Dog Lover & Loving Household
I’m a solo mom to a sweet 8-year-old boy, but my very first “baby” was Banx, my beloved Chesapeake Bay Retriever, who crossed the rainbow bridge in January 2019. While we’re not quite ready to add a new pup to our family just yet, my son and I would love the chance to open our home — and our hearts — to yours. He’s eager to learn responsibility and shower some furry friends with love, and I’ve definitely missed the joy (and snuggles!) that come with having dogs around. We can’t wait to meet your bundle(s) of love and make them feel like part of the family for as long as you need. ❤️

Ratings and reviews
Jennifer did a fantastic job watching my little Chico. She sent me photo & video updates every day. She responded quickly every time I messaged her. She and her son took excellent care of him. Lots of walks, lots of playtime, and snuggles on the couch at night. I highly recommend her!

Jennifer was awesome!! We are so grateful and we felt so good knowing our dog was having a good time!!

Jennifer was wonderful. She sent daily update with picture and videos. She was great with keeping me up to date throughout my dogs stay!

Jennifer took such great care of our dog. She sent updates and made sure he was walked and snuggled. We have had her watch Ferris twice now and he is so happy when he sees her!

Jennifer was a great dog sitter for Remi. Her communication for pick and drop off was great. Jennifer sent updates and plenty of cute pictures during Remi’s stay. Would highly recommend Jennifer to watch your pet.

Jennifer and her son took exceptional care of our baby, Bella. She is a senior dog and requires a daily medication. They are a loving environment for our baby and we highly recommend engaging them for your pet sitting needs. Thanks so much for your loving kindness to our little girl.

Schedule
I work remotely on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and my office is only 15mins away, so your pup will never be left alone for long. I’ve got time in the mornings and evenings for walks - on remote days we can do more play time - and I’m out on the Smith Creek Park trail daily since it connects right to our apartment complex. We also have two fenced-in dog parks for safe playtime and a pet spa on-site if they need a bath. Your dog will never be left alone too long and will get plenty of attention, exercise, and care while they’re with us!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I’m on the third floor — with elevator access for elderly dogs if needed — and since there’s no foot traffic by our windows, barking hasn’t been an issue. I can crate your dog if that’s part of their routine, but I don’t require a crate for their stay. Leashes are always used for walks, and if your pup isn’t comfortable around other dogs, I’ll only take them to the dog park when it’s empty. Pups are welcome on the furniture, we LOVE some snuggles, and… ONLY with your permission… I like to spoil them with a little drizzle of bacon fat on their food. When your pup is here, they’ll be treated like family. 😊
A typical day
I always take pups on walks around the neighborhood and sometimes to Smith Creek Park, too. We love playing fetch at the nearby dog parks or socializing with other dogs there—always with careful attention to safety and making sure everyone is comfortable. Your pup can also play with my 8-year-old son and his friends, so there’s plenty of fun and energy-burning opportunities. And of course, there will be lots of snuggles, treats, pets, and cozy naps—everything to keep your pup happy and comfortable during their stay!
