About: Hi, I’m Christa! I’m 34 years old and have hands on experience caring for a wide variety of animals, from dogs and cats to rabbits, ducks, chickens, goats, and horses. I grew up surrounded by pets and have always felt at home with all types of animals. I pet-sat on Rover a few times in 2015, but got busy with work and school and unfortunately had to give it up. I now work from home on my own schedule, and recently purchased my own home with a large fenced in yard, so I'm giving it another shot! I have two lab mixes: Bear (13 years) and Goose (9 months). My dogs are well-socialized and typically get along great with other pups! I also have two house cats, Meera and Jojen, and have about 9 stray cats that I care for and am currently working on getting spayed/neutered. I also have a degree in biology, where I took several animal focused courses that deepened my understanding of animal behavior, health, and care. This background helps me provide thoughtful, informed, and attentive care for all kinds of pets! Thanks for stopping by, I’d love the opportunity to care for your pet like one of my own! Since I work remotely on my own schedule training AI models, I’m home most of the day and can easily give your pet the attention, companionship, and care they deserve. In my home, I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment where pets can relax and feel at home. I stick to their usual routines for feeding, play, and rest, and offer plenty of attention, supervision, and affection. I do slow introductions with my own pets to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible.

About: Hi! My name is Ashton and I have 7 years experience in check-in pet care for dogs and cats. Growing up on a farm, I was always been around animals but my love for animals grew even more when I adopted my soul cat, Biscuit. If I could have an house full of pets I would, but unfortunately due to Biscuits medical issues, he requires being the only animal in the house. This is why I love pet sitting so much!! It allows me to love on so many different fur babies! I have experience with all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I can also provide extra patience/attention to animals who may be shy/nervous or may have anxiety (social, separation, storm, etc.) I am knowledgeable on specific special needs such as dietary restrictions and medication administration. As a pet owner myself, I love to provide owners a peace of mind while away from their fur babies, as well as provide reliable care and love to their pet! Can provide excellent references! Can’t wait to love on your fur babies! I currently work from home full time during the week. With my ability to work remotely, I am available during the day, as well as afternoons. Also, have open availability on the weekends. Not providing care in my home at the moment. Only available for care at the owners home due to already having a pet in the home

About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. I’m also qualified to train emotional support animals, which has been so rewarding. I chose this as a career path because of how much I genuinely love all living things. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and give them the best care they could ask for! I own my own business, so I make my own schedule. I can tend to whatever schedule best suits the animals. I don’t have pets of my own, so that gives me even more flexibility. I always make sure I’m doing my best to care for animals, in any aspect of my life or career. I’m diligent in making sure their feeding, walking and play schedules are upheld promptly, and that their routines stay relatively in tact. This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.

About: Hi, thanks for taking a look at my profile! I go by Steph or Stephanie (she/her). I have over 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine, with a background in small animal general practice, referral, emergency, and exotic care. I also have 4 years of experience in box turtle rehabilitation, along with hands-on experience caring for local wildlife species in a veterinary setting. Outside of work, I’ve been pet sitting for family, friends, and coworkers for years. I also care for horses and barn sit for a small herd, which has given me experience managing multiple animals and keeping up with their daily routines. Over time, I’ve gotten really comfortable reading animal behavior in different situations—especially picking up on stress or subtle changes and adjusting my approach to help animals feel more at ease. My goal is simple: to provide safe, compassionate, and reliable care for your pets, and to treat them the way I would my own. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine. I’m available weekday mornings and afternoons, which works well for walks and drop-ins. I build my schedule to make sure each pet gets consistent, unhurried attention and care. I tailor my care to each pet and follow your routines as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. In your home, I stick to their normal schedule for feeding, walks, medications, and enrichment while keeping things clean and low-stress. I also pay close attention to behavior and overall comfort, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos. If your pet enjoys more activity, I’m always happy to bring some fun and excitement into our time together too—whether that’s playtime, longer walks, or extra engagement.

About: As a U.S. Navy veteran, retired NYPD officer, and experienced dog trainer, I bring professionalism, reliability, and genuine care to every aspect of my dog sitting services. My background includes years of training seeing eye dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, where I gained a deep understanding of canine behavior, structure, and trust. That same discipline and compassion guide the way I care for each dog—providing a safe, structured, and loving environment while you’re away. You can count on me to treat your pet with the same dedication and respect that have defined my entire career. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I am retired and able to dedicate my full time and attention to the dogs I look after. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s what I love. My days are centered around walks, playtime, training, and making sure each dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. After years of structured service as a Navy veteran and NYPD officer, I truly enjoy spending my days providing dependable, compassionate care to pets and peace of mind to their owners. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, structured, and loving environment that keeps each animal comfortable and secure. I follow the owner’s routine as closely as possible—maintaining consistent feeding times, exercise schedules, and any training or medication needs. With my background training seeing eye dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, I understand how important consistency and trust are for animals. I provide plenty of attention, supervised play, and affection, ensuring every pet feels at ease while their owner is away. As a retired police officer and Navy veteran, reliability and accountability are second nature to me, and I treat every home and pet with the utmost respect and care.

About: I want to be a veterinarian, I’ve known that since I was a little girl. I am available whenever needed throughout the week. I’m more than happy to spend the night with your dog(s). I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and love meeting and playing with new furry friends. If given the chance to care for your pet I will treat them like one of my own. To me and my family dogs and cats aren’t just pets, they’re family, and I’d love to add more to it. I am a full-time manager at one of the local fast food restaurants. My schedule varies, but it’s very flexible to meet your pets needs. Besides sticking into the schedule given to me I will usually do whatever your pet asks me to do as long as they’re within your parameters. I’ve had some very demanding clients in the past so having a strong willed pet is not new to me.

I'd give Ashton six stars if I could. Fiona agrees. She is kind, thoughtful, and great with animals. We were visiting town for a wedding and couldn't find a dog sitter at home. So Fiona was coming with us! But she has horrible separation anxiety, so leaving her alone while we went to the rehearsal dinner and wedding. I found Ashton's profile and just knew Fiona would like her. We made the arrangements months before our trip. The day we arrived in Wilmington, Ashton met us at the house for an intro. I was so grateful that Fiona was able to meet her before we left them alone for the evening. And, as suspected, Fiona warmed up to Ashton pretty quickly. The two had two lovely, quiet evenings together (based on the photos) and I got to enjoy the wedding events without worrying about my dog. I truly can not recommend her enough. She will take great care of your pet and give you peace of mind.
