About: I have experience with Elderly dogs as well as puppies. I have some experience with training and am able to assist with simple commands like sit, stay, and heel. I have experience with reactive dogs as I used to have one of my own, and am very good at soothing stressed animals and keeping them under control. All types of pets are welcome. I live in a more rural area of Wilmington and have a large fence surrounding my house. Most days, my schedule is very flexible and open, and I am able to give my full attention to the pets staying with me. I am a very diligent caretaker, always keeping an eye on the pet and taking time to determine what they need when they express distress. I am very active and love being in nature, so I am happy to take as many walks as might be necessary, go to the park, or even go swimming!

About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. I’m also qualified to train emotional support animals, which has been so rewarding. I chose this as a career path because of how much I genuinely love all living things. I don’t have pets of my own, so that gives me even more flexibility. I always make sure I’m doing my best to care for animals, in any aspect of my life or career. I’m diligent in making sure their feeding, walking and play schedules are upheld promptly, and that their routines stay relatively in tact. This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.

I am available Monday-Friday 530pm-8:30pm, Saturday anytime and Sundays 1pm-830pm I'm available to administer medication, take animals on walks, house sit in your home, or come in and check in on your loved ones by drop in visits. I will always treat your dog with the very best care. I will treat your dog just how I would want my pets to be treated in other words as family.
