About: Growing up we had both dogs and cats in the house. As soon as I had an apartment that allowed dogs, I adopted my sweet and sassy pup snoopy. Over the years his mobility declined and I gained insight in how to care for an elderly pup including administering shots, and oral medication. Last year my fiancé and I adopted our sweet girl Betty. She tested us as a puppy, and provided an opportunity to learn about training a dog with a different personality from my first pup. I work as an RN Monday- Thursday and my fiancé works from home Monday- Friday. We live in a first floor apartment with a walk out patio. Our complex also has a dog park and plenty of space for long walks. We are a nonsmoking home with no children; just Betty and she is very friendly with other dogs. I work Monday- Thursday. My fiancé Sean works from home and is a dog lover too! Between the two of us, there is almost always someone at home! I am familiar with different harnesses and the importance of leashing dogs when out and about. My apartment has several fenced dog areas and lots of outdoor walking space!

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life. Growing up, our family always had dogs and cats, and as an adult, I’ve had the privilege of caring for two blind rescue dogs, as well as my current lovable 16-pound Aussiedoodle, Zoey. Zoey lives with me and gets along well with other dogs. For the past 2½ years, I’ve owned and operated a dog-walking and cat-care business, caring for a variety of neighborhood pets. My experience includes three 19-year-old cats, two medium and large Doodles, a Dachshund I’ve cared for since he was just 10 weeks old, and dogs of many different mixed breeds, ages, and personalities. My approach is to always let the animal lead. Both of my rescue dogs came from very difficult circumstances, and I learned how important patience, trust, and a sense of safety are. Rather than expecting an animal to immediately feel comfortable with me, I give them the time and space they need to open up on their own. With a calm, loving, and safe environment, that trust usually begins to develop naturally. I’m especially comfortable with animals who may be shy, fearful, cautious, or unsure of strangers. I take a very gentle approach, allowing them to get to know me at their own pace. Once they feel safe and comfortable, that’s when the magic unfolds! I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine, whether that means sleeping in a crate at night or curling up on the bed. I live in a first-floor apartment facing a nice open green space, which makes it easy to provide frequent potty breaks and neighborhood walks. With pet-parent permission, it’s my norm to send daily updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away. I’m also comfortable administering medications and handling foods that require refrigeration or freezing. I watch dogs who are 1-25 lbs. My schedule is fairly flexible, and I do my best to accommodate each pet’s individual routine and needs. Just let me know what works best for you and your pet! I am currently retired so I am home most of the day/night. I live with my 16 lb non-shedding Aussie doogle dog, Zoey. I may step out to run errands, go to an appointment, other, but am otherwise at home. I allow dogs to sleep on my bed or stay in a crate at night, per pet parents wishes. If you are traveling and require a pick up after 6 pm just let me know so we can work something out. I live in an apartment on the first floor, so I have easy access to let dogs out for potty breaks as I face an open green space. I live in a safe community with plenty of sidewalks and street lighting. I often walk my dog clients in the morning when it is cool outside, so they can get adequate exercise. On rainy days, I like to occupy your pet with tug-o-war, or a treat-kong, or playing with other toys. Please feel free to bring your dog's favorite toys.

We had a wonderful experience boarding our dog with Kim for a week! This was the first time our dog had ever been boarded in someone’s home, so naturally, we were a little nervous and worried about how she would do. From the very beginning, Kim made us feel comfortable and reassured. Kim took excellent care of our dog. We especially appreciated the photos and videos she sent. We will definitely use her again.
Hilary was great with Milly! She asked questions to make sure Milly was comfortable. She made sure to take her for walks and pup cups around the corner from the house. She has a sweet pup named Sunny who loved Milly and kept her company. She also had some other pups come and go so it was great for Milly to socialize. She kept us up to date and sent us pics. Would highly recommend.

Can’t thank Adam enough for taking such good care of our choc lab, Bernie! Adam was so helpful and happy to do a meet and greet prior to Bernie staying with him to make sure it was a good fit. We were traveling for two weeks and had never used Rover before, but can confirm will absolutely be booking with Adam again in the future due to his flexibility, great communication and overall loving on our pup as if Bernie was his own dog. His pup, Charli, was a sweet heart and we were so glad the two of them enjoyed each other’s company and Bernie seemed to be very comfortable and happy the entire time we were away. This was the first time we booked with Lisa. It was a "last minute" request. Lisa quickly agreed to host Demetri and we squeezed in a meet and greet the same day I booked. That's flexibility. Lisa has dogs and our boy fit into with the pack no problem. We would book with Lisa again.
This was our first time booking with Jessica and Kevin. They did a great job taking care of our bernedoddle. They have a huge backyard and a playful dog, Howie, so our dog had a blast.
