“Leaving Mac with Sarah and her family was a true blessing for me and Mac both! The love and acceptance of mac was unconditional love ! You can't find anyone else that gives the attention, affection and love they gave!! I love Sarah and will most definitely have her watch him again ! 💝🤗😊”

“Our pup had a great time with Gabrielle. She was easy to communicate with and was flexible with pickup and drop off. We would definitely trust her with our dog again.”

“This was our first experience being away from Lexi and we were nervous about leaving her while on vacation. Our first interaction with Ashley put us at ease. It was clear that Lexi would be well cared for and enjoy her stay. We were updated daily with pictures and an update on how she was doing. We were very happy with Ashley, Jon and their family, highly recommended them, and will be reaching out next time we have to be away from Lexi. Thank you Ashley, Jon, and your children for taking great care of Lexi while we were vacationing!”

“Tasha was a wonderful sitter! She took care of Ellie for 6 days and sent us pictures and updates everyday. We were comfortable leaving her and felt she was well taken care of. We will definitely book with Tasha if we need a sitter again!”

“Diane stood out to me because of her wonderful reviews and the fact that she had multiple repeat family's that trusted her with their dogs. This was the first time anyone would be taking care of a dog of mine outside of family or friends so I was worried to find the right person and unsure about a stranger taking care of my "child" but when I met Diane I felt so comfortable that my Phoebe was in safe hands and that she understood her needs and would care for her like a member of her own family. It's clear immediately how much Diane loves / has a passion for dogs and is a very caring / welcoming person. This was also the first time I would be away from my girl so I appreciated so much the frequent updates from Diane and that Diane took the time to understand Phoebe's personality and I felt she listened to my concerns and reassured me about anything and I knew my Phoebe was in great hands and also having such a fun time. Thank you to Diane for taking such good care of my girl and welcoming her into your home for the weekend .”

“Natalie was great! She answered all of my questions about dropping my dog off ahead of time. She was very inviting and sent pictures and updates throughout my dog’s stay. It was a joy working with Natalie, and we would definitely use her again to watch our dog.”

“Carey was an amazing sitter! She was responsive, open, and very attentive to my “Velcro-dog” that requires attention all the time. She updated me with pictures during my time away, and her whole family was very kind and loving to him. I absolutely will be booking with her in the future!”

“Our doggie was very happy at Olivia’s place. Frequent updates and photos and videos showed her playing and relaxing. SOOO much better than being stuck in a cubicle at the kennel!”

“Great sitter for our pups for a weekend out of town. Took photos and gave us updates. Huge backyard with fenced in pool to allow our dogs to play in the sun! Even accommodated a later than usual pickup after our flight got delayed. 10/10 recommend!”

“Steven and family took great care of our pup. They sent pictures everyday which was much appreciated. We felt comfortable leaving our dog there which made our vacation much more enjoyable. Will definitely use Steven again!”

“I recently used Rebecca's services for my multipoo while we were away for a week. Rebecca said he did well even though he took over all her dogs toys and spot on the sofa! She's in a good location for walks and I would definitely use her again.”

“Jennifer was wonderful keeping Cohen and Kelly. She provided regular updates both morning and at night to let me know how things were going. Would absolutely use her again.”

“Amy was great with communication and sending pics! It was very clear the dogs were well cared for. I appreciated her flexibility in terms of timing. (As we were road tripping with young children it was hard to guess exact drop off and pick up times.) If we are in the area again we will definitely book with Amy again! Thank you!”

“This was our second stay with Jordan, and I realized I never left a review after the first one. However, I definitely should have! As a first time Rover user, in fact the first time ever leaving my 9-year old pup with a stranger, I was incredibly nervous about leaving my dog with someone new. Jordan completely exceeded my expectations. He sent thoughtful updates throughout the stay with a plethora of photos, which gave me so much peace of mind, and it was obvious that my dog was being loved and well cared for. Not only is Jordan amazing, but his family is so kind and welcoming. You can truly tell they care about the dogs they watch and treat them like part of the family. Knowing my pup was safe, happy, and surrounded by so much love made all the difference. I can't thank Jordan enough for taking such great care of my dog, Lily. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and communicative, I highly recommend booking with him. We'll definitely be back!”

