About: I’ve been pet sitting dogs and cats of all kinds since I was a young teenager. I truly enjoy getting to care for pets even though I’m not quite ready for one of my own while I’m in school. I have experience with animals of all sizes and temperaments, from skilled leash walkers to the more enthusiastic ones, and I love them all the same. I am currently in medical school on various rotations. I work 15 8-hour shifts per month. Outside of that, I am extremely flexible when it comes to meeting the needs of your pets! I live alone in an apartment that is pet-friendly. The complex itself is all side walks and there are many side yards for leashed walks and outside time. Of course, I abide by the house rules of the owner if families have certain rules for their pets while in their own homes. About: I have had dogs all my life but I adopted my baby Oliver almost 5 years ago and I have devoted my life to being a dog mom since! My husband and I would love to open our home to your fur babies and Oliver would love having a friend to play with! Valerie is an outstanding pet sitter! She came out for a get-aquainted visit with Mia, and Mia took to her quickly. When we left for our trip, it did take Mia a day or two to relax and warm up, but she then was wagging her tail, getting rubs, etc. Valerie even got Mia to jump up on her human bed (which was amazing); she usually only sleeps on her dog bed, in her comfort nest, or on her spot on the couch while we are not there. We got pics and updates every day, and you could tell how happy Mia was, her ears weren't back in a guarded position and she seemed very relaxed. Valerie is very reliable, great with communication, and the house was left in the same manner in which we left it. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
