“Taryn has been helping with Ranger regularly lately and we are so lucky! He adores her and it gives me so much peace of mind that she’ll be there when I’m at work. She’s very flexible and reliable. Highly recommend”

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life, they just have the sweetest souls. I believe the best way to love them is to meet their needs. Whether that’s through affection, play, walks, fetch, training, or enrichment, I’d love to help you meet their needs in whatever season you’re in. I’ve cared for puppies, senior dogs, and everything in between! Whether they’re super friendly, anxious, timid, stubborn, a bit wild, or just goofy, I pride myself on my ability to be patient and am more than happy to meet your pup where they’re at. I’m currently available for walks and drop in visits between 8am to 5pm Weekdays and on some Saturdays. If you need long term walking or just sporadic, I can do both! I am currently unable to provide in-home services due to restrictions from my landlord, but I’m available for drop in visits and dog-sitting your pup in their domain!
“This was our first time using Jessica to drop in on our pups. She was great and the dogs seemed to love her! We were a bit concerned about having someone in our home while we weren't there, but Jessica helped alleviate those concerns during our scheduled meet and greet. I highly recommend Jessica and we will reach out to her again for future dog sitting services.”

“Blanca is the absolute best! She looked after Sophie while I had to go out of town for a few days and she clearly cares about the pets she looks after as if they were her own. Very communicative and thoughtful. Sophie could not have been better cared for. Highly HIGHLY recommended to anyone in need of a pet sitter or walker.”

About: I've had dogs my whole life. I'm very comfortable with big dogs as I've always had Golden Retrievers. After my kids grew up and moved out and the last of our fur babies passed I decided to spend my time enjoying others dogs like my grandbabies and giving them back! I still love dogs and being around them would enjoy helping with your needs. Long walks or short walks I usually walk 5miles everyday either way. I'm not working anymore so this gives me something to do that I enjoy and not something I have to do but rather enjoy doing. My husband passed from cancer so I have alot of free time . I walked dogs at Canine for Service also and loved that. Overnights are welcome also. Walking, playing , potty breaks and feeding are very fitting for my schedule, I would come to you for your needs.
“We had a fantastic experience working with Kate who took care of our two cats. She was incredibly responsive when booking, coordinating the meet n' greet, and of course looking after them during the time we were gone!”

About: I have had a furry friend in my life in some form or another since I was very young. I have experience with both more reactive and friendly breeds and have no preference on the kinds I work with. I use patience and understanding to make them feel safe. I worked professionally as a dog walker and pet sitter for two years to multiple dogs and can bring love and affection to any animals in my care. I am responsible, punctual and a great communicator and can be an asset in caring for your dog or other animals while you are away or on a regular basis for walks. I work 4 nights a week from 3pm-11pm downtown. I am not opposed to early morning visits or late nights visits if required and am available for overnights. I do a walkthrough with owners of exact locations for all your pets, learn their quirks, the things they love and don’t like and what might come up during my stay with them. I answer all phone calls and texts from owners while they are away to ensure they feel safe and comfortable knowing their animals are properly cared for.
About: I have been in the industry for 6 years, on and off. I have experience working in professional doggy daycares and limited experience working in the medical veterinary field. I am currently enrolled in college courses to eventually receive my certification to be a Registered Vet Technician! I have references to provide for previous housesitting/petsitting experiences. I currently have in person classes Monday-Thursday. Wednesdays I am on campus from 9am-3pm. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays I have ONE 75 minute class. I do not have animals stay at my residence but I enjoy staying with animals at their home. I keep the homes clean and never have violated any privacy concerns. I am vigilant and anal about home care and pet safety.
“Thank you to Lindsay to taking such good care of our boy! We felt completely relaxed and my furry boy loved each visit— the daily photos showed how much he enjoyed Lindsay’s company!!”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with a passion for providing exceptional care to dogs and cats. As the owner of several dogs, I know firsthand that pets are family, and I treat every pet in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I’d give my own. I have experience caring for pets of all ages and needs, including puppies, senior pets, administering medications, and households with multiple pets. Whether your pet needs extra patience, a consistent routine, or plenty of playtime and cuddles, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m dependable, flexible, and take pride in providing reliable care you can trust. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your furry family member is receiving personalized attention and compassionate care. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and making them feel right at home! My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to spend plenty of quality time with your pets. I enjoy providing consistent care, attention, and companionship so your pets feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I believe trust starts with knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. With experience caring for multiple pets and volunteering at my local SPCA in the past, senior animals, and pets needing medications, I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and following each pet’s unique routine. I provide a loving, supervised environment where pets can feel secure, relaxed, and loved while you’re away.
About: I've worked hard to take care of a variety of pets and very much enjoy the work. I love engaging with pets and making sure they're well cared for. I've been entrusted to hold onto keys and door codes and take that very seriously. I like to fit my schedule around animal care as it's my passion. I'd like to be able to do it full time and am working towards that. I treat everyone's home like my own and am sure to show respect while tending to pets. I get everything necessary done then spend some time with the animals to build trust. I take security and safety very seriously and ensure kennels, cages, and all doors are locked.
“Abby has been so communicative and my dog loved her. She was on time, very informative, and sent lots of pictures and videos. I felt very confident that my dog was well taken care of the entire time!”

“BriAnn was amazing! My dogs were quick to befriend her, and had some nice belly rubs during our scheduled check-ins! With a nervous rescue, I always know that they are in great hands when she warms up so quickly. :) We will definitely be repeat clients!”

About: I have loved dogs since I was a child, i will treat them like me own. Having two crazy spoiled fur babies of my own will ensure you that yours are in good hands! I am looking to help walk dogs week nights after 5pm (no time is too late) and on weekends! I am also willing to check in and stay with pups for periods of time as needed. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
