“Boddie loved playing with Amanda's dogs. He loved her fenced in backyard to run, run, run to burn off his energy. I appreciated Amanda giving me updates on how Boddie was doing. Especially after his first night. I was pleased to hear he was quiet through the night and the great communication she provided in light of drop off and pickup. Highly recommend!”

“Chonlada and her family are the absolute best dog caretakers!! Our dog, Duddles, had such a great time with them. Not only did they send regular photo and video updates, but they had fun play-time with her, gave her lots of snuggles, and regular treat breaks. Plus, their backyard is huge, fenced-in, and gorgeous, so lots of room for outdoor playtime! We could not recommend them more!”

“I want to thank Diego and Ameilia for taking such good care of Toffee! This was the first time we've left Toffee in a sitter’s home. Toffee seemed very happy and taken good care of. I felt pleased seeing all the pics that they shared.I will definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to others!”

“Highly recommend Alexa! She has watched my pup Harley twice now— she is super responsive and sends daily updates/pics. Harley always comes home tired and happy from all the playtime”

“Kristin is great! Her house was well kept, with a nice backyard for playtime. Her pets made great companions and she took great care of my pup. She'll be my first choice next time I need someone to watch him.”

“Janette and her family were so wonderful watching our new puppy Simon! She proactively sent updates and Simon was treated like a member of the family. We’ll definitely be repeat customers!”

“Tina was an awesome sitter! She has a huge backyard that our dog just loved and she was so sweet and accommodating! She also sent daily updates with plenty of pictures.”
“Hollie is an excellent dog sitter. This was the second time that we left our Jazzi with her and her dog Jovi for a week. She sent photos each day and I can tell she loves the dogs she sits as much as her own. Hollie is also very flexible and works with your schedule. She takes such great care of my Jazzi and I trust her with my girl.”

“We had a great experience boarding our dog on Martin’s farm. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. They were able to accommodate a last-minute booking without hesitation and kept us updated along the way, which we really appreciated. Katiya came back happy, well cared for, and completely worn out in the best way. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.”

“Our dog Ruby was extremely excited to visit Sruthi and Abha again! They are fantastic hosts and always communicate very well during the entire stay. Ruby cannot wait to go back and see them again!”

“Wendy was great with Maverick, she opened her whole house to him. She has a fenced in yard, which is great for an explorer like Maverick. He was immediately comfortable and I know he was in good hands. He chewed some of her personal items and she wasn’t bothered by it. Wendy and her husband clearly care about the dogs they care for. Wendy also sent pictures every day. Maverick didn’t want to leave.”

“Adrienne watched our fur baby Triple for the first time overnight. She was great! Triple enjoyed his stay. Thank you for taking such good care of him. I highly recommend and will definitely be using her again.”

About: Hi! I'm Vicki, and I offer overnight boarding in my home for small to medium dogs, with primary availability Friday through Monday and full-week bookings considered on a case-by-case basis. I've shared my home with dogs for over half my life and have experience caring for dogs who need medication, extra supervision, and a little extra patience. I'm comfortable giving medicine in pill, powder or liquid form, including syringe-administered liquids, though I do not administer injections. Your dog will stay in a loving, dog-friendly home with no resident pets, where they're welcome to relax on the furniture if that's part of their routine. We have pet stairs for dogs who can't or shouldn't jump, a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, and a walkable neighborhood for weather permitting walks. I work from home Fridays and Mondays and am in the office Tuesday through Thursday, so for longer stays I'm happy to discuss your dog's routine and whether they'd be comfortable with that schedule. I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog with someone else and I'll treat your pup with the same patience, care, and attention I gave my own. I work from home on Fridays and Mondays, typically from 8 am to 4 pm. I am in the office Tuesday through Thursday, so on those days I can provide morning care before 8 am and evening care when I return around 4 pm. For stays that include office days, I'll make sure your dog's routine and comfort being left alone are a good for before booking. My home has a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time, and we live in a quiet, walkable neighborhood with little traffic. In good weather, neighbors and families are often out walking so I'll always keep your dog's comfort level and leash manners in mind. I've cared for senior dogs in my home and still have many dog care supplies available, including gates, bowls, toys, beds, blankets and pet stairs. Dogs are welcome on the furniture if that's part of their routine, but I'm also happy to set up a bed or quiet space based on that they're used to at home. I do not currently have crates, so if your dog is crate trained or sleeps in a crate please plan to bring one for their stay.
“Sheryl was fantastic! My dog is so incredibly timid of new people and places but she did so wonderfully at Sheryl’s house for the week! I received updates throughout the week, which was greatly appreciated! I hope to use Sheryl again the next time we go out of town!”

“This was Susie's first stay with Dana. They have a great property for dogs and Dana knows dogs very well. I was very comfortable leaving Susie there. I believe a home is much nicer to leave your dog than a kennel and Dana has a great home to leave your dog. I highly recommend and will use Dana for sure in the future.”

“Rachel took amazing care our dog! He's a little, old dog with various issues and she made sure he was comfortable and happy. We look forward to booking with Rachel again soon.”

“This was our first time leaving our 2 dogs with a dog sitter for a week, and first time using Rover to assist us. We chose Shona who resides in the same township as us which was a plus and convenient for drop off and pickup. Shona also keep us updated with pictures and messages. My dogs seemed very happy with her which gave us great comfort knowing they were in good hands. Thank you Shona for taking great care of Zoey and Cleo for us!!!”

“Aimee and her husband took great care of Yumi. She gave constant updates! She is very friendly and sweet. Yumi loved her company! Will definitely book her again in the future!”

“Melissa was great! Very easy to book with and was able to take my pup on short notice. She was amazing with giving updates and sending photos! Will definitely book again when back in area :)”

We had a wonderful experience with Patricia. She communicated exceedingly well and often. She treated our Furbaby as her own by taking her on daily walks, applying topical medication, and accommodating her sleeping preferences. While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
