About: I grew up in a home with both dogs and cats and have always loved caring for animals. When I was six years old, my parents gifted me a kitten named Sophia. She became my best friend and lived to be 20 years old before recently passing away from chronic kidney disease (CKD). Caring for Sophia throughout her life taught me a lot abt what cats need to thrive, including administering subcutaneous fluids and supporting a senior pet with medical needs.