“Allie always keeps in contact, she is open to schedule changes . She sent me videos and pictures daily. She took such good care of my baby boy, Tucker. He wasn’t completely potty trained and she was willing to work with me. He had the best time with her and her pups. She was willing to help me in a great time of need without any questions. She is very responsive. Her home is so comfortable and as soon as I met her and her sweet pups I knew Tucker would be safe and well cared for!! Thank you Allie..”

“We’ve lived in several different states and have had a lot of pet sitters in our home. Skylar ranks at the top of that list. She was on time every day, sent updates and lots of pictures of our dog having the very best time, and is a genuinely kind person who loved our eccentric dog like her own. She gets extra praise for being one of the only people outside of our family who has been able to get our stubborn lab to wear her harness for walks and take her pills! We will definitely book Skylar again, I felt like our dog missed her when we came home!”

“Stephanie is an absolute gem and a total natural with dogs. From the moment she met Squishy, it was clear that she didn’t just see this as a job—she truly loves her with her whole heart. Beyond her obvious bond with animals, Stephanie is a pleasure to work with. She is: Kind and Considerate: She always maintains a warm, professional, and thoughtful demeanor. Incredibly Helpful: She frequently goes out of her way to assist with extra details or scheduling needs, making my life so much easier. Reliable: I never have to worry when Squishy is in her care. If you are looking for someone who is patient, communicative, and will treat your pet like a member of her own family, I cannot recommend Stephanie highly enough!”

“Natalie came by to check up on our 2 cats who are normally very shy, but they opened up to her immediately & was comfortable with her from the beginning of her first visit! I would recommend Natalie to anyone with fur babies, she’s the best!”

“Thank you so much Tessa! She did a great job taking care of my two cats and I could trust that they were in good hands. She brought in packages that came while we were gone and even left treats for both kitties even though they hid most of the time. I definitely will rebook in the future!💜”

“Olivia was a fantastic sitter for my cat! She was very responsive and took lots of great photos of her and Leo playing together :) I will definitely rebook with Olivia in the future!”

About: I grew up in a household with a dog and have since lived with two other dogs including a senior golden retriever and currently a vizsla puppy! I have worked at a kennel for two years working in both boarding and daycare for dogs! Cats are not my area of expertise but I am willing to work with them!:) I just recently graduated from NC State and am figuring out what is next for me, so I am pretty flexible!! I do serve and attend church on Sunday mornings from 8:30-12 but around this times, I am mostly free! I also do photography but typically in 30 min to an hour long sessions and can easily work around those as well! I care for pets with love and gentleness! I love to play and/or snuggle so whatever they're up for, I'm ready for it! However I can best make them comfortable, I will accommodate in order to achieve!
About: Hello, my name is Emily, I am 21 years old and love animals :) I have 5 years of pet sitting experience, and working at Pawville for 3 years as a kennel attendant. I can help with pet walking and sitting. I can also help with adjacent tasks such as keeping an eye on the house, watering plants, collecting mail, bringing trash cans to the road, light chores (ex: vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning windows), etc. I have no issue cleaning up after pets, cleaning up accidents, throw up, litter boxes, etc. as long as the appropriate cleaning supplies are provided and available for me to use. I love cats and big dogs, and no issue with Pitbulls, they are a favorite of mine :) I’m currently a third year college student home for the summer and just looking for some part time work to earn some money before heading back, so my schedule is very flexible at the moment. I can crate pets if needed, I have no issues cleaning up after pets; including accidents, throw up, litter boxes, etc. as long as the necessary cleaning products are provided. I am alright with vacuuming, sweeping, and cleaning up dirty windows if needed.

