About: You can trust me to take excellent care of your pet! As well as owning my own pets most of my life (dogs, cats, ferret, birds, rabbits, etc.), I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-veterinary medicine. I have pet-sat for several friends and clients, volunteered at shelters, worked at veterinary clinics, boarding facilities, and for a professional dog walking company. You can rest easy as your pet will be safe in my care. I follow directions well and get the details right! Why I love dog walking and sitting: I have been a dog lover since the day I was born. My first dog, Chief, helped raise me! Since then, I have owned a dog most of my life. Some have called me the "dog-whisperer". I have a pretty good perception of dogs and connect very easily with most. My last dog, Wendell, was a 150 lb. mastiff whom I adopted when he was 4.5 years old. He had never been socialized and was scared of most people, so in the six years we were together, I gained a lot of first-hand experience working through behavioral issues in a very large and strong breed. Our current dog is Lucy, a happy-go-lucky bull terrier who is deaf. She loves every living being! I’m also comfortable taking care of cats and other pets. My experience administering medication: I've given lots of oral meds and various ointments, eye drops, ear drops, etc. My schedule is pretty flexible. I’m typically available any day of the week and can do early mornings and late evenings if needed. Let me know your needs and I will do my best to accommodate! We have a secure, fenced yard, a doggie door, and a covered back patio with doggie beds perfect for lounging in the sun or shade. We also have a friendly bull terrier who will happily keep your dog company! We can easily keep your dog in a separate room while we are away from the house if you prefer. Lucy’s dad/my significant other, Pedro, also lives here and also loves animals.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! She was so great with our dogs, kind, patient, and really attentive to their needs. From the moment we dropped them off, we felt completely at ease knowing they were in good hands. She sent us daily photo updates, which we absolutely loved. It was clear our dogs were happy, comfortable, and having a great time. You can tell she genuinely cares about the pets she watches, and that meant a lot to us. We’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future. Our dogs already miss her!”

“I could tell how much Aspen (Mini Aussie, 4) really enjoyed his 2 night stay with Robert. Aspen was immediately comfortable around Robert and his very well behaved King Charles dogs. The yard was fantastic as it allowed for him to play 10/10”

“Cosette was very communicative and sent a lot of pictures! This was my first time using Rover and I picked her because of her experiences with dachshunds. Very happy with the experience!”

“Josephine was very accomodating for our last minute dogsitting needs Thanksgiving weekend. She took great care of Lucy who loved playing with Roxy! We appreciate her patience and love she gave our anxious dog.”

“Savannah was great! She is so sweet and good with animals. She gave my high energy Australian Shepherd puppy lots of enrichment, and he had a lot of fun. She also gave my cat a safe quiet space so she was comfortable during her stay as well. She was also very responsive and sent plenty of updates and photos, so I knew my animals were in good hands. I would highly recommend Savannah, and I would definitely book again!”

“This was the first time having to leave my dog with a sitter so I was apprehensive but didn’t have a choice. Sarah was fantastic! She would provide updates and send pictures. I thought my dog adopted a new family and wouldn’t want to come home (thankfully he did)! I would certainly go back to Sarah if I needed dog sitting services again!”

About: For the past five years, anytime my neighbors or family go out of town I am the first one they contact to pet sit. Also I’ve spent a great deal of time over the past two years volunteering at local animal shelters. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to check in on pets during the workday when needed, and I’m also an early riser, so morning walks, feedings, and potty breaks are never a problem. After work, I have plenty of time to spend with your pet, whether that’s going for a walk, playing, or simply providing companionship. I’m also available for overnight stays when needed to help keep your pet comfortable and maintain their normal routine while you’re away. Your pets safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in a clients home, I work to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, preferences, and needs. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to provide a safe, stress-free environment where your pet feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for.
“Brooklin took amazing care of my cat, Lylla, while I was away. Lylla is very shy around new people, but Brooklin was incredibly patient and was able to get her to warm up, which says a lot! She went above and beyond to make sure Lylla was comfortable and cared for, even helping encourage her to eat when she wasn’t showing much interest in food. Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay. Brooklin kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing my spoiled girl was in good hands. I could tell she genuinely cared about Lylla’s well-being and treated her like her own. I would absolutely book with Brooklin again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter.”

About: I’ve had animals since I was a kid and always enjoyed taking care of them! It’s very rewarding for me. In my early 20s I was a dog trainer I’m a stay at home dad. We have a 10 and a 5 year old. I take walks throughout the day and between my wife someone is always home unless we are taking the kids somewhere. If they like the car and the park I can even take them with me! I walk a lot and am outside with my kids throughout the day. My kids love dogs so they will be showered with love and cuddles (if they enjoy that).
“I was impressed with Monica and Jeff and how they took care of my buddy Dudley! They are true dog people and it shows. My 5 year old maltipoo has only been watched by two people, neither of which can dog sit anymore. I am so glad I met them and even though it took Dudley a couple days to warm up, they won him over. He has only been without us on four occasions so he had some anxiety. They did a great job as I could tell when I picked him up he was friendly with them. Highly recommended!”

“Mandy does such a great job taking care of our boy Tito when we are away. He is always happy and in good shape when he comes home. Mandy is like a second Mim to Tito.”

“Bonnie is by far the best sitter I could have ever asked for! She is such a kind soul that truly loves animals. Her pup Terra was so great with our puppy - they are besties now! Bonnie sent multiple photos and videos every day... I didn't have any of the worry or anxiety I normally do going on vacation. She took them on walks, to the beach, and hikes through the woods. And most importantly, I know she gave our pup ALL the snuggles and affection! 1,000% recommend Bonnie :)”

About: My home has never been pet-less! I used to work in a dog/cat daycare and trained my own pup. I’d love to help take care of more furry loved ones! I have just started a new Mon-Fri job. I am relocating from Leland>Carolina beach Oct. 1st. I will likely have early morning and evening availability during the week and additional availability on weekends in Carolina beach. I have three lovely indoor cats who love their privacy. I will be unable to care for animals in my home. Caring for animals in my clients home is a great trust to ensure in a walker such as myself. I care tremendously for the instructions left for me and leaving the home as it was found.
“Helena and her husband were wonderful to work with - kind and extremely flexible with drop off and pick up times. They live in a very nice community with lots of places for shady walks. Buddy had his own loveseat by the front door which he could lay on and look outside or at Helena and her husband in the kitchen or sitting room of their open plan home. I received regular updates and photos of Buddy in what really was a home away from home. From the initial meeting when I went to drop Buddy off, I knew he was in great hands. I would definitely have Buddy stay with Helena again and recommend her to anyone looking for an attentive loving couple to take care of you ‘fur baby’!!”

“Matt and Lou cared for Bogan over the weekend and they were kind and compassionate. We loved how welcoming they were of Brogan. They provided frequent updates to put our mind at ease. We have already booked Brogan’s second stay. I highly recommend them. Thank you, Matt and Lou!”

“Valerie helped us out with a last minute sit on a holiday! She was an excellent communicator and wonderful host for my two dogs. She was flexible with drop off times and really helpful when we changed our plans at the last minute. Her home is in a quiet neighborhood with a really large fenced in backyard! Definitely recommend.”
