About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed being around all kinds of pets- from cats and dogs to farm animals. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I’ve dreamed of having the opportunity to spend more time with them. My husband and I moved to Wilmington about 10 years ago, and for much of that time, life kept us so busy that having a pet of our own didn’t feel fair. Since I haven’t had pets of my own during this time, I’ve happily gotten my animal fix by pet sitting for friends and caring for their cats and dogs whenever they’ve needed someone they trust. I work away from home (Registered Nurse since 2016) just one day a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to give your pets the attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and love they deserve. I have a fenced in yard, a nice neighborhood for walks and no other pets to care for. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care, and I’ll treat them like they’re my own.

About: Dogs only want to give and receive love. They are, perhaps, Gods greatest creation. I've worked at a Veterinarian office/Doggy Day Care nearly 5 years, caring for all ages and sizes. I volunteer at the Sheriffs Animal Control Shelter in Supply. I believe dogs enrich the lives of the people around them. I've always been able to bond with dogs. A mutual trust has always come easy. They're all beautiful, and people could learn a lot from them. They make me laugh every day. Dogs will always be safe and happy with me watching over them. I wiil provide great companionship and a soft, warm touch while you're away. I guarantee that you will feel completely secure and confident with my abilities to maintain a safe, fun experience for your dog. Having someone you trust to care for your dog is invaluable. I will be that person. We love to be at home. Being on a walk or hanging outside is what we enjoy. I work at a doggy daycare and can fit pet care at home easily. Daily care of our dog is walking, feeding, brushing hair and teeth, love and cuddles, and of course playing games. We love to take our pebbles with us everywhere. We will give the same care to every dog we meet.
“We were so fortunate that Amanda was available last minute for us. We traveled from Virginia to NC to visit family with our Australian shepherd mix, Josie. We had intended to take Josie on all our outings with us. It was just way too hot to keep her out all day, so we got on Rover (we have used it at home numerous times) and were lucky enough to find Amanda. About: Thank you for considering me to care for your dogs. I know it’s not an easy decision. We also offer weekly Poop Scooping service - Just ask! I have always had a family dog. I have run an in home doggy day care, owned a pet treat bakery, earned my Vet Tech degree, worked in veterinary clinics, a specialty animal hospital, and as a pet nutrition consultant. I have cared for young and old, sick and healthy. I have seen everything at this point. One of my dogs had seizures so I know how difficult it can be to trust someone with a pet with medical conditions. I’m here to help. I hope to make this my full time job aside from mom. I have 2 daughters and 2 dogs. Check ins fit nicely into our busy family schedule. I’ll take time for each pet.
