Hey there! I’ve been on Rover for about 2 years now, but I’ve been around dogs pretty much my whole life. Since I love to travel, I don’t have a pup of my own right now so Rover is my way of getting all the cuddles I’ve been missing! I work from home, so your pup won’t ever be left alone for long. I’m around for walks, potty breaks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule perfect for pups who love company or have anxiety. I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs, from playful puppies to sweet senior pups. I’m comfortable giving medication, following specific routines, and caring for dogs with anxiety. My goal is to make your dog feel like they’re at their second home and keep things as close to their normal routine as possible. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just curling up for snuggles, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and loved while you’re away! Valerie is amazing! We needed a sitter pretty last-minute for a 2 week trip and I am so glad we found her. She was super quick to reply to our inquiry, we had a meet & greet the next day and she was so good with our boy while we were gone. Our travel got a bit wonky so we ended up getting home 2 days later than anticipated, and she was great about keeping him an extra night and even brought him to our house for us. We got plenty of photos and videos, and he was clearly well-loved while we were away. I cannot recommend her enough!

Valerie exceeded the expectations we had for someone watching our puppy. She was considerate of how we care/train her, understanding of how a 4 month puppy acts, and truly out us at ease with the idea of leaving out dog with a stranger for the first time. She communicated great and sent photos and updates as often as we needed. Our puppy was returned to us clean, fed and happy
Valerie was great with our Golden, Newton. Our plans changed at the last minute so she was very flexible!
She treated our sweet senior boy like her own and had so much patience and love for him. We are so grateful!

Schedule
I work from home and my weekends are typically free as well. I don't like leaving my family dogs home alone so I'll be sure your dog is always with me while they're under my care.

I have a fenced yard. I have lots of toys for the dogs, and love taking them outside so they can play. I’ll ensure your dogs are fed, walked, and played with all on their typical schedule.
A typical day
I’ll make sure to walk your dogs to the park that’s around the corner from me. If the weathers nice we will spend lots of time outside playing. Inside we will also play games, and watch doggy TV we need to relax.
