About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life! I grew up with dogs in my family, so caring for them and being around them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve gained plenty of hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playing, bathing, and keeping dogs happy and comfortable. My boyfriend also grew up with dogs, so we’re both very comfortable around them and genuinely love having them around. I understand that every pup has their own personality and routine, and I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with us. I’m new to Rover, but definitely not new to caring for dogs! I work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day to give your pup lots of attention, walks, and playtime. I live downtown and love walking, so having a furry companion join me on my daily walks would be a plus! I also live a very active lifestyle, and on the weekends my boyfriend and I love getting out and about. We live by ourselves and have plenty of time to make sure your pup gets all the attention and care they need. I’ve grown up with dogs and absolutely love having them around, so I would treat your pup just like my own! My apartment complex has a fenced-in dog park where they can safely play and get some exercise. Since my boyfriend and I live by ourselves, we can provide a calm, comfortable environment with plenty of attention. I’m also happy to follow your pup’s normal routine, feeding schedule, walks, and any specific instructions you provide so they feel as comfortable and at home as possible.
About: I grew up working on a farm and have always had dogs in my life. I have a sweet goldendoodle of my own. About: I’ve loved animals my entire life. Growing up, our family always had dogs and cats, and as an adult, I’ve had the privilege of caring for two blind rescue dogs, as well as my current lovable 16-pound Aussiedoodle, Zoey. Zoey lives with me and gets along well with other dogs. For the past 2½ years, I’ve owned and operated a dog-walking and cat-care business, caring for a variety of neighborhood pets. My experience includes three 19-year-old cats, two medium and large Doodles, a Dachshund I’ve cared for since he was just 10 weeks old, and dogs of many different mixed breeds, ages, and personalities. My approach is to always let the animal lead. Both of my rescue dogs came from very difficult circumstances, and I learned how important patience, trust, and a sense of safety are. Rather than expecting an animal to immediately feel comfortable with me, I give them the time and space they need to open up on their own. With a calm, loving, and safe environment, that trust usually begins to develop naturally. I’m especially comfortable with animals who may be shy, fearful, cautious, or unsure of strangers. I take a very gentle approach, allowing them to get to know me at their own pace. Once they feel safe and comfortable, that’s when the magic unfolds! I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine, whether that means sleeping in a crate at night or curling up on the bed. I live in a first-floor apartment facing a nice open green space, which makes it easy to provide frequent potty breaks and neighborhood walks. With pet-parent permission, it’s my norm to send daily updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away. I’m also comfortable administering medications and handling foods that require refrigeration or freezing. I watch dogs who are 1-25 lbs. My schedule is fairly flexible, and I do my best to accommodate each pet’s individual routine and needs. Just let me know what works best for you and your pet! I am currently retired so I am home most of the day/night. I live with my 16 lb non-shedding Aussie doogle dog, Zoey. I may step out to run errands, go to an appointment, other, but am otherwise at home. I allow dogs to sleep on my bed or stay in a crate at night, per pet parents wishes. If you are traveling and require a pick up after 6 pm just let me know so we can work something out. I live in an apartment on the first floor, so I have easy access to let dogs out for potty breaks as I face an open green space. I live in a safe community with plenty of sidewalks and street lighting. I often walk my dog clients in the morning when it is cool outside, so they can get adequate exercise. On rainy days, I like to occupy your pet with tug-o-war, or a treat-kong, or playing with other toys. Please feel free to bring your dog's favorite toys.

About: I have grown up around animals and am experienced taking care of puppies to senior dogs. I have spent the last couple of years learning more about what makes a dog stay healthy and happy. I understand how a pet is a member of your family or your whole world so I will treat them as such. They deserve to be cared for at the standard they would be by you and I will take that responsibility seriously. I have my own dog at home and sometimes life gets busy and I need others to help me. I enjoy doing the same for others by dropping in, walking your dog, or watching them overnight. I have a very dog friendly apartment with its own walking trail to take your pet on a walk. I also have balcony’s overlooking the trail that dogs enjoy sitting on and watching the activity outside. I do have my own dog who is crate trained but he also always wants to play with other dogs. I can keep the dogs separated in my home, or out loose depending on your preference. I have no problem sharing furniture and couches with a fur baby because their comfort is my priority.

While away on vacation for nearly two weeks, we received many daily updates and photos showing their daily activities including Willow. Brittany and her family truly made Willow one of their own. About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10. However, I started to do more at home, longer sitting when I was 15. I have helped dogsit small, medium, and large dogs. I enjoy playing fetch, walking, and playing with dogs. I also love giving belly rubs. I am a teacher, so I have summer breaks off. Additionally, I have two week breaks and holidays off. My schedule is very flexible and I am able to provide quality care for your pets. I have paved sidewalks and a fenced in dog park. I also have lots of grass, as well as the ability to drive your dog to the park to make sure it gets adequate exercise.

They both took the time to listen to our dog’s needs and routine at drop off and asked good questions. Our dog needed to wear a cone for most of his stay and they went above and beyond to make sure he continued to heal. I was so nervous about leaving our Poodle with strangers, but in this case it was completely unnecessary worrying! Carol sent us pictures daily showing that Reece was fine and that she was settled in and comfy. Our feeding regime is a little complicated but I’m pretty sure it was done as requested. I would definitely use Carol and Pedro again! I’m so glad to have found them!
Ava was amazing to my sweet pup Luna! I’m always nervous leaving Luna when I travel since she is so young, but Ava did a great job making me feel at ease and treated Luna like her own. She sent photo updates every day and was very responsive to all my questions. While I was on my vacation, Luna basically got her own vacation with Ava between beach trips, coffee dates and Loop walks! (She even bathed her for me after a trip to the beach!) I came home to a tired and happy puppy and couldn’t be happier with her stay! Ava is definitely our go-to sitter!
What a great experience! This is my first time using Rover. Laine and her housemate were such sweeties to my big shepherd! Firstly she's a great communicator really responsive and clear. She did a great job of helping me orient to the platform and also to introduce our dogs. She asked really good inappropriate questions that made me feel reassured. She was thinking of everything. Such patience and ease. Her set up is just perfect for a dog because there's great big glass windows and you can see everything going on in the "play yard" everything's clean and lots of things for dogs to enjoy. And they seem pretty relaxed about having the dogs lounge with them and playing with them and it looked like my dog was having an absolute blast! Usually when I pick up my dog after being away she is like a rodeo horse so excited to see me! I think in this case she had so much fun she was OK with staying! I can't recommend Laine highly enough! Oh and did I mention that she did my booking last minute when I was filling in for a coworker! She's just great!