About: My parents had two cats from before I was born. They lived till I was about 14 and allowed me to become very familiar with having a cat as a pet. One was also particularly feisty so I also know how to deal with cats that are a little more on the scratchy side. Overall, I'm a big cat person and would love to watch over any paws thrown my way!
About: I provide reliable drop-in visits and energy-burning dog walks for pet owners who want peace of mind while they're away. Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, fresh water, feeding, playtime, companionship, or a long walk to work off extra energy, I'm committed to making sure they feel safe, cared for, and happy. I have personally owned and cared for dogs for more than 22 years and understand that every pet has unique needs, personalities, and routines. Through years of hands-on experience, I've learned how important consistency, patience, exercise, and positive interactions are to a dog's overall well-being. I genuinely love dogs and treat every pet in my care with the same attention and affection I give my own. I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and happy to follow your pet's specific routine and care instructions. During visits, I can provide exercise, playtime, feeding, fresh water, medication administration (if needed and instructions are provided), and plenty of love and attention. For walks, I enjoy giving dogs the physical activity and mental stimulation they need to stay healthy and content. I work full-time but have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide drop-in visits and walks during available hours. I believe pets deserve quality one-on-one attention, and I make every effort to ensure they receive the time, care, and exercise they need. My goal is to help you feel confident knowing your pet is in caring and capable hands while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I currently work from home so if your needs are during the week I can do 2 drop in’s or walk during the week. I can do anytime on the weekends. I currently have a dog that doesn’t always do well with other dogs. He has never bitten anyone but I’m not sure how he would react with another dog in the house.

“Kristin did a such a great job with our cats! She made us feel so much better about having to leave them for a trip. She’s very communicative and reliable, I highly recommend her.”

“Gabrielle dropped in on my dog Doc. I had just rescued Doc and was worried about how he would do home alone and I wasn't sure about his personality yet. I needed someone to drop in on him who was knowledgeable enough about dogs to be cautious with my new baby. Gabrielle did just that! She stopped in played with Doc and gave him so much love. She took a lot of pictures and videos of him and let me know how he was doing. She followed my directions and was respectful of my home. Now that I have had Doc for a couple of months he has shown his wild side! As a shelter pup, he didn't have much training and there were days when I felt frustrated with his behavior. I eventually reached out to Gabrielle for advice and I'm so glad I did. She was very responsive and gave me great tips and tricks that really helped! Since then, Gabrielle has continued to drop in on Doc. She helped Doc get used to walking on a leash and taught him his first commands. He knows sit, down, place, and is working on wait! Gabrielle is truly amazing and I can't recommend her enough.”

“Rebecca was a perfect sitter for our puppy. She had her dog to be a playmate for our rambunctious Jack Russell. It was very convenient to drop him off and pick up. I highly recommend her.”

About: We have been taking care of dogs since 2018! We are so enjoying it!! Hubby walks the dogs and I cuddle and play! It's a win win for your fur baby! For doggie day care we are available between 8 am and 6pm Monday through Friday. Would love long term . We do have one small dog. For boarding we are available both weekdays and weekends. We have a nice fenced-in backyard and my husband takes the dogs out for walks when possible! When that option isn't available, they have dedicated playtime in the yard.We have one dog that is not initially playful but takes a while to warm up but he does typically! I do require a meet and greet before committing and for pets to show proof of rabies shots, heartworm and flea and tic treatments. I work part time outside the home but my hubby works part time in the home so rarely are we both gone at the same time. I have a fenced in yard and my husband tries to walk our dog daily.Typically will hit the area walking trails. If necessary, he is willing to walk animals separately(older dog who can not walk as long or dogs who have health challenges)Our dog is aloof and takes a bit of time to adjust but usually does. We are attentive to this and supervise very closely until we see how things are going to be. We own both a large and small dog crate and can separate them if needed
“Our pup came home so tired from having so much fun! Really nice and accommodating. We will definitely use her again, we had peace of mind leaving our pup with her.”

About: What makes me stand out is that caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s who I am. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, and I’ve seen them in every season of life—from playful pups to gentle seniors. That foundation gives me a deep understanding of their needs, quirks, and love languages. Here are a few things I bring to the table: Specialized care for puppies & seniors: I have experience with puppy training basics (potty training, socialization, gentle commands) as well as senior care (slower walks, mobility support, extra comfort). Medical competence: I’m comfortable administering medications, monitoring health changes, and following vet instructions scrupulously. Attentive, personal care: I don’t treat your dog like a “task” — I treat them like family. I take time to learn their routines, preferences, and subtle signals. Open communication: You’ll never be in the dark. I’ll send you updates (photos, notes) and make sure you feel confident about their well-being while you’re away. Reliability & responsibility: When I commit to caring for your dog, I honor that commitment. You can count on me to be present, prompt, and fully invested in their happiness. In short: I don’t just provide a service — I provide peace of mind, with the same love and care I’d give my own dog. Hi, I’m Thomas! I moved to Wilmington from Louisiana about seven years ago with my pups, and we’ve loved every moment here! Whether we’re out exploring or just soaking up the sun in the yard, we make the most of every day. I currently have two wonderful rescues—Goose, my loyal 11-year-old Doberman, and Mattie, my playful 2-year-old pit mix. They’re not just pets; they’re family. I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your furry friends, and I’d treat yours with the same love and attention I give my own. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! My top priority is ensuring your pet's happiness, safety, and well-being. As a devoted pet owner myself, I know how important it is to have complete peace of mind while you're away. You can trust that with me, your pets will always be in great hands—loved, cared for, and treated like family!
“Faith was excellent! She watched my older girl as a last minute booking, which was so helpful! She was very attentive to what my dog needed, and sent pictures throughout her stay. I would certainly use her services again!”

