“I’ve been trying to think of what to write in this review so that I didn’t sound like some over-the-top crazy woman. We were away for twelve days and entrusted Shayla with our Lily and with our home. I think Lily’s guardian angel led me to Rover and to Shayla as Lily is a very slow to warm-up dog. From the initial meeting until our return, Shayla was in-tune with our concerns for Lily and used her dog-whisperer skills to befriend and care for Lily. Indeed, she ended up being Lily’s second mama. Then, with her people skills, she used photos and notes to care for us. On top of all that, we came back to our home in beautiful condition. If you are fortunate enough to book Shayla for your furbaby’s needs, please know that you will have gotten the best of the best!”

About: I have worked with all types of animals since I was a child. My friends would call me the dog whisperer because I just understand them naturally! I love training dogs and horses. I currently have 3 dogs, 2 cats and a flock of ducks! All of my dogs have been raised from puppies. I have cared for senior pets as well. I have spent hundreds of hours over the last several years educating myself on animal behavior for my own pets benefits so I am well equipped to love and care for yours as well! My husband and I travel often so I know how important it can be to find petcare that you can feel good about! I currently work from home full time with a very flexible schedule. I am able to come to your house during the day or stay nights! I can offer limited boarding as well. I love animals and I love travel. “Wow, I can’t say enough about Kristen!! She has been by far our dogs favorite sitter and our family’s too. In a regular situation she is loving and diligent with the dogs and takes care of their needs. She spoils both our older dog and the little one, gives special attention and medicine as needed. When we were out of town our are experienced a very serious forest fire and evacuations were put in place. Fortunately, our neighborhood did not have to evacuate, however, Kristen took every precaution just in case our area is going to require an evacuation, including staying with our dogs and not leaving the house in case she needed to load them in her car. She packed up medicine, food, treats, collars, and leashes to make certain they were prepared and offered to get any belongings we needed. She also had our emergency contact in case she had to call someone else. She went above and beyond in this situation, and I highly recommend her services! She also kept in contact with us via text and phone calls and lots and lots of cute pictures of the pups. Really really appreciated her this weekend!”
