About: Hi! I'm a college student with a lifelong love for animals. I have a sweet cat named Penny. She’s truly the light of my life and I treat every pet I care for with the same love and attention I give her. I'm currently a student at UNCW, finishing my degree after transferring in. Even with a busy academic life, I’m committed to continuing what I love most: caring for pets! I offer dog walking, feeding, and pet sitting services—and the same care extends to cats too! I have several years of experience from working summers with a dog-walking business back in California during high school and early college. It was one of the most rewarding jobs I’ve ever had, and it taught me how to read animal behavior, stay reliable, and make every visit fun and safe. You can count on me to care for your furry family members like they’re my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s hands and I’ll make sure they’re loved, safe, and happy every step of the way. Other then being a college student I also have 2 jobs working at a doctor's office and retail. My usual schedule is Mon-Fri 8am-5pm at the doctor's office and work retail on Sundays 12pm-6pm. I usually care for the pets at the clients home given my living situation as my cat doesn't take other animal visitors too well as well as having a roommate.

About: I grew up with my current dog who was a rescue. He was a scared but aggressive dog, who turned into my best friend. I am a very fit D1 track and field athlete at UNCW which makes me an amazing dog walker for all kinds. I have lots of patients and always have cared for all animals. I have done lots of dog sitting in my hometown and always been trusted by other dog owners. I am a college athlete with a busy schedule during the week, but I often have time in the evenings to care for all pets! I would love to be a part of the dog walking community and earn some money for school. I care for my pets and others pets in whichever way the owner would like me to. Every animal is different so catering to whatever they need is most important. Making sure the pet is happy and healthy is always my number one priority. We would absolutely love to provide a vacation for your pet in our home and love on them like we would our own all while providing a worry and stress-free time for you. I am super flexible with availability and am home most of the day which allows me to adhere to any schedule or routine your pet may have. About: Because of my love for animals from a young age, I started volunteering at animal shelters at the age of 10. I have assisted numerous humane societies and adoption centers. I have also taken the responsibility of fostering dogs and cats with my mom in order to make sure they were healthy and ready to be with their new family! About: i’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 11. I really enjoyed being around animals and my goal after UNCW is to go to vet school. I also did an internship at Complete pet care my senior year of high school working with all types dogs and cats. I am also enrolled in a service dog training class at UNCW and plan to add it as a minor. I do not currently have a job, but am planning on getting a part time one for the summer. About: I have grown up around animals and am experienced taking care of puppies to senior dogs. I have spent the last couple of years learning more about what makes a dog stay healthy and happy. I understand how a pet is a member of your family or your whole world so I will treat them as such. They deserve to be cared for at the standard they would be by you and I will take that responsibility seriously. I have my own dog at home and sometimes life gets busy and I need others to help me. I enjoy doing the same for others by dropping in, walking your dog, or watching them overnight. I have a very dog friendly apartment with its own walking trail to take your pet on a walk. I also have balcony’s overlooking the trail that dogs enjoy sitting on and watching the activity outside. I do have my own dog who is crate trained but he also always wants to play with other dogs. I can keep the dogs separated in my home, or out loose depending on your preference. I have no problem sharing furniture and couches with a fur baby because their comfort is my priority.

About: I have had pets as far back as I can remember. They are family to me. I dog-sit and cat-sit for my daughter regularly. I've rescued many cats and a few dogs here and there. I'll move a turtle from the road. I let bugs out of the house. You get the idea. I work full time during the day, but I would love to help with pet care during evenings and weekends. I'm highly active, love walking dogs, and can easily build pet care into my routine outside of standard business hours. About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs for most of my life. I’ve grown up around dogs of various breeds such as GSD, collies, and golden retrievers. My childhood dog lived long enough he began developing hip issues so I am well versed in caring for dogs who have special health needs. I’ve been dog sitting for awhile now and am comfortable with staying overnight if that is something you’re interested in! I’ve also dog sat for a dog whose back legs were paralyzed and am happy to assist your pup if they struggle with issues like that! Additionally I work at a doggy daycare (with boarding services) so I am around almost every breed you could think of and am well versed in medication dispersion as well as basic care. With all that being said, I am absolutely obsessed with big dogs (even Great Danes and St Bernards:)) but I am happy to work with dogs of any size! Also I am not scared of trying to work with a dog for them to be comfortable around me if they’re skittish at first. I am in grad school full time and work 25 hours a week at my internship, but I have breaks during the day to let out the animals as needed! I am almost always fully available on weekends, I usually am working on homework, playing pickleball, or reading for fun. I have two dogs and three cats at home so caring for your pets in your home would be a necessity. I am comfortable staying overnight or visiting late at night/early in the morning depending on your wishes. I love keeping the parents updated and can promise multiple pictures per day if you’re gone for a while! I prioritize sticking as close to your usual schedule as possible for your pets so they can keep a sense of normalcy while you’re away.

My dog is my best friend, son and is spoiled rotten. To make it even more difficult to find someone that you can trust but also they are comfortable with a Rottie, she was confident and comfortable walking into a stranger house and meeting him for the first time by herself, means a lot to me. Cannot recommend Grace enough!! She took incredible care of our dog while I was out of town and my husband was at work all day. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
