About: I provide a calm, attentive environment for dogs and cats in my pet-friendly apartment while working from home. I am capable of handling multiple dogs on walks (there’s nothing more comical than juggling multiple leashes) and caring for both cats and dogs. I was an assistant in therapy dog training and puppy training for four years (Teamworks in Raleigh), and this has provided me with cognitive and behavioral insight into dogs. I also have taken care of dogs around my neighborhood growing up. My philosophy with pets is that they make the owner feel better and vice versa. I firmly believe that regular veterinary care is essential and if you can’t afford it don’t have a pet . I recently lost my wife of 60 years and caring for a pet would fill a void ! I have been blessed to care for many dogs, a half dozen cats, fish, hamsters, 3 baby squirrels and a hedgehog at my home and in others. About: Hailing from an animal loving family, I've taken care of both dogs and cats since I was a very young child. In addition to dog walking as a business, we are involved in real estate and mental health counseling. In our free time we love being on the beach, jeep riding, riding our golf cart around, fishing, out on our boat, kayaking, or just relaxing and taking in the beautiful sunsets. We are highly experienced with over 20 years of caring for pets. I have experience with all kinds of pets from Great Danes and cats, to rabbits, birds, and snakes. I have extensive experience with a wide variety of animals. Pet Care has been my primary source of income for the past 8 years. As of writing this I am currently in Grad School getting my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as building my real estate career. Anyone that knows me will tell you that animals are a huge part of my life. I love spending time with them and being around them. It is very rewarding for me. About: Worked alongside veterinarian while I was in college. Eventually became a nurse, however never lost my love for animals. Occasionally pet sit for friends and family. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and have always been actively involved in their care back home. While in college, I’ve also helped care for pets for friends and others, including walking, feeding, and pet sitting.
