Hello! 🐾 I have over 30 years of experience caring for animals and a genuine love for all creatures, big and small! My own animal family enjoys running around on 2 acres in Hampstead, NC and includes five dogs (a Boxer, 2 Bulldogs, Basset Hound, and Pug), five cats, chickens, 4 Holland Lop bunnies and 2 saltwater aquariums with fish and corals. I’m comfortable administering medications and have experience caring for new moms (both dogs and cats) and their babies. I also have experience with farm animals, including goats, pigs and horses, as well as reptiles and amphibians. My previous clients would describe me as reliable, dependable, and communicative. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to feel confident and at ease when someone else is caring for your pets. I appreciate regular updates when my own pets are in someone else’s care, so I make it a priority to keep you informed and send plenty of photo updates throughout every stay. ❤️ A quick note about communication: If you message me after 9:00 PM, I won’t receive the notification until 7:00 AM the following morning. I’ll respond as soon as I’m able! I also want to point out that I am not available for overnight stays. Thanks so much for your consideration!

I follow instructions to a “T”, and am comfortable giving medications. I also enjoy playing with your dog and taking them for walks. I am not a quick drop in and leave kind of sitter. I know that your pets miss your companionship and I try to give them that while you’re gone.

Amber was able to help us out relatively last minute. We had a new pup and needed some potty breaks for peace of mind while I traveled for work and a short vacation. Wonderful experience as always!

Schedule
I have plenty of time to play with your pets! My schedule is very open throughout the day. Late nights and early mornings are available, but I do not stay overnight.
