About: Hello, my name is Emily, I am 20 years old and love animals :) I have 5 years of pet sitting experience, and working at Pawville for 3 years as a kennel attendant. I can help with pet walking and sitting. I can also help with adjacent tasks such as keeping an eye on the house, watering plants, collecting mail, bringing trash cans to the road, light chores (ex: vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning windows), etc. I have no issue cleaning up after pets, cleaning up accidents, throw up, litter boxes, etc. as long as the appropriate cleaning supplies are provided and available for me to use. I love cats and big dogs, and no issue with Pitbulls, they are a favorite of mine :) I’m currently a third year college student home for the summer and just looking for some part time work to earn some money before heading back, so my schedule is very flexible at the moment. I can crate pets if needed, I have no issues cleaning up after pets; including accidents, throw up, litter boxes, etc. as long as the necessary cleaning products are provided. I am alright with vacuuming, sweeping, and cleaning up dirty windows if needed.

About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life and have never met an animal who doesn’t love me! I would love to walk your dogs and treat them as if they were my own! I recently graduated from NC State University and am currently looking for a fun way to spend my summer, so my availability is endless! I would have no problem fitting in a dog walking into my schedule. I have a fenced yard and do not keep any food or ingredients where an animal could grab from. There are no harmful flowers in my home and I am aware of what dogs can and cannot ingest.

“Gabrielle dropped in on my dog Doc. I had just rescued Doc and was worried about how he would do home alone and I wasn't sure about his personality yet. I needed someone to drop in on him who was knowledgeable enough about dogs to be cautious with my new baby. Gabrielle did just that! She stopped in played with Doc and gave him so much love. She took a lot of pictures and videos of him and let me know how he was doing. She followed my directions and was respectful of my home. Now that I have had Doc for a couple of months he has shown his wild side! As a shelter pup, he didn't have much training and there were days when I felt frustrated with his behavior. I eventually reached out to Gabrielle for advice and I'm so glad I did. She was very responsive and gave me great tips and tricks that really helped! Since then, Gabrielle has continued to drop in on Doc. She helped Doc get used to walking on a leash and taught him his first commands. He knows sit, down, place, and is working on wait! Gabrielle is truly amazing and I can't recommend her enough.”

About: I’ve been loving on animals since I was little. Grew up with a cat, and now have 2 smaller dogs and a kitten that I care after! I’ve been working as a kennel technician for 2 years at a local Boarding & Daycare facility..being there has taught me to be familiar with distributing medication and prepping meals. About: I am a 23 year old animal lover servicing the Wilmington area. I have had animals from a very young age and have experience with bunnies, cats, dogs, fish, and small animals. I am very new to the Wilmington area and still in between jobs right now so my schedule is pretty flexible at the moment until I find something more stable. About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. I’m also qualified to train emotional support animals, which has been so rewarding. I chose this as a career path because of how much I genuinely love all living things. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and give them the best care they could ask for! I own my own business, so I make my own schedule. I can tend to whatever schedule best suits the animals. I don’t have pets of my own, so that gives me even more flexibility. I always make sure I’m doing my best to care for animals, in any aspect of my life or career. I’m diligent in making sure their feeding, walking and play schedules are upheld promptly, and that their routines stay relatively in tact. This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.
