About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. I’m also qualified to train emotional support animals, which has been so rewarding. I chose this as a career path because of how much I genuinely love all living things. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and give them the best care they could ask for! I own my own business, so I make my own schedule. I can tend to whatever schedule best suits the animals. I don’t have pets of my own, so that gives me even more flexibility. I always make sure I’m doing my best to care for animals, in any aspect of my life or career. I’m diligent in making sure their feeding, walking and play schedules are upheld promptly, and that their routines stay relatively in tact. This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.

About: I have spent 3 years employed in pet boarding/doggy daycare, and have lived my entire life around pets. Growing up, i spent a lot of time at the humane society with a family member who worked there, learning all i could! I have had experience in administering medications, feeding, walking, and cleaning up after all sizes and kinds of animals (mostly dogs and cats). I’m currently a college student, and would love to make some money on the side doing what i love the most—caring for animals! I have pet sit multiple times in the past in between and after classes, and look forward to meeting your pet. After walking or playing, i can easily crate or feed your dog, whatever is needed! About: I have been pet sitting for about 5 years and have cared for many different types of pets, including dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, fish, and lizards. I am very comfortable caring for pets with different personalities, routines, and needs, and I always make sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I am also experienced in giving medications and following specific care instructions when needed. My mom is a veterinarian, so I have grown up around animals and learned a lot about proper pet care and paying attention to changes in an animal’s behavior or health. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet I care for like they are my own! I am currently a college student at UNCW, and I have a 3+ hour break between every class, so I have plenty of free time to take pets out for a potty break throughout the day. I am also completely free most weekends, so I have lots of time to spend with pets! I usually care for pets in their own homes so they can stay in a place they already know and feel comfortable in. I always make sure to follow their normal routine, including feeding, walks, medication, and playtime. I’ll also make sure the house is clean, secure, and just the way the owner left it. Most importantly, I want both the pets and their owners to feel comfortable and know they’re in good hands.

About: Ive had dogs my entire life. I trained my puppy and adore all dog breeds. I love playing with dogs to wear them out and walking them to get exercise. I currently work 10 hours a week researching so i bace an incredibly flexible schedule. I have reliable transportation and plenty of space and time for your pets. I love walking dogs as part of my daily exercise. Pet needs come first. Every pet and owner is different so I will accommodate for each pet. The environment and pet dictate how I go about my rountine and care. I will care for the pet as if they are my own and wont even realize their pet owner is gone!

About: I have been around dogs since I was born. My parents have always had at least one dog running around the house, and I now have one myself that lives with me! Layla has gotten me through some tough times and with that being said I know how important dogs (and cats) are in our lives. I would love to be a sitter, walker, and caregiver to anyone's furry necessity! I am a full time student! Which means that I usually have school all week! I am free after 5pm every day of the week and on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays all day! I have my 3 year old dog named Layla that is very friendly to all dogs! She is playful and loves to meet new friends! I walk her 3-4 times daily because I don't have a fenced yard. This will also be the case if I am boarding a dog! If your dog is crate trained I have a medium sized crate that they can sleep in overnight! I am open to walking as often as needed and will follow routines to a tee! I also live with my boyfriend as a heads up! He is lovely pet owner and loves my girl like she is his own!

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old for neighbors, family, and friends, along with my own two dogs and numerous other animals. I’m currently a student in college and would love a flexible job I can squeeze into my odd schedule. I love my dogs more than anything and would love to spend time with any animal since being away from mine! I do not have a yard at my apartment but I am able to take care of your dog however you need at your home or take them to a park!

About: My family has owned dogs since long before I came along. And thus, I've taken care of everything from chihuahuas to goldens and working line german shepherds. I started caring for them myself when I was about five and haven't stopped since. I've raised multiple litters of puppies, assisted in dog training, given both injections and oral medicine daily, and am capable of caring for anything from new born puppies to elderly dogs. I am currently a student and have classes Monday through Thursday, but I have plenty of time between classes and on weekends to help care for your critters!! I can't do boarding at my place due to living in an apartment, but I can do any kind of care needed at your place! I can play and keep them near like I do with my dogs, I can feed, give medicine, clean up after them, crate them, whatever's necessary! Just tell me how you want it done!

About: By day, I work as a consultant, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of free time during regular hours. I’ve always loved animals, so I decided to turn that into something fun: dog walking and drop-in visits. I’d love to help keep your pup happy, active, and well cared for while you’re away! My day job gives me a lot of flexibility, so fitting in walks or drop-ins throughout the day is easy for me. It always brightens my day to spend time with animals. I love playing with them, getting outside, and just being around dogs in general. About: I’ve been dog walking and dog sitting for many years for neighbors etc. I also took a vet class in high school to learn more about animals. I worked at a dog and cat boarding and daycare center and even volunteered in Guatemala at a dog sanctuary for 3 weeks. My dream is to one day run my own dog shelter. About: Growing up, I took care of almost all of my four pets' (two dogs, two cats) needs until I recently moved for college! I also cared for horses for the past two years! I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, through several years of paid dog-sitting and cat-sitting experience. I can handle meals, administer medication, take pets on walks, as well as being a source of company for the animal. I truly love animals and would love to help you! I am a full time student at UNCW!
