About: I have been around dogs since I was born. My parents have always had at least one dog running around the house, and I now have one myself that lives with me! Layla has gotten ne through some tough times and with that being said I know how important dogs (and cats) are in our lives. I would love to be a sitter, walker, and caregiver to anyone's furry necessity! I am a full time student! Which means that I usually have school all week! I am free after 5pm every day of the week and on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays all day! I have my 3 year old dog named Layla that is very friendly to all dogs! She is playful and loves to meet new friends! I walk her 3-4 times daily because I don't have a fenced yard. This will also be the case if I am boarding a dog! If your dog is crate trained I have a medium sized crate that they can sleep in overnight! I am open to walking as often as needed and will follow routines to a tee!

About: I had two rambunctious but precious dogs growing up, so I'm not put off by a tough exterior. I know a mean bark does not equal a mean soul. I have experience dogsitting/cat sitting for clients, friends and professors, and most recently I've been volunteering at Addie Catz Sanctuary, so I'm well accustomed to cleaning messes, navigating reactive animals, and loving on pets. I'm more than happy to answer any questions :) I currently have classes from 9am-1pm Monday/Wednesday/Friday, and from 9am-12pm, then 3pm-5pm Tuesday/Thursday (so I can check on pets in between those classes). I love to do early morning walks to make up for time I can't be with them during the day! I'll be asking a lot of questions to ensure my care is tailored to your pet's needs, and to build your trust in my capabilities. I'm more than happy to learn the kennels, feeding systems, and "flow" of animal care in your own home to avoid the unnecessary stress and change for pets that comes with boarding.

About: I love animals and have experience with pets from my time working at a vet clinic receptionist to watching cats and dogs for friends and family! Experience with senior animals and giving medications. I believe in understanding a pet's needs and responding with compassion. I currently work full time in person with a flexible schedule. I will chat with you before we commit to pet sitting to ensure my schedule works for your needs (if that's dropping in before or after my shift, over lunch for a walk, etc). I am able to hang out with your pets, drop in, or walk your pets during the day and stay overnight if needed! I currently don’t offer to have pets stay in my home.

About: Hi, I'm Lauren! I have done pet sitting and dog walking for my neighbors and friends since I was 10 years old, including high energy puppies and an elderly, blind dog in particular. I'm currently a college student and would love to take care of your pups! I am currently a full-time student, but I have plenty of time after classes and on the weekends to exercise and keep your dogs company. I do not have any pets with me here at college as I am in an apartment complex, however, I would love to exercise and keep your dogs company.

About: Because of my love for animals from a young age, I started volunteering at animal shelters at the age of 10. I have assisted numerous humane societies and adoption centers. I have also taken the responsibility of fostering dogs and cats with my mom in order to make sure they were healthy and ready to be with their new family! I also have lots of experience petsitting and dog walking for many of the people in my hometown. I am currently a student at UNCW and am available Monday, Wednesday, Friday after 2 PM. I am also available on weekends with advance notice! I will always follow your pets routine, instructions, and their comfort level. I will keep every pet safe, happy, and cared for while they are with me!

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats and have cared for pets throughout my life. I currently share my home with three dogs: Harley, a 70-pound SuperMutt, and Biggie and Smalls, two Dachshund siblings. Living with dogs of very different sizes and personalities has taught me how important it is to adapt to each pet’s individual needs. I am comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, companionship, and multi-dog households. I am patient, dependable, attentive, and will care for your pets with the same respect and affection I give my own. Pet care is already a central part of my daily routine because I share my home with three dogs of different sizes and personalities. My days include regular meals, bathroom breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I can plan carefully around confirmed bookings so each pet receives dependable, unrushed care while staying as close as possible to their normal routine. I treat every pet’s safety, comfort, and routine as the top priorities. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, keep doors and gates secure, use leashes appropriately, supervise interactions, and separate pets during meals when needed. In my home, I would only accept pets that are a good fit with my three resident dogs and would introduce them gradually. In a client’s home, I am respectful of the space and provide regular updates so pet parents know their animals are safe and comfortable.

About: I’ve been both a dog owner and dog sitter ever since I was young! I love to take a spontaneous trip so I don’t have any pets of my own but I do enjoy pet sitting for others with my free time! My days and most nights are wide open due to my remote job. I am currently working part time and remotely so I am free most nights and days and available on short notice. Please give at least one day heads up. I am very respectful and quiet. I can stay at your home or come check in on the pets- whichever you prefer. I don’t have any pets currently.

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for everything from energetic puppies and rescue dogs to senior dogs needing specialized attention, including my 16-year-old diabetic beagle who required daily medication, monitoring, and lots of extra love and patience. In my home, dogs are family. They’re welcome on the furniture, get plenty of affection, and are treated like part of the pack. Your pup will have lots of supervision, attention, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. My community also has a dog park where dogs can safely run around and burn off energy. Whether your dog needs overnight care, walks, drop-in visits, or just a comfortable home away from home, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I work only part time on a flexible schedule, which means your pup will have lots of supervision, attention, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. My community also has a dog park where dogs can safely run around and burn off energy. My community has a dog park where dogs can safely run around and burn off energy. About: I have years of experience in pet/house sitting. I've had dogs all my life and can make sure they are taken care of as if they were my own. All I ask is for you to let me know of any specifications regarding your pets! I am a new VT graduate with a degree in Public Health. I am also a full-time server looking for an extra side hustle. My schedule varies with my job so my availability will change weekly, but I can be flexible with my hours! I unfortunately cannot have pets in my complex, but I am perfectly comfortable watching at the client's home. Overnight stays will depend, just send me a message!

About: I’ve been a dog lover since I could remember. I love the comfort of a dog beside me at any moment. When I’m having a bad day I always find my dogs bring me the love I need. But as a sitter I make sure to take really good care of the dogs and make them feel as comfortable as needed when they are away from their owner. I am currently a college student and like to mix a little bit of pet sitting into my schedule. I am mostly available when it comes to breaks and summer but feel free to reach out! When it comes to my home I make sure they are comfortable and getting enough attention and are taken outside as much as possible and feed regularly

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
