The trip snuck up on me and I ran out of time to prepare the house the way I had planned. Shyloh was incredibly flexible and understanding. When we picked up prescription refills for the dogs just before leaving, one was left behind and she remembered to ask about it. I felt this was incredible attention to detail and showed just how seriously she takes the responsibility of watching someone else’s pets. We tend to worry too, but she provided regular updates and was always one step ahead. Even checking to make sure we were home at the time we told her we would just in case the dogs might need her to check on them again if we had been held up. She washed their bowls, had to clean a soiled rug and absolutely left our home in better shape than we left it. We just hope that Shyloh is willing to watch our kiddos again. She was fabulous.”

I am a writer with a lifetime of pet ownership who would be honored to take care of your fur babies (and find some inspiration in the process!). I have just returned to the corporate world (it’s a fully remote role) from a traveling sabbatical writing several passion projects. My schedule is still quite flexible and my ability to travel to you quite easy. I understand maintaining your pet’s routine while you’re away is essential to minimizing their anxiety (and yours!). I have a large SUV if your dogs require transportation (like a trip to a favorite dog park or have a regularly scheduled play date or grooming appointment).

I have always locked up appropriately after check-ins and will send you an update of your pet with a photo.
