“Brooklyn was an absolute Rock Star. We have 2 medium dogs and 3 cats. We had to go out of town for a few days to our old home town 9.5 hrs away, up North. Bringing the pups really wasn't on the agenda. We have never had our dogs boarded before so we needed an alternative. Rover was the best choice by far for finding someone to care for our fur babies so that we could visit our family up North. Brooklyn stayed in our home and cared for our pet. She was wonderful, will be hiring her in the near future - our pets LOVED her.”

I have just returned to the corporate world (it’s a fully remote role) from a traveling sabbatical writing several passion projects. My schedule is still quite flexible and my ability to travel to you quite easy. I understand maintaining your pet’s routine while you’re away is essential to minimizing their anxiety (and yours!). I have a large SUV if your dogs require transportation (like a trip to a favorite dog park or have a regularly scheduled play date or grooming appointment).

About: I've taken care of pets since middle school. I've taken care of lizards, fish, turtles, dogs, cats, and birds. I've always been paid for my hard work and love towards making sure everything is clean within the home and that the pets are on their best behavior. I don't necessarily have a job, so I'll be able to put a lot of effort into watching your pets! About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and genuinely love caring for them. I grew up in a homeschooled household with a dog and three cats, so being hands-on with pet care was just part of everyday life. As a kid, I was known around my neighborhood for walking dogs, pet sitting, and helping out wherever I could—even mowing lawns for neighbors—so responsibility and reliability were instilled in me early on. I also spent time working on an alpaca farm, which gave me experience caring for animals with different needs and personalities. In my adult life, I regularly help care for my sister’s three dogs, and since she’s a veterinarian, I’ve learned a lot about animal behavior, health, and proper care through her. I’m also very involved with my two nephews, so patience and attentiveness come naturally to me. One of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had was caring for our family dog, Toby, in his later years. As the youngest, it became my responsibility to make sure he was comfortable, safe, and well cared for as he aged. He lived to be 16, and that experience taught me a lot about compassion, consistency, and the importance of attentive care. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I already structure my days around being consistent, active, and attentive. I’m used to building my schedule around responsibilities, so walks, feeding times, and check-ins feel like a natural part of my day rather than something extra. On a weekly basis, I regularly help care for my sister’s dogs, so I’m already in the rhythm of walking, feeding, and spending quality time with pets. I also keep a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets the time, attention, and care they need without rushing. Overall, I enjoy having pet care as part of my routine—it keeps me active, present, and doing something I genuinely enjoy. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions carefully—feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific preferences—so your pet feels safe and stress-free in their own environment. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship, not just the basics. If I’m caring for a pet in my home, I provide a clean, calm, and safe environment where they can relax. I keep a consistent schedule for feeding, walks, and bathroom breaks, and I’m always attentive to their behavior and needs. I make sure they feel included and comfortable, whether that means active play or just relaxing nearby. No matter the setting, my priority is making sure each pet feels secure, cared for, and happy while you’re away.

About: I have worked with all kinds of dogs. My first job was at a pet resort. animals are my passion, I’m 24 and I have a 5 year old pitbull mix . What sets me apart is that I am all about learning more about dogs and giving them the love and care they all deserve. If you need me to train your pups I can sure do so! I am available in the morning before I work and I usually get off around 2! Let me know what your schedule looks like and we can go from there! About: I have trained all the dogs I ever had . I fostered and dog sit . I have lots of experience. I'm an animal lover I do work. But when I'm not working I'm spitting every living minute with animals. I love my dogs and help walk my senior neighbors dogs in the morning and when I come home at night . I do live in an apartment. And though that might be questionable we do have a lovely dog park and a wonderful area to walk the dogs around.
