a weekend or even a drop in night time visit. I come to your home and feed, water, and scoop litter box. If they allow me to play, pet, and snuggle I will make them feel as if you have never left.

About: Caring for animals has been a passion of mine my whole life. I started to professionally care for pets when I started highschool in 2014, and have continued since. Not only have I watched pets but I have a plethora of references from nannying to house management as well. Because of this experience, I ensure you I will strive my best to be a conscientious guest in your space with your pet! I have just accepted a position at Spring Ford High school so I am available all day on weekends, and after 3pm on week days! I follow direct orders and routine. I prefer having a list and straight forward direction on how to adequately provide the best care possible for each pet. If it’s a two pet household I prefer information on both pets, even if they coexist, they are two different animals.

By the pictures alone, Ralph seems to have loved it. When we made it home, it was nice to know he was able to relieve himself while we were both unable to do so due to a strange glitch in our schedules. JEN WAS GREAT! Her communication was perfect, she was as very attentive and made me feel at ease from close to 100 miles away from home.

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, from playful puppies to delicate seniors. I'm dedicated to ensuring your pet feels happy and safe, and I keep in close communication with pet parents so you always know your pet is being well-cared for. As a fully remote worker, I have the flexibility to manage my meeting schedule, allowing me to allocate dedicated blocks of time for pet care. I keep my calendar meticulously up-to-date, ensuring that you can rely on the availability shown. I like to get to know each dog I care for and tailor activities based on their personality and needs. For active dogs we may play fetch and go for long walks. On bad weather days, I engage them with brain games, play tug of war, or offer a bone to keep them entertained and mentally stimulated. My goal is to ensure each pet feels happy, comfortable, and well-cared for, whether they're at my home or in their own.

About: My name is Jackie, and my whole life I have been surrounded by and worked with dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and ages. Through years of caring for neighbor and family pets, I have worked with a range of different animals and personalities, from playful puppies and kittens to mellower senior dogs and cats. I know how to read body language, pick up on individual needs, and adjust my approach for every animal in my care. I am dedicated to ensuring your pet gets the exercise, activity, and attention they need to stay happy, healthy, and safe. I keep in close communication with pet parents so you always know your pet is being well cared for. I am a recent college graduate and currently available full time, including weekdays, weekends, mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pet the individualized care and attention they deserve. I have a house with a fenced yard, a pool, and plenty of animal company at home. My dogs are Jen, a redbone coonhound and American lab mix I raised from puppyhood, and Jax, and English charcoal lab we rescued for years ago. Both are eight years old and friendly with both cats and dogs. Rounding out the crew are Freddy and Grady, my two tabby cats, who have been with us for nine years.

Like Julian right away. As soon as he walked in the door , he had an immediate connection with our puppy, Oscar. Oscar has his moments, and sometimes does not listen. Not the case with Julian. Oscar listened to Julian and followed his direction immediately. My husband and I were very impressed. After the meet and greet, and we hired Julian on the spot.. The 30 minute walks are documented with a map, photos, activities, and comments. Julian was punctual and conscientious. I highly recommend Rover.com. More than that, I would recommend Julian to anyone.

About: As a college student with several years of hands-on pet care experience, I provide reliable, attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. I have experience caring for both cats and dogs through personal pet ownership, animal shelter volunteering, and Rover pet sitting. I focus on creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment while making sure every pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I’m a college student, so my schedule is flexible, especially during the summer. I make sure every pet gets the time, attention, and care they need, and I’ll always keep you updated while you’re away. I always follow your pet’s normal routine so they feel as comfortable as possible. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or lots of attention, I’ll care for your pet the same way I would my own. I’ll also keep your home clean, respect your space, and send regular photo updates.

She usually does a meet and greet but because our booking was last minute she just trusted that our 2 golden girls would be sweet and welcoming. (Which they were). • 91% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
