About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and small rodents. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd, whom I cared for through his senior years, and a Miniature Schnauzer/Jack Russell mix, whom I raised from a puppy. I also previously had a hedgehog named Harold for 8 years, and currently have a cat named Penelope (Nellie), who I absolutely adore and am so obsessed with. I am comfortable around even the most “difficult” pets and would love to care for your pets like my own! I have the most availability on evenings and weekends, and am typically available for major holidays as well. I know you can’t always predict when you will need pet care so I try to be available with short notice. About: I can’t remember an age where I wasn’t helping birth and raise kittens and puppies, turtles, or rodents. From having blind, toothless senior chihuahuas and senile cats…to a litter of brand new pups or kittens struggling to catch their first breath I’ve been part of it. I’ve had several rodents and reptiles, and cared for my friends and family birds as well. Trained puppies and kittens to use the potty and more. Also helped with a few farm animals too. I work only 20-25hrs a week, so I’ll always be home within 6hours or less. Outside of work, I’m home hanging out with my kids and furbabies. I have two e.s.a. Certified cats who tend to hide away when someone new is here. I’ve had them both since babies (13y & 3y). Keep things clean, organized, healthy, I had a cleaning company too. I don’t have crates on hand or an outside fence but I have a huge yard, the neighbor has a spayed female American bulldog, very friendly. There are farm animals next door. However, I do appreciate being where the pet is comfortable and knows its space.
