I’ve been caring for animals my whole life. Growing up in San Diego, I was an avid equestrian and spent countless hours at the barn training and caring for horses. I’ve also raised my own cat from infancy—she’s now 10 years old and thriving! Through high school, I was the go-to sitter for family friends and neighbors, providing reliable dog walking, cat sitting, and pet care of all kinds. My background gives me experience with animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a gentler touch. I’m now starting nursing school full-time here in Philadelphia, and pet sitting allows me to combine my love for animals with a flexible schedule. Madeline is BEYOND AMAZING!!! She sent so many pictures and videos of my pets that were so snuggly with her and so happy. My dog and cats have never loved anyone so much - she is incredible!! Madeline was incredibly kind and communicative. I got regular updates (with photos!) during her stay with my dog, who looked VERY happy to be in Madeline's company. Madeline took great care to learn Minna's routine before her stay, and took such good care of the house and the dog while she was here. Madeline has always been an animal lover and advocate. Ever since I can remember, Madeline’s favorite animals were cats, horses, and dogs. As her close friend since the age of five, Madeline has taken care of her aunt’s cats and others’ cats like they were her own. She is very caring, thoughtful, and energetic with animals and always makes sure their basic needs are met along with having fun, being comfortable of course, and making sure they get outside/get play. Madeline showed my own dog of 13 years a lot of love and to this day, still calls him her own. She is a very smart, affectionate, fun-loving pet caregiver and she wants nothing but the best for the animals she cares for. I would trust her with my own animals and have. She truly has a love for cats, dogs, and many other animals, as they do for her.

Schedule
I am a full-time student, so my schedule is very flexible as I am only in classes for about 2-4 hours per day. I am comfortable walking, taking public transportation, or using my car to provide pet services to you. This makes me an ideal sitter because I have a lot of extra time on my hands to spend with your fur babies!

Every single animal is different and will thrive on a different schedule, routine, or type of interaction. Some animals need high energy and lots of play time. Others just need a gentle pet and some quality time on the couch with them. To reduce as much stress and discomfort for the animal as possible from having their owners away, I will adjust every session with your pet to try to be the most similar setting/environment to how a typical day in your home looks. I have found this to be the most effective way to your pets happy and comfortable in the presence of someone who is new to them.
