About: I've been an animal lover for all of my life, and grew up with pets of all kinds. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all life stages, as well as other animals like guinea pigs, chickens, and more. I currently have a very flexible schedule so I am available to give my full attention to your pets for whatever they need, be that walks, play time, baths, or just lots of cuddles! I am available 6am- 10pm most days, and available on Wednesdays and Fridays 6am- 5pm. While caring for your pet, safety is my top priority, so I like to limit interactions with other animals that I am unfamiliar with how they interact, and keep the pets environment clean and safe. Additionally, I like to maintain your pets regular routine and stay attuned to their needs, weather it be feeding, brushing, exercise, companionship, or whatever else may arise, to keep your furry friend happy and your mind at ease while you are away.
About: I’ve taken care of neighbors dogs for years! I have three chihuahuas and a german shepard hound dog mix! What sets me apart is my dedication to anything I do. I can promise a safe and caring environment for your best friends! As well as someone who truly cares about giving people the best service possible. I am in school and work part time! However even if my availability doesn’t align with your needs, I might still be available! Due to Rover settings I cannot put in hourly settings, but I am available certain times that I cannot put in the app. I am currently looking for a part time job while I am enrolled in school, and want to do something I love as well ! I have a fenced in backyard, as well as a doggy door so they can have access 24/7! Additionally I have a large neighborhood to take any fur baby’s on walks.
About: ABOUT ME: Called a cat whisperer with a magnet for any animals in need, I’m a retired teacher who has helped save various types of animals from the streets & my yards all my life & amaze many with pet bonding & relative cat obedience but adore all animal types. Many pets warm up to me fairly quickly that never socialize much and fear most people. I usually quickly gain various animals’ trust, love, loyalty, & affection & am great with most, especially cats & dogs. SOME EXTRAS & BONUSES: As a trustworthy house-sitter who knows what having one can be like in my own house, I’ll also take in your mail/packages & water your plants if requested (at no extra charge unless heavy packages & enough plants for a mini-jungle). COMFORT: Your pets will be as safe & comfortable as possible when with me & I'll spend ample agreeable amounts of time with them up to several hours if housesitting so long as I feel the same at your place. However, I WON’T likely stay overnight — unless maybe feeling miraculously 1k% safe & awestruck by your home. HOLISTIC PET CARE: I’ve learned a ton of priceless gems applying ongoing holistic pet care multiple times for cats & dogs, if interested. I’ve shared my house & yard with countless rescued cats & what has now been 2 rescued dogs. SCHEDULE: I'm the sole caretaker of my mother who's currently in hospice care & I have 8 pets to care for also. You'll likely be pleased with the time & care given to your pet(s) unless they conflict with info. below: If accepted after meet & greet, I’ll come up to twice per day for sitting. I’ll bring any dog(s) outside or for walks up to twice per visit, if requested, especially for puppies. I “may” have sufficient ability otherwise but much prefer early mornings & before dark any day & time of week. If needed in late mornings, evenings, or night, the schedule may be a conflict, especially if you’re further than 10 miles from where I am. If GPS shows YOUR HOME MORE THAN 15 MILES from mine before our meet & greet, let’s discuss fair & agreeable extra convenience fee for time & gas I’ll be commuting that day & possibly throughout the job, especially if I’m working otherwise then. Extra pay must be negotiated IF I MUST PAY for PARKING &/or YOU’RE NOT IN A HOME WITH AMPLE EASE & AVAILABILITY of PARKING such as your own private driveway, lots of spots on your block/road near entrance, or it otherwise takes several minutes to get from my car into your home. HOUSESITTING: Considering safety, my mother's condition, my own multiple pets (including spoiled dog 🐶), & that I may be working remotely or not, AN AGREED UPON MINIMUM # of HOURS P/DAY is the MOST I’LL LIKELY DO vs. OVERNIGHT housesitting. I’ll hopefully break my own dog’s separation anxiety soon but still must balance those needs with your pet(s). If I do consider being there overnight house sitting for you at some later time, “please consider possibility” of my small 14 lb shih tzu dog coming leashed & with a carrier, if preferred, to stay with me if there’s a room or place (that doesn’t have hardwood or a rug) to keep him separated from your pet(s). Yes his spoiled butt has occasionally had tantrums that include relieving himself on the floor or carpet on occasion when mad at me (usually only for leaving him) but if not another available room like a bathroom, I’ll keep him in his carrier during the likely 2-4+ hrs housesitting p/visit or day so your pet(s) & he should be fine. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST SITTING OF ANY TYPE OF DOG OR PET WITH A HISTORY OF AGGRESSION, INDIVIDUALLY or AS A BREED: This includes pitties, rotties, Shepards, Dobermins, & cats that have shown aggression towards any person or people. I know it may be based mainly on how they were treated while growing up…but I like living & have many others depending on me to make it home. Call me chicken 🐓 all you want but: I’m unwilling to work in isolated homes (considered too far/blocked from viewpoint of neighbors/roads + too close to wooded areas). For safety & privacy, I may be willing when able, to stay for a minimum agreed upon amount of hrs. but not overnight unless the unlikely event I feel VERY safe, cozy, comfortable, & secure in doing so. I must be able to trust that I will be protected in private moments as well & don't mind spending hours daily in a decent home for house sitting under those conditions but must feel that my mom, pets, & I are fully comfortable & safe for overnight stays (which’ll likely have .1% chance of happening 😅). We can discuss this further & some things mentioned may have changed since time of posting but THERE MUST BE SECURE, WORKING LATCHES on exit doors or you agree I may bring my own + LOCKS ON ALL ENTRANCES, including window locks. PROVIDE THE # TO YOUR SECURITY, FRONT DESK, LANDLORD, &/or SUPERINTENDENT, IF APPLICABLE, in case of emergency 🆘. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE ELSE SHOULD HAVE KEYS THAT CAN ENTER WHILE YOU’RE AWAY!!! During meet & greet, please show me where applicable fire extinguishers & any other life saving devices such as escape ladders from upper floors are just to be on the safe side. Yup. Horror movies & bad experiences galore…! 🤷🏽♀️

About: I have a 5 year old husky and pitbull mixed dog named xena as well as a 9 year Old cat named Lilly! I was raised around animals (dogs and cats) we would take litters and rehabilitate them until they were ready to go to their forever homes and we would also rescue cats and dogs and rehabilitate them as well! I am looking to be a full time pet care provider! I only have to take care of my dog as well! I look forward to giving you all the assistance and helping as much as I can! I will ask what your preferences are like times they need to go out or feeding times and keep them plenty of company on my visits and make sure they are greatly taken care of.
About: I want to be a veterinarian, I’ve known that since I was a little girl. I am available whenever needed throughout the week. I’m more than happy to spend the night with your dog(s). I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and love meeting and playing with new furry friends. If given the chance to care for your pet I will treat them like one of my own. To me and my family dogs and cats aren’t just pets, they’re family, and I’d love to add more to it. I am a full-time manager at one of the local fast food restaurants. My schedule varies, but it’s very flexible to meet your pets needs. Besides sticking into the schedule given to me I will usually do whatever your pet asks me to do as long as they’re within your parameters. I’ve had some very demanding clients in the past so having a strong willed pet is not new to me.
About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. I’m also qualified to train emotional support animals, which has been so rewarding. I chose this as a career path because of how much I genuinely love all living things. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and give them the best care they could ask for! I own my own business, so I make my own schedule. I can tend to whatever schedule best suits the animals. I don’t have pets of my own, so that gives me even more flexibility. I always make sure I’m doing my best to care for animals, in any aspect of my life or career. I’m diligent in making sure their feeding, walking and play schedules are upheld promptly, and that their routines stay relatively in tact. This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.
About: I have experience with Elderly dogs as well as puppies. I have some experience with training and am able to assist with simple commands like sit, stay, and heel. I have experience with reactive dogs as I used to have one of my own, and am very good at soothing stressed animals and keeping them under control. All types of pets are welcome. I live in a more rural area of Wilmington and have a large fence surrounding my house. Most days, my schedule is very flexible and open, and I am able to give my full attention to the pets staying with me. I am a very diligent caretaker, always keeping an eye on the pet and taking time to determine what they need when they express distress. I am very active and love being in nature, so I am happy to take as many walks as might be necessary, go to the park, or even go swimming!

