About: My extensive experience caring for dogs since I was in high school has prepared me to take care of your pup(s). From waking up early in the morning to let outside, long walks to help unleash pent up energy, to shifting around in bed to make room for dogs to sleep with the pack - I am here to make sure your pup enjoys the stay away from home! I am taking the year off from work and have plenty of time to look after your pup(s). Recently moved to an apartment complex near Wrightsville Beach. I usually take my Rover pups on about five walks a day - so they get plenty of outside time and chances to meet other pups along the walkway. Dogs are welcome on my couches and bed. If you bring your pup's dog bed for their visit, I set it up by a window that looks onto Wrightsville Avenue so they can watch people and cars go by.

About: The first time I was going out to town and couldn't take my puppy I was heart broken and worried. I wanted to make sure that someone would love and care for him the same way I did. Let me take that stress away so you can relax and enjoy your time away! I was raised in a home with multiple dogs and cats and love having fur-babies all around. You can rest assured that your baby will be well taken care of with me. I work from home full time with a flexible schedule that will allow me the availability to care for your furbabies while you are away! My goal is to leave your space as I found it. That means cleaning up toys when we are finished playing, making sure food bowls are washed and put away and your pets are happy and well loved on when I leave!

About: I’m a big animal lover and treat every pet as if they were my own! I’m flexible and will try my best to work with you & what you need. I’ll never say no to extra kisses, lovings, and playtime! About: I treat every pet as if they are my own. I have grown up with dogs and have my own. I’ll sent photos and updates and I am quick to respond. I work from home so I can hang out all day with them, take walks during the day, cuddles, play time, etc. I will make sure they are loved and taken care of. If they are having a sleepover, I have a yard beside my house I can let them run and I live in a neighborhood where I can walk them.** I have a dog of my own that LOVES new friends and to play. He is featured in my profile. If boarding at my house, dog has to get along** I’m also available to come let out and take your dog(s) on a walk throughout the day.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 10 years old, starting with my own! As I have gotten older, I have taken care of lots of friends and family members pets, as well as dog sitting overnight at a friends for 3 weeks! I am home for the summer so I am pretty much free every day of the week! I am wanting to continue taking care of pets even when I return to school at UNCW! I will take more than enough care for your animals in your own home, making it even easier for your pet to adapt better to the change in who is taking care of them! About: I have loved animals my whole life & I would take care of yours like they’re my own. I have also been around a wide variety of animals, so I am fully aware of the responsibility it takes to care for them & capable to do it. I have an attention to detail & would make sure your pet is well cared for while you are away. I currently have two dogs of my own so I have some experience with giving medication as well as some training experience. I have no breed or size preference all I ask is no aggressive dogs/cats please! For the most part, I am extremely flexible. Therefore I will be able to be there for you & your pets when I am needed. I currently do not offer services in my home. However, if I am in your home I will use everything available to me to keep your pet entertained & happy.

About: I’ve always loved cats and dogs while growing up. I even have 2 fur babies of my own. I also currently work at a local veterinary office in Wilmington. I currently work at an Animal Hospital in the SeaGate area of Wilmington. I work part time but pretty flexible with my hours! Pet care easily fits into my daily routine :) I currently work in an animal hospital and I have experience working in a doggy day care/boarding facility which has shown me how to take care of your fur baby at any time of the day/night!

About: i grew up taking care of my pets, basically since i could walk. from german shepherds to cats to labradors, i’ve handled it all and then some i work nights, so i can manage everything needed during the day, and come home to a quick bowl of food and belly rubs for the animals i don’t have a fenced in yard, but the inside of the house is couch proof and full of comfy nap time spots for them

Both of my dogs are currently on a structured diet, and we try to walk them two to three times a week after work for exercise and fun. I'm also good with affectionate, energetic dogs who love play but also need consistency and calm leadership. Whether a dog needs exercise, enrichment, patience, or just a reassuring presence nearby, I aim to make them feel safe, loved, and understood while their people are away. I work from home with flexible hours, which allows me to be present and attentive when caring for pets. My daily routine already revolves around caring for my own cats and dogs, including feeding schedules, dedicated playtime, and occasional outings when possible. This flexibility helps me reliably support drop-in visits and maintain consistent routines for pets in my care. Drop-in visits are scheduled for approximately 30 minutes and are designed to be calm, attentive visits that focus on your pet’s comfort, routine, and enrichment rather than rushed check-ins. Because pet care is already a natural part of my day, it’s easy for me to adapt my schedule to fit a pet’s specific routine and needs. I focus on consistent attention, companionship, and timely care, making sure pets feel comfortable and supported rather than rushed or overlooked.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends, families, & neighbors since I was in middle school & I love all kinds of animals big & small! I grew up with a labradoodle and a pitbull mix, helping my family take care of & train them. Since then, I’ve lived with 3 different cats with very different personalities that I helped take care of! I’ve pet sat for pit bulls, huskies, goldens, goldendoodles, Bernese mountain dogs, Australian shepherds, mutts big & small as well as cats & lizards! I’m newer to the Wilmington area & longing for a pet of my own, but don’t have the money to support (spoil) one they way I would want to, which is why I do Rover! I currently work full-time at UNCW, but am lucky enough to have a pretty flexible schedule! I am available in the morning, mid-day/afternoon (my lunch break is flexible!), anytime after 5pm & on the weekends! In my home, I make sure to pet-proof everything before having any animals over (no food out, breakable things put away). I live in an apartment complex with a dog park & access to the cross-city trail for long walks! I also live nearby both Empie & Long Leaf Parks and love going on walks there by myself, so I would love to continue my walks with a pet! If I am caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to respect their privacy while caring for their pet.

About: Ever since I can remember, my mom was an active participant in fostering dogs for Sato Heart Rescue in my home state, New Hampshire. I have grown up both with and around many dogs, enough so that I am comfortable sharing my time and experience with yours! I grew up on a farm which sparked such a love for animals. When I moved away from home for college in San Diego, I decided to continue fostering both cats and dogs as it allowed me a sense of comfort, as well as provided a temporary and loving home for these pets. I recently relocated to Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach for my last two years of undergraduate school and it has been the best decision I have made. However, my current living arrangement doesn't allow pets. Therefore, I am now searching for opportunities that allow me exercise my passion for animals. I will ensure that your four-legged family member will receive the best care in my hands! Although I am in school and have a full time job, I am available most afternoons. My job requires me to work from around 8-4, but I am flexible. I am more than happy to discuss scheduling upon request :) . I am used to taking in many foster dogs. Therefore, I have a learned to care for and attend to pet's special needs and quirks. Upon dog sitting in my own home or others, I also have a past in babysitting. Caring for another person's loved ones is a job that shouldn't be taken lightly. I am well versed in a multitude of petsitting skills and techniques. I'd consider myself to be pretty good at cleaning up after pets' indoor "accidents", as I have had maybe more experience than one would wish to have in their lifetime. I am comfortable walking or playing with dogs of any size. Having a pet can sometimes be comparable to having children. I understand that many families have typical routines and practices, and I am more than willing to abide by those in order to provide both your family and pets with the respect they deserve.

About: I'm the go-to pet sitter for all my friends because they know I’m dependable, empathetic, and highly responsible. I manage my time well and always make pets my priority. I truly believe pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, respect, and attention I give to my own. I’m familiar with taking care of pets recovering from surgery as well as elderly dogs who just need a little extra care. I’m good with managing my time so I can make just about any schedule work. I have done Rover in the past and I have house sat many of those times(for 3 specific owners). I believe the pets are most comfortable at home and especially the ones who may need extra care. My apartment doesn’t allow pets but I’m more than happy to house sit.
