About: We have experience with everything from young puppies to elderly dogs, including injured and recovering, special diets, special needs, anxiety, training, and everything in between. Both my husband and I work from home & we have a generally flexible schedule that allows us to go on walks, play in the yard, ect. Our dog is a little over 1 year old and loves other dogs to have as companions and share his large yard with. We care for dogs with kindness, respect, and a lot of love. We communicate with them all day and include them in our everyday lives in the household. Our yard is fenced (combination of wood fencing, chain link fencing and chicken wire - please let us know if they are jumpers or escape artists). Each dog will come with their own set of special requests and we are happy to oblige.

About: I have owned dogs all my life and also cats . My 6 children always were surrounded by with pets and they all received the utmost care . I firmly believe that regular veterinary care is essential and if you can’t afford it don’t have a pet . I recently lost my wife of 60 years and caring for a pet would fill a void ! Dogs are precious and deserve a caring safe environment. I have a fenced yard and a 5 year old pug who is friendly !my cottage is clean and well maintained . The rooms are solid wood so no problem if a dog has an indoor accident . I am retired and spend most of my time at home so I welcome a dog as very nice company

About: Hi! I'm a pet mom currently without my own furbaby and would love to be your substitute pet parent/sitter! For however long your pet is in my care, I will love them and treat them as if they are my own. I have 20+ years of caring for dogs of various ages, sizes, breeds and personalities, including giving them medications/supplements. I have had one from puppy to doggie heaven, and several in between. I do not currently own one, so I would love the opportunity to hang out, cuddle, walk, and play with your furbaby! I give them the care and love they need and deserve. My life is appointments and dogs! Up until recently, my dogs were my life. For the majority of the past 15 years, I've been used to having two larger dogs around, but now it's just me. I am currently unable to work a "normal" job at the moment and need dogs in my life! This is how I am able to earn income at the moment. Caring for them are as much of a benefit for me as they are for you and your furbaby! I am super flexible, so just because you're away doesn't mean their routine has to change. I aim to provide a home away from home for pups that stay with me. I care for them as if they were my own. Being away from home and/or from you, can be difficult so I do everything I can to make sure they are happy and comfortable. I am mindful of everything a dog could get into so do my best to provide a safe, clean, and dog friendly environment for them. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. It is on the first floor and has lots of space for a pup to still run and play.

About: I have always had either a cat or dog. I recently had to say goodbye to our cat and lost my dachshund about 2 years ago. My son and I are not ready to get another pet of our own but, we would like to take care of your pet as we would our own. I have always been the "go to" trusted person for many of my friends for pet sitting. I enjoy being active and outdoors as much as possible. I usually go for a walk or run first thing in the morning and would love to have a buddy for that. I am also open to dogs that are older and need some extra time and attention. My Daschund had seizures for the last couple years of life so, I have experience with some senior dog issues. I work from home every day so, I can spend a lot of time with your pet. My schedule is very flexible so, I can scheduled in walk(s) and potty breaks throughout the day for in home and care at my home. I live in a very safe townhouse community with an ideal low traffic area for walks. I live very close to several parks. I have a screened in back porch and a small fenced in yard with grass. I am flexible and willing to do works best to keep your pet safe and happy.

About: I grew up in a family who had 2 dogs and 2 cats at a minimum at any one time. So having pets was the norm and caring for them was something my parents instilled in us from an early age. So the love of animals is a deep need. When I moved to NC 11 years ago to care for my mom and aunt I decided I needed something for me..that was pet sitting..it brought me joy and peace..over the last few years my client base dwindled due to age of clients and pets and my responsibilities for my mom and aunt made it so I didnt have the opportunity to pet sit. But now my circumstances have changed and I am ready to start over again and am anxious to find new clients to have fun with! My special skills that I bring besides my maturity is sense of responsibility, patience, reliability, trustworthy and love of pets. I am retired and live alone with my dog, Lucy. I am available 7 days a week to meet your needs and look forward to assisting you with you pet care. I live in an apartment with my dog, Lucy, so walks will be on leash only. I would walk the dogs separately, unless they walk well together..but that would be on a "to be determined" basis. I do live on the first floor so getting in and out for walks is very easy. I do have a fenced in patio, in nice weather we can sit outside for some fresh air. As for inside, my apartment is quite large with plenty of alone areas..I have 2 bedrooms and a study so everyone can have their own space, if they want..or not. Of course feeding would be done separately and Lucy would be enclosed, just for safety ...can never be too careful when it comes to food. If my clients dog is not comfortable at first, Lucy can stay in 2nd bedroom with a gate up if and/or until everyone is comfortable.

I would love to come to your home and take your dog on a walk, play with them or take them to a park to walk, or host them in my own home! I work full time as a teacher but am available for walks and drop-ins in the afternoons and evenings! My boyfriend and I are typically home on the weekends and on weekdays if your pup is staying with us, they would not be alone for longer than 5 hours. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young and always had a special connection with dogs. I took classes throughout college that allowed me to take care & train service animals - which ultimately led me to become a certified service dog trainer. Although I do not use that certification, I train my own personal dogs and pay close attention to behaviors. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart & I promise to nurture and spoil your pup! I run two businesses completely virtually so have a lot of free time to walk & attend to your dog’s needs throughout the week. I also take my own dogs to the dog park and out exploring on the weekend, so can take your dog(s) as well if you’d like! Although my yard is not fenced in, it is backed up to other fences and has a lot of land for our dogs to run & play. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate or multiple dog beds throughout the house to keep your pup as comfortable as possible!

It's great to be back to NC, this time in Wilmington after my years in the Chapel Hill/Raleigh areas where I had amazing Rover clients. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. As an adult I gave rescued and fostered all sizes and breeds. Dogs have filled my homes with love and joy and I look forward to sharing my large fenced back yard with a playful puppy or a well seasoned frisbee catcher I currently work three days a week, no more than 6 hours per day. I can visit twice daily, depending on location if a walk is needed. If I am pet sitting or boarding the pets will not be alone for more than 5 hours at a time. I have a large fenced yard with a 1/4 mile walking path just beyond the gate, backing up to Haliburton Park. I am also just 10 minutes from Carolina Beach State Park and the dog park if your pup likes to socialize
