I have worked in the veterinary field for over three years and have experience working with a variety of dogs varying in age and breeds. I also grew up with dogs and cats and currently own a 4 year old German shepherd mix. I am currently going back to school online so am home for most of the day and have a super flexible schedule to accommodate your dog and give them lots of love and attention. I understand your pet is like your baby and I will treat them like they are my own. I have personal experience training dogs basic commands using positive reinforcement and have helped family and friends with their dog. About: I have enjoyed taking care of our household pets since I was young. I have experience walking and working with dogs of various sizes. I’ve worked as a volunteer animal handler for Eagle's Den Animal Haven & Rescue, where I worked with puppies and abused animals to get them socialized, leash trained, and comfortable with people. I also have experience doing long-distance animal transport through volunteer work with Wheels4Paws and a job with New Start Animal Transport. Through all of this, I have found a passion for working with animals and I look forward to meeting you and your pup. I'm currently working part-time in the evenings. My normal start time for that job is 5:30pm. So, I'm available most days from 8:00am to 4:00pm, and late evenings after work when house/pet sitting. I try to maintain the same kind of care and routine that you have gotten your pet accustomed to. This includes sleeping arrangements, diet, feeding times, play times, and walks.

About: I have had dogs and cats growing up. I had a cat as a child and I now own 2 cats and 2 dogs. I have a 2.5 year old German Shepard and a 14 year old German Shepard mix. I have experience with small dogs and big dogs of all ages. I have watched my neighbors animals, friends, and families. I am open to spending the night and getting lots of cuddles. I am open to walking dogs as needed or just going over for a simple potty break and some cuddles. I watch many of my coworkers animals and walk them as needed on my days off. I work day shift 3 days a week at the hospital. I stack my days so I have many days off in between my 3. I also can do in house stays. I make sure my animals are always fed they are on a schedule twice a day at the same time. I always ensure that they are comfortable in their home, they have dog beds and my puppy stays in a crate to ensure her safety while I am gone. My animals always have fresh water, food and they get treats when they are being good. I will always put your animals safety first when I am out walking. My animals are always on a leash to ensure their safety and other animals. I will treat your animals as I do my own with love and care.

All four of my pets are on different prescription diets and medications, so I’m experienced in administering meds properly, sticking to feeding routines, and keeping a close eye on health and behavior changes.
