“We have had a great experience with our drop in visits from Mandy. She was able to be flexible with our schedule, and the dogs seemed so happy and well taken care of when we got back from our vacation. Thanks Mandy!”

“Catherine really went above and beyond!!! Our cat is growing to love her so much and allows her to do things that we can barely do (brush his booty/dingleberries out 😂) an amazing and truly kind person. I wouldn't trust anyone else!”

“Tiffeny was great with our big dog— very communicative and on the ball! She went out of her way to make sure he was comfortable and we really appreciated the devotion she showed.”

“I highly recommend Jo! I really appreciated that we were able to meet in advance to have Jo meet our cat, Pumpkin, and walk her through his routine, his favorite toys, etc. She immediately connected with him and with 3 cats of her own, we felt she would be a great fit. When it came time for our vacation, she was super responsive and provided regular updates throughout her visits. Pumpkin looked SO happy playing with her in the photos and we felt so much more relaxed being able to know Pumpkin was in great hands. We will definitely use Jo again!”

“Meg did a great job for me! My two cats were well taken care of and almost sad to see me come home. She sent pix and a nice update each time. No worries about the kitties while I was away!”

About: **About me** Hello pet friends! My name is Taylor and I currently live with my wife, son, two daughters, and one dog, Charlie! I work as a high school math teacher and my wife telecommutes from home. We love Charlie who is an intricate part of our family! Nothing is better than coming home and snuggling with the dog(s) on our couch! **About my home/services** We have a lovely 1800 sq. ft house with a dog that would love a companion for the day, night, or weekend! We keep our house clean except for the many dog toys which can be spread across the house while we play. We have a great outdoor area which is fully enclosed by fencing!! Great for playing fetch or just enjoying some sunshine! Between my wife and me, there will always be supervision of your pet. **About my neighborhood** We live in a culdesac which has very little traffic in a quiet neighborhood. Our backyard is our main method for dogs to use the restroom but we can always accomodate or walk dogs on leash through the neighborhood. **What to expect** Your dog can become part of our pack! We usually take our dog out to use the restroom every 3-4 hours. Charlie is a great snuggler and loves getting comfy on the couch. Additionally when feeling spunky we play fetch, tug of war, and run around the house! **Special rules or requests** Dogs must be friendly to our dog and be good with my son who is 12 and my daughters who are 8 and 3 years old. If any of this sounds unsure, this might not be the fit for staying with us...Otherwise we can't wait! My wife is always home so we can accompany dogs 24/7. We have an enclosed backyard to accommodate many bathroom breaks. We make sure to keep close watch on all our visitors! We have one dog and three kids and your dog will fit right into the pack! Whether your dog is active or likes to snuggle on the couch we are ready!
“Laura was so easy to work with and I felt reassured knowing she would be dropping in to give the boys some love and attention during a particularly long day. I look forward to working with her again!”

“Bridgette has been very reliable and has been flexible when I needed to change a booking last minute. My dog Roscoe can be very fearful at times and he liked her immediately!”

About: I’ve had a variety of pets my entire life, and love taking care of them. I have raised puppies from when they were young. I am no professional at training, but have experience training up 2 puppies of my own. I have taught them basics and some other special tricks. I have experience leash training and crate training as well. I’ve had experience dog sitting for others for 4 years. Hi! I am currently a college student who recently relocated to the Wilmington area. I make it a habit to ensure all specific pets needs are met at all times. I make a point with all of my animals to spend individual time curated specifically towards them. All of my pets follow a schedule. They know when to expect to be walked, fed, and played with. I try to bring my dog with me whenever I can but she understands that sometimes she needs to stay home for her well being.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Myrtle Grove
Catherine is such a wonderful, caring sitter! Whenever I am in need of a sitter, I always hope Catherine is available because of how comfortable my cats feel with her, and I always have peace of mind that they are in good hands with Catherine! I could not recommend her more.

Ava was wonderful and attentive to our animals. Our dog was sick and needed lots of medicine for the entire week and she made sure he got what he needed every day at the right time and was comfortable. She gave the kitty snuggles and made sure he stayed inside and was well cared for. She was a great communicator and answered all my questions and check-ins graciously. I'd highly recommend her to anyone.

We had a great experience with Bridgette! She was flexible and easy to coordinate with, and our cats instantly loved her. I joked that I might be getting replaced :) . The check-ins with comments and pictures were great and gave us peace of mind while we were away. Would definitely book with her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
