About: I have been around dogs since I was born. My parents have always had at least one dog running around the house, and I now have one myself that lives with me! Layla has gotten ne through some tough times and with that being said I know how important dogs (and cats) are in our lives. I would love to be a sitter, walker, and caregiver to anyone's furry necessity! I am a full time student! Which means that I usually have school all week! I am free after 5pm every day of the week and on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays all day! I have my 3 year old dog named Layla that is very friendly to all dogs! She is playful and loves to meet new friends! I walk her 3-4 times daily because I don't have a fenced yard. This will also be the case if I am boarding a dog! If your dog is crate trained I have a medium sized crate that they can sleep in overnight! I am open to walking as often as needed and will follow routines to a tee!

About: I love animals and have experience with pets from my time working at a vet clinic receptionist to watching cats and dogs for friends and family! Experience with senior animals and giving medications. I believe in understanding a pet's needs and responding with compassion. I currently work full time in person with a flexible schedule. I will chat with you before we commit to pet sitting to ensure my schedule works for your needs (if that's dropping in before or after my shift, over lunch for a walk, etc). I am able to hang out with your pets, drop in, or walk your pets during the day and stay overnight if needed! I currently don’t offer to have pets stay in my home.

About: Hi! I have been around pups of all temperaments my whole life. No size or breed scares me! I’ll be your right hand girl who treats your animals like they are my own I work a 9am-6pm job that is semi flexible! Ideally I could do mornings and afternoons but can do mid day drop ins if needed With me having 3 pups of my own I will only be able to do visits or walks at your home. I can take you pup places like parks/beach if you prefer!

About: Great family environment with a fenced backyard to run and play. We support families with pets in and around Wilmington, NC. We have great kids that will show your animal plenty of attention. We are very flexible on scheduling and cancellations. Your animal would not be kept outside but will be outside often on walks around the neighborhood or in the woods in the backyard. It would become apart of the family while it stays with us. We have a very disciplined schedule that caring for animals works well for. We will send pictures and daily updates as we care for your pet. Look forward to meeting you and your pet. Pet Walking, Doggy Daycare, and Drop in visits are completed by our 15 year old daughter Isabella (Izzy) who is saving for her first car. She serves the Ogden, Porters Neck, and surrounding area on Saturdays and Sundays. Brittany and I are both educators and work 7:30-3:30, Monday through Friday, from August through May. During those hours, your pet will be home alone, but they will receive plenty of love, care, and attention and will be treated as part of our family throughout their stay. Monday-Friday we do drop-off/pick-up times after 4pm and on Saturday and Sunday drop-off/pick-up can be anytime after 10:30am. If you need an early drop-off please bring your pet the night before. We give your pet the keys to the house while they are here. They will already be stressed because their owner is gone and they are in a new place. They can go out in the fenced backyard or just relax in the house. We do a walk in the evening and if you are booked on the weekend they will get to go out hiking. Some pets just like hanging out on the couch and thats ok too.

About: Animals have always been present in my life as I have always had dogs (and more!) in my home. I spent the last ten years managing a farm rescue site that allowed me to care for equine, goats, pigs, cats, ducks, chickens and more. The position allowed me to learn quite a bit about caring for the animals welfare, as well as learning about the various animal behaviors and their unique ways they communicate and live together as one big farm family. With 15+ years of animal care of all sizes, including small caged pets, I am comfortable and experienced with special needs, medication dispensing, as well as senior care. Pet care has always been the focus of my daily routine. Having personal pets as well as formally managing an equine and farm animal rescue site for ten years, caring for animals and having them accompany me through my every day life is just natural for me. Establishing trust with animals and prioritizing their safety are the elements of care that I focus on as an animal caretaker. Fenced yards and doggie doors at my home allow my dogs freedom and safety. Respecting schedules and routines when visiting clients of pets at other homes is another focus as it reduces potential stress on others pets. Pet care, allowing owner peace of mind is a top priority.

About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. I’m also qualified to train emotional support animals, which has been so rewarding. I chose this as a career path because of how much I genuinely love all living things. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and give them the best care they could ask for! I own my own business, so I make my own schedule. I can tend to whatever schedule best suits the animals. I don’t have pets of my own, so that gives me even more flexibility. I always make sure I’m doing my best to care for animals, in any aspect of my life or career. I’m diligent in making sure their feeding, walking and play schedules are upheld promptly, and that their routines stay relatively in tact. This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.

About: I have had pets as far back as I can remember. They are family to me. I dog-sit and cat-sit for my daughter regularly. I've rescued many cats and a few dogs here and there. I'll move a turtle from the road. I let bugs out of the house. You get the idea. ​I work full time during the day, but I would love to help with pet care during evenings and weekends. I'm highly active, love walking dogs, and can easily build pet care into my routine outside of standard business hours. I prefer to come to your house for pet sitting and walking but am willing to pet sit at my place if necessary. Food and water of course but I will also talk, walk, and play with them as needed.

About: I have years of experience in pet/house sitting. I've had dogs all my life and can make sure they are taken care of as if they were my own. All I ask is for you to let me know of any specifications regarding your pets! I am a new VT graduate with a degree in Public Health. I am also a full-time server looking for an extra side hustle. My schedule varies with my job so my availability will change weekly, but I can be flexible with my hours! I unfortunately cannot have pets in my complex, but I am perfectly comfortable watching at the client's home. Overnight stays will depend, just send me a message!
