Stephanie always goes above and beyond with my Marvin! The best 😊

Stephanie did an amazing job caring for our pups while we were away! She kept in contact and provided photos the whole stay. We came home to very happy pups.

Stephanie is fantastic! She took such good care of my dogs and was really good at communicating. I will definitely use her again!

My experience was very disappointing and super stressful. I was spending time in Nevada with elderly parents, one of whom has cancer. Worrying about my cat the whole time added an extra level of stress.  I hired Stephanie based on reviews and a good meet/greet. She was to care for my cat overnights, and he could be alone for up to 4 hours. She agreed to this in our Rover conversations, in-person, and text.   The issues started a few days before the sit when she wanted to bring her young daughter. I let her know my cat had no experience with kids but said OK. Then, less than 24 hours before the sit, she wanted to bring her boyfriend. I said no. I wasn't comfortable with anyone in the house other than her, but wanted to be cool about her daughter. She also told me that she needed to spend more time at home with her own dogs. If she'd told me any of this earlier than a few days out we could have cancelled.  Over five days, cameras and reports from neighbors indicate that she was rarely here. One night, she came by and left every light in the house on with blinds open and did not stay over. When I asked her about her time at the house she cited one reason after another why she wasn't here as we agreed. Her phone did not connect to my Wifi until the second day, which is also unusual.  The night I returned, she was supposed to stay until 8pm. It appears she left around 4, but she did not respond when I asked her. She also did not respond when I followed up after the sit.  She left an entire package of open Greenies out, and my cat (of course) gorged himself. I had shown her where they were stored during our meet/greet.  In one photo she sent, she'd given him an excessive amount of food for one feeding. His feeding amounts were clearly outlined in a one-page list I left.  Of most concern is that my cat was utterly frantic when I came home. This has never happened with any other sitter in the last three years.   There were also little things that I wouldn't mention if the pet care had been great: curtains that were falling off rods, melted cheese in the microwave, some of my stuff out that had nothing to do with caring for my cat.  I let Rover know, but they were vague about resolution.

Stephanie did a great job checking on my cats. She even discovered one of the water fountains stopped working and troubleshot it until it worked again. Now that’s service! We came home to happy, well taken care of cats.
