About: I have been around dogs since I was born. My parents have always had at least one dog running around the house, and I now have one myself that lives with me! Layla has gotten me through some tough times and with that being said I know how important dogs (and cats) are in our lives. I would love to be a sitter, walker, and caregiver to anyone's furry necessity! I am a full time student! Which means that I usually have school all week! I am free after 5pm every day of the week and on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays all day! I have my 3 year old dog named Layla that is very friendly to all dogs! She is playful and loves to meet new friends! I walk her 3-4 times daily because I don't have a fenced yard. This will also be the case if I am boarding a dog! If your dog is crate trained I have a medium sized crate that they can sleep in overnight! I am open to walking as often as needed and will follow routines to a tee! I also live with my boyfriend as a heads up! He is lovely pet owner and loves my girl like she is his own!

About: I grew up in a household with a dog and have since lived with two other dogs including a senior golden retriever and currently a vizsla puppy! I have worked at a kennel for two years working in both boarding and daycare for dogs! Cats are not my area of expertise but I am willing to work with them!:) I just recently graduated from NC State and am figuring out what is next for me, so I am pretty flexible!! I do serve and attend church on Sunday mornings from 8:30-12 but around this times, I am mostly free! I also do photography but typically in 30 min to an hour long sessions and can easily work around those as well! I care for pets with love and gentleness! I love to play and/or snuggle so whatever they're up for, I'm ready for it! However I can best make them comfortable, I will accommodate in order to achieve!

About: I have years of experience taking care of our own cats and dogs (we only have one dog now), as well our friend's animals when needed. I have just returned to working from home so I will be home a lot throughout the day to take care of your animals! I will be available all days of the week as well. I have a medium sized dog that would love to play with yours and he is also good with cats. I also have a large fenced in yard so there is plenty of room to play outside.

About: I am a 23 year old animal lover servicing the Wilmington area. I have had animals from a very young age and have experience with bunnies, cats, dogs, fish, and small animals. I am very new to the Wilmington area and still in between jobs right now so my schedule is pretty flexible at the moment until I find something more stable. I take pride in caring for animals through my entire life. I have had my own animals since the day I was born, and often watch family friends and neighbors animals. I have lots of experience when it comes to animals as I have a large number of pets myself.

The beginning of my work with dogs started in a boarding facility where I learned about administration of oral and injectable medication. About: Animals have always been present in my life as I have always had dogs (and more!) in my home. I spent the last ten years managing a farm rescue site that allowed me to care for equine, goats, pigs, cats, ducks, chickens and more. The position allowed me to learn quite a bit about caring for the animals welfare, as well as learning about the various animal behaviors and their unique ways they communicate and live together as one big farm family. With 15+ years of animal care of all sizes, including small caged pets, I am comfortable and experienced with special needs, medication dispensing, as well as senior care. Pet care has always been the focus of my daily routine. Having personal pets as well as formally managing an equine and farm animal rescue site for ten years, caring for animals and having them accompany me through my every day life is just natural for me. Establishing trust with animals and prioritizing their safety are the elements of care that I focus on as an animal caretaker. Fenced yards and doggie doors at my home allow my dogs freedom and safety. Respecting schedules and routines when visiting clients of pets at other homes is another focus as it reduces potential stress on others pets. Pet care, allowing owner peace of mind is a top priority.

“I would give her 10 stars if I could. Alissa had two visits with our furballs back in August and things went well so we decided to book her for a week we were out of state on vacation. She had full access to our house and the furballs for the 7 days we were gone. She arrived as scheduled twice a day on time, played with the boys, took them out to potty, fed them, changed their water, gave them treats and tidied up after them. She kept the lines of communication open and even asisted when one of our puppy-cams had technical issues. We came home to two healthy, happy, well cared for pups and a house exactly as we had left it. We could not be more pleased and will definitely be rebooking her again in the future.”

About: I have been training dogs for 35 years and boarding for the same! Ready to expand and open my doors to new friends and their pets I have a set up at my house perfect for boarding and training, I am available any time and any day, willing to work around my clients schedules as needed! My backyard features multiple fenced in dog areas that each is equipped to suit their individual needs. I also have air conditioned rooms for when they come inside into their crates, as well as a dedicated place to wash them.

About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. I’m also qualified to train emotional support animals, which has been so rewarding. I chose this as a career path because of how much I genuinely love all living things. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and give them the best care they could ask for! I own my own business, so I make my own schedule. I can tend to whatever schedule best suits the animals. I don’t have pets of my own, so that gives me even more flexibility. I always make sure I’m doing my best to care for animals, in any aspect of my life or career. I’m diligent in making sure their feeding, walking and play schedules are upheld promptly, and that their routines stay relatively in tact. This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.

About: I can’t remember an age where I wasn’t helping birth and raise kittens and puppies, turtles, or rodents. From having blind, toothless senior chihuahuas and senile cats…to a litter of brand new pups or kittens struggling to catch their first breath I’ve been part of it. I’ve had several rodents and reptiles, and cared for my friends and family birds as well. Trained puppies and kittens to use the potty and more. Also helped with a few farm animals too. I work only 20-25hrs a week, so I’ll always be home within 6hours or less. Outside of work, I’m home hanging out with my kids and furbabies. I have two e.s.a. Certified cats who tend to hide away when someone new is here. I’ve had them both since babies (13y & 3y). Keep things clean, organized, healthy, I had a cleaning company too. I don’t have crates on hand or an outside fence but I have a huge yard, the neighbor has a spayed female American bulldog, very friendly. There are farm animals next door. However, I do appreciate being where the pet is comfortable and knows its space.

About: I have taken care of many breeds of dogs to include small and large breeds. I’m available for housesitting as well as drop in visits and walks on short notice.I’m excited to get your baby out and get them some exercise. I am currently laid off and have open availability. I would love the opportunity to help with your babies needs while you’re on vacation or just for a walk. I care for my two pets in my home every day. I am a trustworthy individual who loves animals. About: Hi! I have been around pups of all temperaments my whole life. No size or breed scares me! I’ll be your right hand girl who treats your animals like they are my own I work a 9am-6pm job that is semi flexible! Ideally I could do mornings and afternoons but can do mid day drop ins if needed With me having 3 pups of my own I will only be able to do visits or walks at your home. I can take you pup places like parks/beach if you prefer!

About: pet owner of senior cat and dog (unfortunately, the cat passed away in her sleep in December of last year). taking good care of pets of neighbour if they needed. I'm currently working part-time for UPS, so I am available to play with your pups after 2pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. the neighbourhood is safe. and there is a secured backyard in the house for pups to play and excerciseand also I could crate them if needed.