About: I have had dogs and cats for over 15 years and have pet sit many times. I have experienced with puppies as I have fostered them in the past. Thank you for your consideration, I would love to assist you. I have a very open and flexible schedule! I am able to attend to any days and times that best fit your schedule. I am hoping to do this part-time and do not have another job that conflicts. I usually take notes during our introductory meeting or appreciate notes with directions as well. I have always locked up appropriately after check-ins and will send you an update of your pet with a photo.
About: Growing up I had a goldfsh, a guinea pig named Peanut and finally after a lot of begging a beautiful rescue border collie mix named Phoebe. While as a teenager I didn't always understand the responsibility and caring of a dog , however Phoebe always loved me, even when she was diagnosed with cancer and not having some good days. Every time I came home there she was so happy to see me. It was then I realized there is no love like a dogs love. Years have passed and so has Phoebe but she was my first dog and I will always cherish that. I now have two golden retriever fur babies. I adore them and love taking care of them even though they really take care of me. I love all dogs and being active so dog walking feels like a great fit! I'm available Monday- Friday's from 6:00am to 7:00am and anytime after 5:00 pm for walks and any time Until 4:00pm on Saturdays. Sundays are flexible and can work with a schedule. Right now I will not be boarding any dogs or house sitting. As far a dog walking I am very punctual, great with meeting and learning new dogs behaviors, I also live at Carolina beach so if they would like to walk on the beach we can definitely do that.
About: I don't have any kids yet so all my love goes to my fur babies! I know how it can be when you are leaving town though and need someone to trust. I've had animals all my life and currently have two cats and a yorkie whom I adore and are always loving other animals! My brother lives nearby so he watches mine for me but I know we aren't always so fortunate to have family nearby. I'm used to taking care of animals of all sorts daily! So just give me a ring if you need a hand! I don’t have a day time job. My animals and I have a routine down. I work from home so super convenient and good for sitting/flexibility. I have a huge beautiful back yard that is fenced in. Super blessed to have found that downtown! Great for doggies to run around. My house is a decent size for fur babies to roam too.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 8. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, play, and feed their pets. I have a year experience at a doggy daycare facility where I was trained to handle dogs of all different behaviors and sizes. I have a little bit of experience bathing dogs as well. I am an online college student so I can do my college whenever and wherever I’m located. I have open availability for the most part but I will be taking vacations in the future. I can take boarding dogs if needed as I am home full-time. It is currently just my boyfriend and I living together in a 2 bedroom apartment. By not having a yard due to living in an apartment, for fun simulation, I will take your dog to parks to walk/run/play. I also have lots of mind stimulating toys here at my apartment so we will always find a way to play and spend time together! When the summer gets warmer, if you allow, I can take your pup to the beach for some fun! While at your house, I will always make sure your dog is safe by checking to see if there’s any holes in fences or if I need to shut a gate that was opened. I will gladly water plants, pick up poop in your yard and bring your mail in for you as well.
About: I have a dog service business called Furry Up & Walk. I have many years of experience handling and training dogs and treat all of the pups like my own! I have a dog service business that I work full time 7 days a week. I can also handle multiple dogs at once and work on leash manners and commands. I can cater to each individual dogs needs. I am available days, nights, weekends, and holidays. I can be your go to pet care provider! I come to your home to provide top notch care. I follow your pets needs and wants and any of your wishes. It is important to me that you feel comfortable and have full confidence that your Furry Friends are well taken care of!
About: I have had cats and dogs since I was 3 and I am currently going to school for my Bachelors in Animal Science, therefore I would love to express my love for animals with caring for yours! I am a full time student at NC State but I am graduating in the fall so my schedule is really open right now where I can add pet visits either between classes or after classes. I will ensure that all instructions given to me will be followed completely and if I have an issue regarding the care of the pet(s) I will reach out to the owner immediately.
