About: I am a very experienced dog mum. With me, they expect plenty of exercise, affection and fun! And swimming! I am attentive to each animal’s unique needs. My son lives with me in the pool house on my property and helps me with everything, so there is always someone with our animals. Dogs absolutely love long walks on the nature trails outside my door. I work from home and have tons of flexibility. I am an early riser and consider animals part of my exercise and self care regime. My son and I walk our dog over 2 miles in the woods every day and she loves company. I live centrally, within walking distance to trails. I have a big fenced in yard and a swimming pool! My son’s pool house provides additional space for quiet time. Together we offer maximum flexibility and are highly responsible.

6. Paige D.
“Paige has animals of her own, and is a natural at being a loving pet parent. She goes above and beyond to love any animals in her presence, and gives them the care and attention they need. My dogs have extreme anxiety and are very nervous around new people, but they knew right away that Paige was a dog lover and felt immediate comfort and calmness around her! She also has extreme knowledge with all personality types of animals, and does a great job at keeping them safe. I would trust her to care for my babies any day!”
7. Jennifer C.
“Very responsive and updated me every single visit! Was very receptive to my asks for my pets and so kind even when she was visiting over the holiday! If you need anyone to watch your pets (I had cats) she is your woman! Thank you Jennifer!”

About: I prioritize building a strong bond with the dogs. I care for ensuring they feel safe, loved, and entertained during our time together! With my past experience of multiple years, caring for pets, it is my passion to make sure that they are loved and cared for! I’m employed part-time so I have free time on my hands, and spending it with animals will be a fun way to keep me busy! I enjoy being in nature and talking them on walks! I have a dog park where I currently live and also live near by many of nature trails!
12. Tiffany Y.
“Over the many years I have known Tiffany, she has always loved being around dogs and cats. She sadly lost her own two dogs over the past year and a half from old age, but I know they lived their best lives with her as their caregiver. While not ready to become a pet owner again, I know she misses having them around and would like to shower your pets with all the love and care she has while their owners are away.”

About: I have previously worked at two boarding facilities that accommodated overnight and daycare for pups! I was a kennel attendant and worked hands on with the animals including playtime, feeding and administering of medications. In college I did research with search and rescue dogs along side a professional criminologist i learned how to read dogs behavior and then encourage or redirect the animals! I currently work a flexible work schedule and am looking to add some pet care time in the up coming summer! I will be in the Wilmington area every weekend until August. I work mid morning- afternoon. I’m an early riser and night owl so your pet will be built perfectly into my existing day. There is no schedule to bizarre, we can build time slots that accommodate your pets lifestyle. Home is where the heart is and I firmly believe there’s nothing you would do for your pet that I’m not capable of mimicking. I have worked with reactive dogs and am willing to accommodate dogs whom are not fond of other animals and be diligent in making their day as “normal” as possible. For walking i always use equipment approved by clients only. I’m comfortable with the use of harnesses, muzzle, and prongs IF provided by client. I will never force an animal into the unknown without consent!
14. Jordan S.

About: I've taken care of dogs since college, when I became an in-house dog sitter for professors over breaks and holidays. I was referred to other local dog owners through professors and colleagues and stayed busy with dogsitting for years. I do have experience with older dogs with medications and recent surgeries as well as untrained dogs. I am new(ish) to the Wilmington area and am excited to keep meeting cute doggos through Rover! Cats are cool too :) I work full time M-F from about 8am-4pm. I can potentially use my lunch break to go let the dog(s) have a midday pee break as long as it’s not too far away. We live in a house with an unfenced backyard, right next to a great park and beautiful, quiet walkable neighborhood in general. I loooove going on long walks if the dog is up for that. Depending on what you’re comfortable with, I’m also open to going to parks & exploring new areas to sniff 😂

About: I grew up with dogs always being in our home which I would help take care of. I now own a sweet little border collie who I have solely taken care of for the past 3 years. I often look after my friends dogs and spent a lot of time taking care of our neighbors pets back home. I’m currently working full time. The hours change everyday which opens up my afternoons or evenings, depending on the day, for me to go on a lovely stroll with your pupper! I have a fenced in backyard and a sweet little Border collie who would love a friend to chase squirrels with! I can also crate your dog if needed.
17. Cole B.
“Cole was great and really loved on our pups when he came over for drop in visits. Our pups were very happy to see him. He followed our instructions well for our new puppy. Will definitely rebook as needed!”

About: I have had pets my entire life. As a 25 year old I have had several years of dog training. I cannot remember a time in my life when I didn’t own a dog. I love to play, run, sit, and comfort animals. I am very good with dogs of any age and weight. I am an animal lover and understand that dogs are humans best friends. Dogs deserve to be treated with the best care possible. I am very flexible and eager to work with anyone who needs help! Thank you. I am currently working full time 3rd shift. I am a full time single mom. I am very flexible. Just moved to Wilmington. Plan on getting a part time job during the week and caring for your lovely animals any weekday or weekend I have two middle aged small dogs. They are inside dogs and go outside when they please. We go on 3 walks a day and play with toys inside. My dogs have food in their bowls 24/7. I will follow any schedule or expectations given by the owner. My cats are cared for the same as my dogs.
19. Daniela L.
About: I have had pets most of my life, and have learned through personal experience how to properly care for each animal individually. Each one has their own personality. I am current a pug mommy, and I’ve taken care of my baby since she was 8 weeks old, therefore I have experience with puppies as well. I also understand that elderly dogs may need special care and attention. I’m a full time college student with a flexible schedule. I’m available Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30am-10am and after 2:15pm, Tuesdays from 2-5, Thursdays from 2-9, Fridays before 9am and after 2pm, and Saturdays and Sundays after 1pm. My pug is home while we’re out. She has the entire apartment to herself as she behaves well and is potty trained. We take her out twice in the morning, and twice in the afternoon with a walk in between. She absolutely loves other dogs, and has been socialized her entire life with small and very large dogs. She would go bonkers and be so happy to have a friend with her while my husband and I are working. We treat our puppy like the sweet little baby that she is, and I guarantee yours will get the same love and affection.
