Hello! I am a UNCW Biology graduate that has always held a strong passion for animals. My coursework has included a four-course certificate program centered around public access training service dogs. After earning my certificate, I spent 2 more years volunteering with the dogs and puppies and earned an additional certificate in puppy development. I've grown up with dachshunds and currently own a 6-year old chow mix named Kyra and a 2-year old dachshund named Scully. On walks, I use an app which both tracks the time and distance traveled, but also donates a small amount of money to a selected animal organization depending on the duration and distance. Growing up, I had the opportunity to pet-sit and walk for several neighborhood families over summer break and have loved pet care ever since. I look forward to sharing great experiences with pups of all shapes and personalities! Besides dogs, I am also a cat lover and I have experience with several types of exotics, including small mammals, small reptiles, and small birds. I am also a pet photographer and a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator!
