Can I pet your dog?
I cared for pets since I was 10 years old. If I see a dog out in public, I always have to ask their person if I can pet their dog. I have trained puppies with basic obedience and potty training. I believe that dogs need to be socialized if possible. I have also cared for elderly dogs and had to administer shots and pills. My little guy was a rescue that lived for 20 years. I don’t currently have a full time dog in my home. I just said goodbye to him in November 2024. I sometimes keep my girlfriend’s miniature labradoodle. He is about 30 lbs and is great with other dogs, kids and people. He has a fun personality and is a great playmate for other dogs. I also sometimes do weekend fostering for service dogs in training with Canines for Service.

There are not enough words to say what an amazing caregiver Jerry is to his pets. When I leave Raya with him, I have not a care in the world as I know she is treated like she is part of his family. And that always makes my heart happy! ❤️

Jerry took excellent care of Nellie. She got playtime with other dogs and walks everyday. Nellie was happy to see us at pickup but also seemed very happy to have stayed with Jerry. Will definitely book with Jerry again.

Schedule
I work from home. I am a single father. It is just me and my teenage son. We are both very active and love animals. I am available to spend plenty of time with our furry friends. My little buddy passed away after 20 years in November 2024. So I do not currently have any pets in my home. I do watch my girlfriend’s dog from time to time. He is a great playmate for other dogs. He is friendly with all people and other dogs. He has quite a personality. He only weighs 30 lbs. I only watch 1 dog at a time unless there is a second dog within the same family. I will watch up to 2 dogs from the same family together.

I live in a quiet community with sidewalks and established trees. I have a fenced yard. I can let them out frequently. I also like to take them for walks at my home or your home.
A typical day
I like to go for walks and go to parks and the beach. I love to play with dogs and cats. I believe in giving lots of attention to our furry friends and keeping them socialized.
