About: I’ve always loved animals and have grown up around pets. I’m responsible, patient and enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and specific quirks. I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, playtime or just keeping your pet company while you’re away. I’m a full-time college student and I’m not working currently, so I have a really flexible schedule. I also have a light class load this semester, which gives me plenty of free time throughout the week. Because of that, I’m able to be flexible with different pet schedules and spend plenty of time with them instead of just rushing in and out. I am able to work around your pet’s routine, whether they need a walk, playtime, to be fed, or just someone to hang out with. I’m very attentive when it comes to taking care of animals, and I always want to make sure I know your pet and their routine before you leave. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, watching them at my home for the day, house sitting at your home, etc. I pay close attention to things like feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, doors and gates, and any little details that are important to you. I will do everything I can to make your pet feel comfortable and safe while you’re away! Just a heads-up, I do have a cat at home, so any pets staying at my house would need to be comfortable around cats.

About: My mom is a licensed vet tech for almost 45 years I have helped her take care of pets I have a 10 year old golden retriever that I have fully trained and can do tricks. My golden lives with my mom since I’m in college. I go to cape fear community college majoring in exercise science and then doctor of Physical Therapy. This gives me time to have a furry friend in while I study and keep me company! I will provide water and a safe home for your fury friend. They will be provided with treats and lots of love and constant attention when not in class.

Your pup will have lots of supervision, attention, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. My community also has a dog park where dogs can safely run around and burn off energy. Whether your dog needs overnight care, walks, drop-in visits, or just a comfortable home away from home, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. About: Having grown up on a farm, I have been around animals all my life. Currently, I live behind the university with my two cavaliers on a little less than an acre. My two are wonderful with other dogs and looking for some playmates. My fenced-in backyard makes for the perfect playground, and your dogs will be free to come and go as they please from inside to the fenced in area. I have boarded as many as 4 dogs at one time and have cared for senior dogs (18+). Reach out for information on boarding opportunities and/or for additional details. I am here full-time and available currently for boarding any time of the day as well as on weekends. I maintain full care of my two, so the more, the merrier! I have a fenced-in backyard that allows for safe and carefree playtime. My two dogs are very friendly and are sure to make for excellent playmates.

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life. Growing up, our family always had dogs and cats, and as an adult, I’ve had the privilege of caring for two blind rescue dogs, as well as my current lovable 16-pound Aussiedoodle, Zoey. Zoey lives with me and gets along well with other dogs. For the past 2½ years, I’ve owned and operated a dog-walking and cat-care business, caring for a variety of neighborhood pets. My experience includes three 19-year-old cats, two medium and large Doodles, a Dachshund I’ve cared for since he was just 10 weeks old, and dogs of many different mixed breeds, ages, and personalities. My approach is to always let the animal lead. Both of my rescue dogs came from very difficult circumstances, and I learned how important patience, trust, and a sense of safety are. Rather than expecting an animal to immediately feel comfortable with me, I give them the time and space they need to open up on their own. With a calm, loving, and safe environment, that trust usually begins to develop naturally. I’m especially comfortable with animals who may be shy, fearful, cautious, or unsure of strangers. I take a very gentle approach, allowing them to get to know me at their own pace. Once they feel safe and comfortable, that’s when the magic unfolds! I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine, whether that means sleeping in a crate at night or curling up on the bed. I live in a first-floor apartment facing a nice open green space, which makes it easy to provide frequent potty breaks and neighborhood walks. With pet-parent permission, it’s my norm to send daily updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away. I’m also comfortable administering medications and handling foods that require refrigeration or freezing. I watch dogs who are 1-25 lbs. My schedule is fairly flexible, and I do my best to accommodate each pet’s individual routine and needs. Just let me know what works best for you and your pet! I am currently retired so I am home most of the day/night. I live with my 16 lb non-shedding Aussie doogle dog, Zoey. I may step out to run errands, go to an appointment, other, but am otherwise at home. I allow dogs to sleep on my bed or stay in a crate at night, per pet parents wishes. If you are traveling and require a pick up after 6 pm just let me know so we can work something out. I live in an apartment on the first floor, so I have easy access to let dogs out for potty breaks as I face an open green space. I live in a safe community with plenty of sidewalks and street lighting. I often walk my dog clients in the morning when it is cool outside, so they can get adequate exercise. On rainy days, I like to occupy your pet with tug-o-war, or a treat-kong, or playing with other toys. Please feel free to bring your dog's favorite toys.
