About: I have two dogs and a cat of my own. :) I worked two years at Pet Supermarket, first as a cashier, then as a manager. My responsibilities were to help keep everything tidy, ensure the animals were well cared for at the store, and assist customers with their pet needs. I also grew up in a home with reptiles, cats, dogs, birds and small rodents. I'm currently prepared to work part-time with boarding, dog-sitting, and walking dogs after 12:00 on weekdays, and I'm flexible with weekends. I have two dogs and a cat to help keep your fur baby company. I don't have a fenced-in backyard, but there are places around the community where I like to walk my dogs. We also have dog-proof rooms upstairs where we can separate pets as needed.

As well as owning my own pets most of my life (dogs, cats, ferret, birds, rabbits, etc.), I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-veterinary medicine. I have pet-sat for several friends and clients, volunteered at shelters, worked at veterinary clinics, boarding facilities, and for a professional dog walking company. You can rest easy as your pet will be safe in my care. I follow directions well and get the details right! Why I love dog walking and sitting: I have been a dog lover since the day I was born. My first dog, Chief, helped raise me! Since then, I have owned a dog most of my life. Some have called me the "dog-whisperer". I have a pretty good perception of dogs and connect very easily with most. My last dog, Wendell, was a 150 lb. mastiff whom I adopted when he was 4.5 years old. He had never been socialized and was scared of most people, so in the six years we were together, I gained a lot of first-hand experience working through behavioral issues in a very large and strong breed. Our current dog is Lucy, a happy-go-lucky bull terrier who is deaf. She loves every living being! I’m also comfortable taking care of cats and other pets. My experience administering medication: I've given lots of oral meds and various ointments, eye drops, ear drops, etc. My schedule is pretty flexible. I’m typically available any day of the week and can do early mornings and late evenings if needed. Let me know your needs and I will do my best to accommodate! We have a secure, fenced yard, a doggie door, and a covered back patio with doggie beds perfect for lounging in the sun or shade. We also have a friendly bull terrier who will happily keep your dog company! We can easily keep your dog in a separate room while we are away from the house if you prefer. Lucy’s dad/my significant other, Pedro, also lives here and also loves animals.
“Savannah was great! She is so sweet and good with animals. She gave my high energy Australian Shepherd puppy lots of enrichment, and he had a lot of fun. She also gave my cat a safe quiet space so she was comfortable during her stay as well. She was also very responsive and sent plenty of updates and photos, so I knew my animals were in good hands. Brooklin took amazing care of my cat, Lylla, while I was away. Lylla is very shy around new people, but Brooklin was incredibly patient and was able to get her to warm up, which says a lot! She went above and beyond to make sure Lylla was comfortable and cared for, even helping encourage her to eat when she wasn’t showing much interest in food. Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay. Brooklin kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing my spoiled girl was in good hands. Andrew and Erin, I’ve been the best pet sitters we could ask for! Our little multi-Pooh, Chloe, absolutely loves them, and has a great time with them! They are very communicative, kind and send lots of pictures and updates. It makes leaving her so much easier knowing that she’s having a great time while I’m gone.
Ryan was great! Made sure our babies were taken care of, got walks, and especially lots of snuggles, and he updated me on most days with pics. Audre was wonderful! She treated my dog, Alfie, like her own. She sent many pictures and kept me updated while I was away. She even cooked him a nice dinner of brown rice and veggies, which he absolutely loved! I would absolutely trust Audre to watch my dog again whenever I need to be out of town.
So happy I found Danielle. Dakota loved her right away, and she took great care of her while I was away for a full week. Dakota hurt her paw right before her stay and had to take medicine twice a day the entire time. Danielle was a true pro and kept me informed with lots of photos and videos each day, which I loved!
