“What a fabulous experience this was I could not be more happy. I had never left my little one before. This wasn’t my first time and I can tell she had an awesome experience. I did not wanna leave her alone because we were out of town. It would have to leave her alone all day long this way we only had to leave her for three hours Usually when I come back she’s shaking and crying and very sad if I were to leave her alone. When I came to pick her up from Julie she was happy and playful and wonderful. The care she received was excellent. Julie ‘s home was clean and inviting and safe for my baby. I will recommend her to everyone. We are going out of town for a week and I was gonna take my baby with me and find Care out there, but I’ve decided I’m going to leave her with Julie because she could not be more capable of caring for puppies than anybody I’ve ever known Thank you, Julie for being so wonderful to my baby. Can’t wait to work with you again. I come once a week to see my son at college and now I have a little drop in for my baby.”

“I am grateful for their last minute care.”

About: Hello....I am not your average pet sitter. I have been a life-long dog owner [and horse owner and cat owner LOL] and was a veterinary assistant for many years. I have extensive personal and professional experience with dogs -- big, small, furry, bald, young or old. I love them all and having the opportunity to care for them is a privilege. My home is a doggy nirvana. Your pup will snuggle with me on my couch, in my bed and run around my fenced-in yard to his/her heart's content. I am retired, so I am home with your fur baby around the clock [with the exception of running an errand or 2 on occasion]. My 2 little shihtzus tend to mind their own business and are very used to having visiting canine guests. I am retired and will happily provide your fur baby with the loving care, attention and reassurance they need when you can't be with them. I have a fenced yard and 2 playful small dogs if your fur baby wants a playmate. I also have crates if you prefer that your dog be crated. I am retired, so making your sweet fur baby feel as comfortable and safe as possible during your absence is my focus and my priority! Being away from home creates anxiety in nearly all pups. My job is make them feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible while they are staying with me. Sometimes that means a lot of walking and playing to dissipate the anxiety; sometimes it means giving them a quiet place to "just be" for awhile. Each dog is different and I make every effort possible to assess and to understand your pup's needs.

“My wife and I have been going to Madison for a while now for our puppy’s daycare. She has literally watched our boy grow up and we couldn’t ask for a better, more attentive, and just all around great person to be taking care of our fur baby. She is everything we could ask for and more!”

“Our dog Tobey really liked spending the day with Audre! She is definitely a pet person! Audre did a great job communicating with us and we look forward to Tobey staying with her again soon.”

We'll definitely be using their services again. And their prices are very affordable and reasonable.”

“Cara was in good hands with Allie. She has a great environment for dogs and makes sure that exercise is part of the visit. Cara was happy and we were very pleased.”

About: I currently foster dogs and teach basic training for puppies/young dogs. I have a lot of experience with high energy dogs. I have worked at with dogs at boarding kennels and a dog rescue in which I have handled a variety of different dogs breeds with many different personalities and needs. I take dogs to wildlife areas and the beaches to run on and off leash if client is confident with their dog listening. I currently work from home, and my schedule is pretty flexible. I can work Monday’s to Friday’s and most weekends. I will keep my schedule updated through the app. I have a fenced in yard and monitor dogs when outside. I monitor pets with toys and spend time playing with dogs. If requested, I will provided basic training lessons, but price will vary. I am trained in e-collar training, clicker, positive reinforcement/treats. Method of training or handling the dog is discussed with the client . That is determined by client and what training shall be focused on. I am trained in animal behavior and can notice if dogs become aggressive with people or other animals if requested for dogs to engage with other dogs. I always encourage clients to have their dogs engage in activities outside the home to get the dog more comfortable around people , other dogs, and people. Also to be handled walking on a leash and practice good behavior. Unless the dog is extremely aggressive and not good around other people or animals, I believe it is crucial for young dogs to practice socializing. Please be honest and inform me of any medical issues, aggression, other behavioral issues, and what toys they are allowed to have.

11. Valerie K.

“I'm picky about my friends, and Valerie is a good one. She is kind, funny, smart, and reliable. I love animals and I have observed her with dogs, cats, and horses. She is kind and knowledgable about their care and training, and I frequently ask her for advise on both topics. I have watched and learned from her for about 5 years. We met when her mother was in hospice and she was the most devoted and attentive daughter. We became friends and she taught me how to wash and groom horses. I observed how she cared for her elderly poodle and managed a humane end of life for her pet. And I have watched as she manages two small rescue dogs and two cats. All of her animals are rescue, and one of her dogs struggles with confidence issues. Valerie is doggedly patient, understanding, and loyal to all her animals, particularly the fearful one. You could not trust your clients' pets with anyone better!”
