Hi, I’m Katie! I spent 10+ years working in veterinary healthcare and genuinely loved my experiences and time in the field. Since leaving the animal hospital a few years ago, I've been a full-time staff member at UNCW. I'm fortunate to be able to work remotely, so I am primarily at home and would be happy to hang out with your pet(s) here or come to you to help with drop-in care or walks. I am comfortable with specialized care requirements - behavioral needs, administering oral/intranasal or injectable medications, subcutaneous fluids, physical rehabilitation exercises, accommodations for chronic illness, etc. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

I have 1 pup, a rescue named Charles. He’s a Golden/Corgi mix who is my absolute best friend. I also have a cat named Carol who’s polite, cute, and only a little weird. :) Both are mellow, and they do well with other people and pets.

Just the best! She really cares and makes sure our dogs are all happy with every visit. You can’t go wrong with having Katie as your dog sitter/walker!
Katie is absolutely amazing!! This was the first time I had to leave my two cats (my children) without a family member to watch them. I was away for only a week, but I was incredibly worried. Katie absolved all those worries! I was able to fully enjoy my vacation knowing she was going to be there for my girls every evening (^: I received videos and pictures everyday, plus a detailed review of how my girls were doing. She was very communicative throughout the whole week, even when I was unreachable for much of the day. I forgot to take the garbage out before I left, but she took it out for me which I was greatly appreciative of!!! She even took care of my precious plants! If you’re worried about leaving your fur babies when you go away, fear not! Katie is wonderful!!

Katie is the best!! She goes above and beyond and made us feel so safe leaving our dogs in her care. I was away for a stressful/difficult reason and I had zero worries about the dogs during that time. I’m so glad we found her. I worked for Rover for a few years, so I have high expectations for a sitter, and Katie surpassed every need we had. She was very communicative and accommodating. Thank you, Katie!
