I’m available for housesitting as well as drop in visits and walks on short notice.I’m excited to get your baby out and get them some exercise. I am currently laid off and have open availability. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. My family got our first dog when I was three years old, and we’ve always had dogs in our home ever since. Through family, friends, and neighbors, I’ve cared for a variety of breeds and personalities, including Pit Bulls, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, and small breed dogs. About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. I’m also qualified to train emotional support animals, which has been so rewarding. I chose this as a career path because of how much I genuinely love all living things. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and give them the best care they could ask for! I own my own business, so I make my own schedule. I can tend to whatever schedule best suits the animals. I don’t have pets of my own, so that gives me even more flexibility. I always make sure I’m doing my best to care for animals, in any aspect of my life or career. I’m diligent in making sure their feeding, walking and play schedules are upheld promptly, and that their routines stay relatively in tact. This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.

About: Ever since i was a little kid i’ve been around all sorts of animals. Growing up i had multiple cats, dogs, reptiles, and other animals. i have always had a passion for caring for animals, and i have 4 years of experience working at a doggy daycare/boarding facility and dog sitting! i am very well versed in animal behavior and body language, and i am also very experienced in medication administration, including shots, as i have a three year old diabetic kitty who receives shots twice a day! i can guarantee your fur baby will be treated just like family with me :) I am a part time college student currently, so I can be super flexible with scheduling! About: I have had cats and dogs since I was 3 and I am currently going to school for my Bachelors in Animal Science, therefore I would love to express my love for animals with caring for yours! I love taking dogs to the beach, parks, and trails throughout Wilmington. My schedule is very flexible. Just let me know what works best for your schedule. And I will make sure I’m able to help with services. I make sure dogs feel comfortable and at home. If I notice they are stressed, I will sit with them for a few minutes and then take them on a walk to get some energy out. If there’s anything specific your dog likes to feel more comfortable, let me know and I’ll take that into consideration. About: Hi! I recently moved to the Leland area! I mostly work from home, but may have to go into the office on occasion. I generally am pretty flexible and can take same-day bookings depending on my work schedule, meetings, or if far travel is necessary. I am an absolute animal lover. I have had dogs since I was a child. Recently, my childhood pet passed. I am looking to fill the pet void as I decide if I want to pursue getting a puppy. About: I was an intern at Como Zoo for 5 years caring for all kinds of critters, all different shapes, colors, and sizes! That is where I grew my childhood love of pets to a love of all creatures :) I currently work in the late afternoon/ night so morning and mid day walks work best for me, but open to try and wiggle my schedule around! I believe animals respond best to positive attitudes and enrichment, they’re intelligent creatures that need to get out and explore just like us, with the safety and comfort of a good companion!
