“Natalie is the best! She is so kind and loving towards our animals and always so incredibly helpful! Leaving our kitties behind for a work trip gave me a lot of anxiety but having Natalie there to check in on our babes was so helpful and eased any worries!”

“Lauren did an absolutely amazing job hanging out and walking both of our dogs while we were out for an extended time. She made a point to come meet them before which we always appreciate. Was super communicative before and during the walk/hang time. She also made sure we had great updates and pictures of her time with them.”

“Stephanie was wonderful with my pups! She took great care of them and provided trusted feedback and updates. I was happy to know they were in good hands and will definitely book with her again.”

About: Great family environment with a fenced backyard to run and play. We support families with pets in and around Wilmington, NC. We have great kids that will show your animal plenty of attention. We are very flexible on scheduling and cancellations. Your animal would not be kept outside but will be outside often on walks around the neighborhood or in the woods in the backyard. It would become apart of the family while it stays with us. We have a very disciplined schedule that caring for animals works well for. We will send pictures and daily updates as we care for your pet. Look forward to meeting you and your pet. Pet Walking, Doggy Daycare, and Drop in visits are completed by our 15 year old Daughter Isabella (Izzy) who is saving for her first car. She serves the Ogden, Porters Neck, and surrounding area. We are a family of 6 and are home most days. Brittany, myself and the children are very rarely not with your animals. If we go somewhere they go with us to the park or to run errands. They become part of the family for their time with us. We give your pet the keys to the house while they are here. They will already be stressed because their owner is gone and they are in a new place. They can go out in the fenced backyard or just relax in the house. We do a walk in the morning and evening and if you are booked on the weekend they will get to go out hiking. Some pets just like hanging out on the couch and thats ok too.
“As always Kim is amazing with “the kids”. She is so patient and provides great feedback about the visit. Darcy and Kirby truly feel comfortable with her which is amazing! I highly recommend her to pet sit anyone’s animals.”

“I can’t tell you how grateful I am to have had Sarah pet sit my cats. She followed all the instructions I gave her and every day she sent me pictures in the morning and pictures in the evening. Sarah was outstanding and I would definitely use her again. She is very responsible and competent. I had complete peace of mind on my vacation because I knew my cats were being very well taken care of . Thank you so much Sarah!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs from young to old, small to big, and healthy to sick/disabled. I’ve been looking after neighbor’s and family friend’s dogs for the past 6 years. I’ve done drop ins, hung out at the house for 24/7 attention, and stayed the night at the home. I am now available every day of the week all day, unless specified otherwise in my calendar. I will be starting a summer internship on June 23rd and I will be there on Tuesdays and Thursday from 1-5pm. I will also be out of town from July 12th through August 2nd. I treat all pets I come by with love and respect and do my best to accommodate their needs. Some clients require special instructions or have a specific way of doing things that i’m glad to follow. I want to make sure your pet is comfortable and well taken care of.
About: I’m Korin, I offer dog sitting, walking and more. As a pet parent myself (2 cats, 1 dog) I know how important is to have someone you trust caring for your animals when you are at work, traveling or cannot be home. Would love to meet and care for your pet! I have over 10 years experience caring for friends and family members dogs while out of town, or away for the day. This includes: overnight stays, walking, feeding, playing, bathing and administering medication. Can provide references upon request. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to know more! I work remotely full time from our home and I have a very flexible work schedule which allows me to walk my dog 2-3x during the day. She is able to free roam and enter and exit the backyard as she pleases. I have a large fenced in backyard that’s perfect for play. Our dog and cats sleep in our bed, but all have animal beds and their own spaces. As a puppy we crated our dog, but now she is allowed to free roam the house when we are out. Comfortable crating or free roaming depending on the dog.
About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. I’m also qualified to train emotional support animals, which has been so rewarding. I chose this as a career path because of how much I genuinely love all living things. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and give them the best care they could ask for! I own my own business, so I make my own schedule. I can tend to whatever schedule best suits the animals. I don’t have pets of my own, so that gives me even more flexibility. I always make sure I’m doing my best to care for animals, in any aspect of my life or career. I’m diligent in making sure their feeding, walking and play schedules are upheld promptly, and that their routines stay relatively in tact. This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.
“Kristin did a such a great job with our cats! She made us feel so much better about having to leave them for a trip. She’s very communicative and reliable, I highly recommend her.”

“Debbie was a lifesaver! We somewhat last minute needed a sitter for our pup and she was quick to respond to my messages. She even managed to squeeze in a visit to meet us before we left town!”

“Christa took great care of my cat while I was gone! She was very attentive, followed instructions, and made sure my cat was happy and comfortable while I was gone. I got very detailed updates and lots of pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away!”

Lauren was AMAZING with Kiwi while I was on vacation. She was extremely patient and calm which helped a lot. Kiwi turned out to be very shy and hid under the couch for a few days. Lauren was patient with her and made her feel comfortable to come out and play. I 100% recommend Lauren to take care of your pet while you’re away. She shows great care and puts your mind at ease! Also, expect the cutest photos of your pet everyday

Amazing! Very communicative, sent lots of photos and updates, and spent quality time with my cats. I felt really reassured while I was away knowing they were in good hands. Both of my cats were comfortable and well taken care of. I would definitely book again!

This was my first Rover booking ever and Marisa was absolutely wonderful with my cat while we were away for three days. She arrived punctually for every visit, followed all of our instructions carefully, and sent prompt photo updates with detailed descriptions of how things went each time she stopped by. She was professional and reassuring which made me feel totally comfortable leaving my buddy with her. I’m incredibly grateful for her help and will absolutely be booking with Marisa again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, responsive and genuinely kind sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ogden. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