About: Hi! I’m Emma — dog mom of 3, lifelong dog lover, and small-dog boarding specialist in Wilmington, NC. I have three friendly small dogs of my own (Cavaliers + a Cocker Spaniel), so your pup will always have built-in friends, supervised playtime, and a home-based environment instead of an overcrowded kennel. Taking care of dogs is just part of my everyday life! I work from home, so I’m with my dogs pretty much all day. We keep a regular routine of potty breaks, playtime, and light training throughout the day. On weekends, we love to switch things up with a hike, a beach stroll, or grabbing a pup cup at our favorite coffee spot. Whether it’s a chill day at home or an adventure, I’m always focused on making sure the dogs in my care are happy, safe, and well-loved. Located in a safe, quiet Scotts Hill neighborhood with a fully fenced backyard for playtime. I only board 1-2 dogs at a time, so your pup will always get personal attention and care. They have the option to have their own cozy suite or stay in the same room as our resident pups, both with comfy bedding, toys, and all the essentials. Please note all pets are crated when unsupervised and overnight. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog feels right at home!

About: Hi! I’m Andrew. I grew up with dogs and now care for them through Rover because I genuinely miss having one around every day. I provide a safe, clean home with a fenced yard, lots of playtime, walks, and plenty of updates while you’re away. I treat every dog like they’re my own. Im currently working 3-11pm 5 days a week. Most of the time I’m off Sundays and Mondays but my schedule does occasionally change. I have a fenced yard, an upstairs and downstairs with a doggy gate leftover from our last dog, plenty of waste bags and dog leashes and some leftover toys. It is a very comfortable clean house.

About: I offer dog walking, potty breaks, and playtime as well as house sitting. I love being outside. I have had dogs and cats all of my life and I am very responsible and compassionate. I treat all pets as if they are my family. If you have a high energy dog I can definitely handle him/her and wear him out! I can also care for cats, fish, rabbits, etc. (no snakes please!) I can bring in mail, take trash cans to and from the curb on trash days, water plants, you name it! Message me for details!! I enjoy walking dogs and letting them out to use the bathroom first thing each morning. If they require constant care I can do that or if they’re fine to do their own thing I can also leave them to that. I prefer caring for pets in the pets home. This is more comfortable for them anyways. Doggy anxiety is a real thing! And when their family is out of town, it’s best to keep them in their own comfortable environment.

“Lacey is fabulous! He is polite, patient, and flexible. He walked my 89 year old mother’s dog and handled her constantly changing requests with grace and kindness. Her old dog adapted quickly to his visits and waited by the door for him to arrive. He arrived on time for every walk, printed out the schedule for my mom who forgets things, and was just all-around wonderful. I highly recommend him and thank him for everything he has done.”

