About: Growing up we had both dogs and cats in the house. As soon as I had an apartment that allowed dogs, I adopted my sweet and sassy pup snoopy. Over the years his mobility declined and I gained insight in how to care for an elderly pup including administering shots, and oral medication. Last year my fiancé and I adopted our sweet girl Betty. She tested us as a puppy, and provided an opportunity to learn about training a dog with a different personality from my first pup. I work as an RN Monday- Thursday and my fiancé works from home Monday- Friday. We live in a first floor apartment with a walk out patio. Our complex also has a dog park and plenty of space for long walks. We are a nonsmoking home with no children; just Betty and she is very friendly with other dogs. I recently relocated to the Cary area for work, but my new job does not start until mid October! Prior to the move, I was a full time student and working on Rover. My schedule is pretty open to care for your pets! I am familiar with different harnesses and the importance of leashing dogs when out and about. My apartment has several fenced dog areas and lots of outdoor walking space!

She clearly loves all dogs and is very attentive and in tune with their moods and actions. Her home and fenced yard were secure, safe, comfortable and very welcoming. My one concern going into this was that Maegan has small children and my dog hasn't been around many. But I expressed my unnecessary concern and learned that her kids are as professional, sensitive and loving of dogs as their parents. Five stars doesn't seem like enough!”

About: Growing up we had both dogs and cats in the house. As soon as I had an apartment that allowed dogs, I adopted my sweet and sassy pup snoopy. Over the years his mobility declined and I gained insight in how to care for an elderly pup including administering shots, and oral medication. Last year my fiancé and I adopted our sweet girl Betty. She tested us as a puppy, and provided an opportunity to learn about training a dog with a different personality from my first pup. I work as an RN Monday- Thursday and my fiancé works from home Monday- Friday. We live in a first floor apartment with a walk out patio. Our complex also has a dog park and plenty of space for long walks. We are a nonsmoking home with no children; just Betty and she is very friendly with other dogs. I recently relocated to the Cary area for work, but my new job does not start until mid October! Prior to the move, I was a full time student and working on Rover. My schedule is pretty open to care for your pets! I am familiar with different harnesses and the importance of leashing dogs when out and about. My apartment has several fenced dog areas and lots of outdoor walking space!
“Megan was so great with Bagel! Bagel is definitely a ball of anxiety sometimes and she was so chill with Megan. She sent lots of photos and bagel seemed so happy she even ran back around to say bye to Megan when we picked her up. Will definitely be reaching out again”

“Meagan and her family were wonderful with my girl, Sookie! Sookie needs to be around confident dogs and Maegan's two were exactly that. From the first moment we met, I knew that "we had a match" for my dog. All the pictures and updates from Maegan were reassuring and it was clear to see that things were going very well. She clearly loves all dogs and is very attentive and in tune with their moods and actions. Her home and fenced yard were secure, safe, comfortable and very welcoming. My one concern going into this was that Maegan has small children and my dog hasn't been around many. But I expressed my unnecessary concern and learned that her kids are as professional, sensitive and loving of dogs as their parents. Five stars doesn't seem like enough!”
“Olivia was wonderful and took such great care of Laci. She accepted the booking request pretty last minute and was very accommodating. She sent photos and a video of my dog and I felt very comfortable leaving Laci in her care. I would definitely recommend her and would use her again in the future. Laci had a great time!”

As a first time Rover user, in fact the first time ever leaving my 9-year old pup with a stranger, I was incredibly nervous about leaving my dog with someone new. He sent thoughtful updates throughout the stay with a plethora of photos, which gave me so much peace of mind, and it was obvious that my dog was being loved and well cared for. Not only is Jordan amazing, but his family is so kind and welcoming. You can truly tell they care about the dogs they watch and treat them like part of the family.
