I am able to handle dog walking, cleaning a litter box, and maintaining a consistent meal time schedule. All while making sure to get a healthy amount of play time in. About: Hi there! I'm a former veterinary technician who spent years working hands-on with animals. While I loved the work, the field could be a bit emotionally heavy at times—so I decided to step back and find a happier, more balanced way to stay close to the animals I adore. That’s what brought me to dog walking and drop-in visits! I truly enjoy long walks and runs with my own dogs, so if you have an active pup who needs a good workout, I’ve got you covered. I share my home with two big dogs and two cats, so I’m very comfortable with pets of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. All of my animals have special diets and unique needs, so I’m extra careful and experienced when it comes to following feeding instructions, administering medications, or keeping routines just right. Your pets will be treated like family—because that’s exactly how I see them. I'm an aspiring actress and also work as a bartender, which gives me a flexible schedule. I typically work Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7 PM to close, and Fridays and Saturdays from 12 PM to 7 PM. While I have other commitments throughout the week, I’m great at managing my time and can usually adjust my schedule to make room when needed. I take the care of animals very seriously—both in my home and in my clients’ homes. My own pets have taught me how important it is to be attentive, patient, and detail-oriented. I have two big dogs and two cats, all of whom have special needs. I have experience with both more reactive and friendly breeds and have no preference on the kinds I work with. I use patience and understanding to make them feel safe. I worked professionally as a dog walker and pet sitter for two years to multiple dogs and can bring love and affection to any animals in my care. I am responsible, punctual and a great communicator and can be an asset in caring for your dog or other animals while you are away or on a regular basis for walks. I work 4 nights a week from 3pm-11pm downtown. I am not opposed to early morning visits or late nights visits if required and am available for overnights. I do a walkthrough with owners of exact locations for all your pets, learn their quirks, the things they love and don’t like and what might come up during my stay with them. About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. I’m also qualified to train emotional support animals, which has been so rewarding. I chose this as a career path because of how much I genuinely love all living things. I don’t have pets of my own, so that gives me even more flexibility. I always make sure I’m doing my best to care for animals, in any aspect of my life or career. I’m diligent in making sure their feeding, walking and play schedules are upheld promptly, and that their routines stay relatively in tact. This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.

About: I have experience with Elderly dogs as well as puppies. I have some experience with training and am able to assist with simple commands like sit, stay, and heel. I have experience with reactive dogs as I used to have one of my own, and am very good at soothing stressed animals and keeping them under control. All types of pets are welcome. I live in a more rural area of Wilmington and have a large fence surrounding my house. Most days, my schedule is very flexible and open, and I am able to give my full attention to the pets staying with me. I am a very diligent caretaker, always keeping an eye on the pet and taking time to determine what they need when they express distress. I am very active and love being in nature, so I am happy to take as many walks as might be necessary, go to the park, or even go swimming!