I am free after 5pm every day of the week and on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays all day! I have my 3 year old dog named Layla that is very friendly to all dogs! She is playful and loves to meet new friends! I walk her 3-4 times daily because I don't have a fenced yard. This will also be the case if I am boarding a dog! If your dog is crate trained I have a medium sized crate that they can sleep in overnight! I am open to walking as often as needed and will follow routines to a tee!
About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. I’m also qualified to train emotional support animals, which has been so rewarding. I chose this as a career path because of how much I genuinely love all living things. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and give them the best care they could ask for! I own my own business, so I make my own schedule. I can tend to whatever schedule best suits the animals. I don’t have pets of my own, so that gives me even more flexibility. I always make sure I’m doing my best to care for animals, in any aspect of my life or career. I’m diligent in making sure their feeding, walking and play schedules are upheld promptly, and that their routines stay relatively in tact. This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.
About: I've taken care of dogs for the past 7 plus years. I have two dogs of my own and do have neighbors who have had pets. I have experience walking them, feeding them playing with them and keeping them safe. I take my time with dogs and understand if they are scared. I do have a rescue myself and I understand what it takes to gain their trust and train them. I'm currently a undergrad student at UNC Chapel Hill. I am currently looking to dog sit/walk dogs within the community to help pay off my college loans. I am in class until 8:50 am MoFri, 3pm Wed and 12pm TueThur. I have two cute dogs at home, Ginger and Teddy and I tend to them when at home. We have a fenced in yard and they enjoy their 2-3 walks a day. I typically feed my dogs twice a day, in the morning and then during dinner time, they graze throughout the day. I love spending quality time with them, especially playing with them! Both my dogs have gone through training so I completely understand the training process as well.

About: What sets me apart isn't just a love for dogs — it's a lifetime of it. I raised my own dog for 13 years, through every stage of her life, and recently said goodbye to her. That experience taught me patience, attentiveness, and the kind of deep care that only comes from truly bonding with an animal. When your dog is in my hands, they're not just being watched — they're being loved. Caring for pets fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I work from home, which means dogs in my care are never left alone for long. My apartment complex has a dog park right on-site, making it easy to give pups plenty of fresh air, exercise, and socialization throughout the day. Having raised my own dog for 13 years, structure and daily care come naturally to me. I treat every pet in my care as my own. My home is a calm, safe, and loving environment. I pay close attention to each dog's individual personality and needs, and I always keep owners updated with regular check-ins. After 13 years of raising my own dog, I know how important trust and communication are for pet owners leaving their fur baby in someone else's hands.
“Banjo absolutely loves and waits for Nicole to open the door and take him on a walk. He knows her name before she ever comes which tells me that he’s very excited about the treatment that she does in making him feel comfortable on his walks. what a peaceful feeling for a dog owner to know that their dog is that well taken care of.”

I do serve and attend church on Sunday mornings from 8:30-12 but around this times, I am mostly free! I also do photography but typically in 30 min to an hour long sessions and can easily work around those as well! I care for pets with love and gentleness! About: With over 10 years of pet sitting experience—both in clients’ homes and in my own—I’ve had the joy of caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I also have hands-on experience with dog walking and truly enjoy getting to know each pup’s unique needs and quirks. My love for dogs started with my childhood cocker spaniel, who lived a happy 14 years and taught me just how deep the bond between human and dog can be. Since then, caring for dogs has never just been a job—it’s something I genuinely love. What sets me apart is my focus on your dog’s comfort. Whether that means extra playtime, long walks, or just quiet snuggles on the couch, I tailor each visit to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week. I’m an early riser and a night owl, so I have lots of time each day to give your pup the attention they need—whether that’s walks, playtime, or couch snuggles. We also have a sweet, friendly dog Kenzie, who absolutely loves other dogs. She’s very well-socialized and would be a great companion for your pup during their stay. Kenzie is the only dog in our home, so she’s always excited to have a new buddy to hang out with! She’s super friendly and loves having a playmate around to keep her company. I offer boarding Friday through Sunday, and I'm available for pet sitting and dog walking any day of the week. Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority! In our home, your pup will be treated like one of our own—basically, like a spoiled baby with paws! We’re all about love, belly rubs, and making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and totally at home. At our home, we have space for a crate if needed and offer a cozy, calm environment. We’re lucky to have access to a large, fully fenced-in dog park right on our property that features agility equipment, shaded areas, and 24/7 water access—perfect for playtime and exercise! Whether it’s snuggles on the couch, structured outdoor time, or sticking to a feeding and potty schedule, we tailor our care to meet each dog’s needs and personality.

“Very attentive. Our old girl gave him a pretty rough first night. He took great care of her despite her being the messiest girl in the room. I would definitely recommend to take care of your furry friends.”

“There aren't enough good things to say about Andy. I very rarely board my dog, but after a week with him she might as well have been with me. He took peach in like a dog of his own and I wouldn't hesitate to give him a call! If give 6 stars if I could!”
