About: I have owned a dog all my life and have taken responsibility feeding, bathing, and walking! I love watching family friends dogs as well as helping out with peoples pets in my neighborhood! I have open availability on weekdays/nights, plus weekends! I am available to walk your pet or come to your home and take care of them! I have found I get along very well with all different types of animals and will contact you with any concerns or questions you may have. I will also send pictures of your pet if you would like!

About: I’ve grown up with my own dogs my entire life, and started dog sitting and walking dogs for friends and neighbors as young as 12 years old. I also have prior experience working at a dog grooming business, so I am well versed in keeping an eye on multiple dogs at once (and baths, if needed!) I’m currently home full time, so I am typically available any day of the week, at any time! I am very flexible and happy to work around the schedule that you need. When I come to take care of or walk your dogs, I will dedicate my time and attention to them. I would love to take them on walks, to parks, play with their favorite toys, or do anything else you normally do with them to make them happy and comfortable.

About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. I’m also qualified to train emotional support animals, which has been so rewarding. I chose this as a career path because of how much I genuinely love all living things. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and give them the best care they could ask for! I own my own business, so I make my own schedule. I can tend to whatever schedule best suits the animals. I don’t have pets of my own, so that gives me even more flexibility. I always make sure I’m doing my best to care for animals, in any aspect of my life or career. I’m diligent in making sure their feeding, walking and play schedules are upheld promptly, and that their routines stay relatively in tact. This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.

My home is currently shared with a sweet, energetic Lab-Boxer mix named Felix and a wonderful senior cat named Baby, so I am incredibly comfortable navigating the distinct needs of both high-energy dogs and older, more sensitive cats. About: Making sure animals feel loved, secure and happy are my priority always. I have taught my own dog tricks and commands like “sit,” “paw,” “down,” and “up,” as well as teaching her to use bells when she needs to go to the bathroom. I have taken care of puppies and senior dogs, they have all enjoyed their time with me. When I’m not at work I’m hanging around with my own dog. We go on walks, play, have treats, work on her commands, lay out in the sun and listen to her favorite songs together. In my clients home, I am willing to do anything necessary by the pet owner to ensure their animals’ safety and security. My dog is shy but extremely playful so I will not be offering my own home for pet care.

Since a young age I have worked at local animal shelters, worked with nonprofit organizations, and pet-sitted/boarded all over the country. About: Over the years I've had experience with all stages and ages of pets, especially dogs, but also including horses, chickens, fish, guinea pigs, bunnies, cats etc. I've raised and cared for my own pets from puppies to elder dogs, special needs to the most energetic (or anxious). I've taken in some willful and anxious fur babies that have thrived and became amazing loyal, obedient and loving companions. I have also been blessed with 4 amazing grown kiddos that have pets of their own and I get to care for them often and its the best!! Most of my/my families pets have been rescues but we've also had/have several pure bred Animals (Long-haired German Shepherd, Newfoundland, Maltese, Blue Pittie). I like to make sure the fur babies get lots of love and exercise, but its also okay if your pet is a bit more stand-offish. I truly appreciate when pet parents leave information about routine, pets personality and preferences and will follow instructions meticulously. Special needs, medications, puppy care, etc are also welcome (of course!!). Feel free to ask any questions...look forward to chatting and meeting you/your fur babies. I am an empty-nested Mom and Mimi with my kids' families being spread around CO, NC, TN, GA, STX so I travel to see kids/grandkids/family...a lot...and I love it. This gives me the flexibility to do house sitting/pet care around those visits (in some cases, I've done sits near my kids as well and check both boxes, pet care and visits with the fam). I'm looking to pet/house sit almost full-time around family visits. I'm also VERY open to traveling to pet sits outside my home base area, overseas as well. I lost my little Maltese "Smiles" a few years ago and have poured my snuggles into my kid's 6 dogs. With my travel schedule its hasn't felt like the right time to add a new pet to my personal life so getting to love on my families' pets and those that I sit for really helps fill that void. I only care for pets in your/their home. I am primarily looking for overnight sits, but will also be available for walks and drop-in care.
