About: I’m a registered nurse and caring for others is my passion. I’ve had animals my whole life. Dogs, cats, fish, lizards, and birds! I’m comfortable administering medications, going on walks, dog sitting, helping senior dogs mobilize, you name it! I currently have two miniature schnauzers who I’m absolutely obsessed with. About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. I’m also qualified to train emotional support animals, which has been so rewarding. I chose this as a career path because of how much I genuinely love all living things. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and give them the best care they could ask for! I own my own business, so I make my own schedule. I can tend to whatever schedule best suits the animals. I don’t have pets of my own, so that gives me even more flexibility. I always make sure I’m doing my best to care for animals, in any aspect of my life or career. I’m diligent in making sure their feeding, walking and play schedules are upheld promptly, and that their routines stay relatively in tact. This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.

About: I have taken care of animals for the majority of my life whether that be nursing stray kittens back to health, assembling special meals for my dogs specific health requirements, or pet and house sitting for friends and family members so they could take a well needed vacation. I have always held a deep love for animals and a career where I can be around them all day sounds more like a dream than a job. While not a certified dog trainer I do have experience with training puppies for small tricks such as sit, place, stay, down, etc. and would be happy to teach your fur baby as I take care of them. As a full time student I have a very open schedule with asynchronous classes that allow me to be there when your fur baby requires. I make sure to keep my pets on a regular schedule with grooming, food, vet visits and play sessions so they may have the best experiences as they grow and develope.

About: I have had pets as far back as I can remember. They are family to me. I dog-sit and cat-sit for my daughter regularly. I've rescued many cats and a few dogs here and there. I'll move a turtle from the road. I let bugs out of the house. You get the idea. ​I work full time during the day, but I would love to help with pet care during evenings and weekends. I'm highly active, love walking dogs, and can easily build pet care into my routine outside of standard business hours. I prefer to come to your house for pet sitting and walking but am willing to pet sit at my place if necessary. Food and water of course but I will also talk, walk, and play with them as needed.

About: I have experience with Elderly dogs as well as puppies. I have some experience with training and am able to assist with simple commands like sit, stay, and heel. I have experience with reactive dogs as I used to have one of my own, and am very good at soothing stressed animals and keeping them under control. All types of pets are welcome. I live in a more rural area of Wilmington and have a large fence surrounding my house. Most days, my schedule is very flexible and open, and I am able to give my full attention to the pets staying with me. I am a very diligent caretaker, always keeping an eye on the pet and taking time to determine what they need when they express distress. I am very active and love being in nature, so I am happy to take as many walks as might be necessary, go to the park, or even go swimming!

About: I've had pet dogs my entire life. My parents have me watch their dogs every time they go on vacation. I'm comfortable being around any dog, big or small. I'm currently applying to secondary employment while I transition into more hours at my current job. My availability changes weekly but I am generally flexible based on your needs. Comfortable taking your pet for leashed walks around the neighborhood as I walk my own dogs quite often. Also comfortable going to local parks at your discretion.
